Nice video, and very nice wheel/tyre combo, thank you for uploading. I've fitted some Cooper A/T tyres and spacers to my Jeep Renegade and they stick out about same as yours. I've had no issues with spray up the car or passing the MOT so I wouldn't worry. Like you I was initially convinced I'd have issues but because the tread, and therefore contact area with the road, is just within the arch you shouldn't have any problems there. Basically, it's the side wall that protruding not the tread from what I can see from your video... 👍

There great, had them on a while now, no problems at all. The insurers are ‘just kampers’ and it’s called ‘camper in conversion’ insurance 01256 444546
I just added a set of Rouge Alloys to mine 🤭 Edit: I also threw my old set away, didn't even think about putting them up on a well known (Ebay) site ! 🤦😫😝
Your right it does, but apparently only by a few MPH , on the crafters there is a adjustment on the vans display you can adjust by + or - 0 to 5 mph to accommodate different wheels and tyres. I need to calculate the difference, maybe do a video on it. Thanks for the comment on it 👍
Ive been looking at this combo for my van but Elites are currently sold out of the wheels. Has your insurance company increased your premium or did it stay the same?
I go kayaking a lot and wanted something better for sand and there better for weight. And a bit for looks, the standard wheels and tyre looks too small.
How are the 17-inch wheels going for you? Any rubbing? I bought a crafter last week and starting a big project - your videos will be very helpful. Cheers. My old van has KO-2's and I loved them.
Hi, thanks you, no problems at all, the only small issue I find is there’s a bit of splash on the van in the rain, I might get some wheel arch extension trims, other than that I’m very happy with them.

Surely fitting larger wheels mess’s up the speedo readings on the Van?

Mine is insured as van in conversion, that covers change in wheel, adding windows etc.

Same wheels and tyre combo I have on my Hilux 👍🏻. It’s what I want for the van too, how have you found your fuel economy after fitting them ?
I haven’t really noticed to be honest, I brought the van new so I didn’t drive it much before I put the new wheels on.

@@exploresandtosummit 😂 I’m the same with the truck it is what it is really. Fully loaded it’s over 3 ton so it’s not going to be amazing anyway.
