Niiice
Ariel Pink is on my list of favorite performers. Such a hilarious, uninhibited dude. That jam session at the end was immaculate. The Haunted Graffiti have some serious chops.
Yeah, no doubt
band is fucking pristine
I have no doubt in my mind Ariel Pink is the Zappa of the 21st century
only one zappa, only one ariel.
much better
If anyone is the Zappa of the 21st century, it's Thundercat
@@thescorpiuslibra1676Thundercat is a serious shredder, but almost feel like he's a better songwriter than Zappa with far more potential. Thundercat writes actual funky songs with melody, rhythm & catchy hooks.
Name one Zappa or Mothers song with a memorable baseline or catchy book. I'll wait...
@@Peyote1312wow… cosmik debris
Tru The walls! The walls
Tim Koh’s bass playing really stands out here and DADDY LIKEY
Sludge jam Captain Beefheart rhythms...convinced me.
shes so cool
*TO QUENCH MY THIRST FOR MORE CRYSTAL METH!*
Came here because of a Death Grips sample, heard another Death Grips sample in a Jack Daniels ad prior to video.
Perfect live performance even better then the original!
That solo is something i really want to learn to play on guitar!
You have the Beefheart weirdness or Zappa whatever but somehow the really pleasant to listen to thing right there in the mix which those other guys did not always bother with.
this song is the real thing
this actually reminds me of Zappa
captain beefheart
one of his great inspirations was r.stevie moore. and one of r. stevie moore's great inspirations was frank zappa.
i guess is the LA connection there
R.Stevie Moore
i love this man so much
The last minute of this video kicks ass
One of my Favorit

Time to learn sounds and play by ear bruh. Also watch the dudes hands when he plays guitar or bass lmao
wake n ariel
When the Pseudoephedrine was readily available...
It's fun to do, I like it a lot.
I'm soooooo down with getting high in the mau ning
What a fuckin voice
I LIKE IT ALAWT
Is so fuckin good
Reminds me of an American version of some of what Cornelius does
Sort of like retro pop, it sometimes sounds like 70's funk, sometimes 80's new wave & sometimes 60's beach grooves, it sort of feels schizophrenic but that's ok bcuz technically everyone is somewhat schizo! I'm not really sure about the dude, but he does have some interesting arrangements, if it was him that wrote it. Or whoever did write it has some interesting arrangements! It sounds like a collection of a lot of things put together to make something new that sounds old, & I'm guessing a lot of weed was smoked in doing so!
You absolutely hit the nail on the head. Also, yes Ariel writes everything
Drugs.. . .
I mean theres a line in this song that goes "To quench my thirst for more crystal meth" so you do the math lmao
more like wake n shoot
you have an exmilitary profile picture, i know why you're here. Thru the walls

Imagine trump coming out to this at one of his rallies.
What band was the older guitarist originally in?
+RYAN ZACHARY ORTIZ That old guy was in his own band. Stevie Moore.
+Al Smith R. Stevie Moore is not the guitarists in this video. He's one of ariels good pals but not in this band.
He played in Pete Yorn's band. His name is Joe Kennedy!
