I remember my father saying in WW2 all the German banknotes just lying there all over the place. My brother in law said, why didn't you grab some. My father was an honest soldier and wouldn't touch things that didn't belong to him. Plus he didn't like German's much 😅
But looting is what war is for though. But seriously, even if you do not like someone, does not mean you can steal from them.
@@Gumardee_coins_and_banknotes he never touched a thing, but plenty did. Those notes would of been worth a small fortune these days.
The Americans are still in denial they organised seperate airplanes to transport that alleged missing Gold from Austria where there was a literal treasure trove of everything.
