If you don't already know, you clean yourself first sitting on those stools before going into the hot pool. You can wash again after or cool yourself with cold water in between. Since Mitsui Garden is a hotel chain from Japan, the public bath setup is pretty similar to many onsen hotels in Japan. There are also onsen hotels in popular hot spring towns in Taiwan. Some will have public bath just like this, while others will only have private bath in your own room.

Don’t forget to try the well known restaurant called Din Tai Fung. It’s famous of small meat buns. It has several locations in Taipei and also around the world. One of them is at the Taipei 101.

Haha I get my milk tea with no sugar, no ice, and a lot of times no toppings. I do like mini boba, pudding, grass jelly, or red beans occasionally. But my standard order is basically just tea and milk
