Such great service from LV! I thought they would charge you to repair it but so glad they didn't because yes I can imagine the cost of the leather and workmanship making it not worthwhile for them. I think they're coming out with Neverfulls with that gorgeous pink trim and handles so that's why they now have the parts to replace it for you. So happy you had a great outcome.

This is why I love LV. I stopped buying LV but their service is impeccable!! I took in my 8 years Artsy and while I was talking to the SA she told me have I notice the cracks on my bag. I thought I was wear and tear she goes no let me see what I can do. I got a store credit immediately. She wasn’t even my SA.
I kept waiting for you to say you got a message saying the bag couldn’t be fixed after all. It looks fabulous. LV did a great job on it, so glad to see you were pleased.
That’s amazing you were able to get all the leather replaced after all this time. I have the Neverfull GM Ikat in the desert rose and didn’t know anything about the melting issue. Hopefully my bag will stay in the condition it’s in.
Yes, I told the repair guy that’s why we pay a lot for these bags. Because they’re supposed to last a lifetime. And I love how LV has a repair guy there full-time it’s like they expect people to come in and get their bags repaired because they do expect them to last a lifetime, and to be passed down from generation to generation.
LV Just repaired 2 of my Empriente leather bags for free. They melted too. The Citadine GM and the Lumineuse bags . I also had the empriente speedy and they bought that back and gave me a CURRENT price for it, and my Sofia Coppola melted as well and they also bought that bag back for a CURRENT price. Congrats on getting your beautiful bag back xx

In regards to the Luminuese bag I have that one as well. I got that back in 2013. I remember the prior year had an issue but I can’t remember what it was. Was it the melting? Because I remember I insisted on getting the bag after they fixed the issue which I believe was 2013. I’ll have to start taking my bag out to see if it melts I guess lol.
Thanks for letting me know about the luminous bag I never would’ve known I didn’t know that had an issue. I did check mine and yes it is starting to get sticky. So I took it into the Topanga store and they offered to repair it for free or give me store credit at the value of the bag when I purchased it and I said OK I’ll do the store credit. So then I’m expecting them to give me a slip of paper or something for store credit and she said OK what bag do you like? And I said oh I don’t know I’ll look later and she said that you have to pick a bag today. Seriously? Like how could they make me want to pick a bag today? Plus have to pay the difference and make a decision that fast. So I told her I can’t make a decision that quick and so she said well OK take the bag back, but hurry and decide in the next week or so because the rules always change. Anyways, I’m gonna go over to Rodeo Dr this week and see what they can do. At least I know them there. I don’t know anyone at Topanga. I’d like to have a little more time and do the store credit because I’m kind of over the bag anyway. I’m thinking I’d like to get the monogram side trunk MM. And you know there’s gonna be a video on this 😂

Just remember to get the "todays value" at what the bag would be selling for in a credit or refund. Ya they want to deal with it right away and a lot of the time there is nothing that interests me so I go for the cash. I know they don't like it but.... oh well it's their fault that I have to return it. So glad you waited on your bag because they never knew how to deal with that glue issue and the first people who complained had to let go of those bags. xx

@@handbaglvr it was all from an ErA they called the Phoenix project The Epi NF as well they took back all 3 that I had They also had to redo all my Citadine GM I am still using them and so far they are ok But if there is any issue with any of the colored leathers from that time they know to give you a refund Have an Amazing New Year xo

I recently ordered a wallet from Louis Vuitton after I received it I didn’t like it ,a few days later I called Louis Vuitton they said repackage and use the return label and send it back . After two weeks I called them and told them I hadn’t received my refund . They looked into it and they had received an empty box and there was nothing they could do ☹️ no refund nothing . 😢
