im pretty sure the reason these images are so familiar is because they are all structures that were made of materials we have seen in a lot of places.
a lot of these are still in the final game, mostly as ambient sounds
the sound of the combines marching outside of the subway fit a bit,as you would probably hear them marching as there would probably be a fuck ton of combines during that parade.
