Hi mate just a note to say that I'm.lovong this series and I have just got my Crafter "finished". You bought yours from my local dealer - Chelmsford. What are they like for.servicing? I used to use Colchester, but they weren't great
Hi, thanks, I haven’t had it serviced yet as I haven’t done the miles, they done a inspection on it, after the year. Are you local to Chelmsford ? Did you put a double swivel seat in yours? I’m thinking about it.
@@mcelmo1 yes the one I was looking at is £700 I’ve got a electric cable to seat, sensor I think they said it won’t work with it in place, did you have any problems. ?
what are you making the roof rack out of ? everyone i have tried to buy seems to be £3k + ( sprinter lwb) i cant imagine your making one from angle iron OR aluminium , not seen you welding anything yet >
Hi Im making it out of Unistrut, painted black with a black channel capping and black end caps, that way I can change or add bars whenever I want, It also allows me to fix the solar panel and my side awning to it. Im just making the video now. Ill add a clip in my next video. It will save you a fortune in money. I was looking for one and couldn’t believe the prices. It does look good.
@@exploresandtosummit Excellent m8 thank you for the reply cant wait been following the build doing a sprinter myself at the moment . scared stiff of doing the solar !
@@exploresandtosummit its just expensive and i have to drill the roof if i could find some one to fit it for me ide go that way . PS why not make the rack from all aluminium ? ua-cam.com/video/Xhs5Ux4IjcY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=HumbleRoad

Yes mate I'm in Halstead. I did get a double base fitted. When you're camping it's great. What isn't so great is the cost.

I didn't fit it. But I think it may be unplugged. I can take a look for you?
Where did you get those touch lights (and are they dimmable?)
I got them from rayne automotive, there’s three light settings and a built in usd port

@@Edgunsuk Thanks, but why scared of the solar ? That’s the easiest part. Ill make sure I include it all in the roof rack video.
