Seriously, those few steps in Dope? No one does drunk-off-balance-no-control walking better than Jimin. I have no idea how he does it. It actually looks like he’s off balance, but the next moment he’s right into the choreo again like nothing happened. He’s so good at those things.

Yes! Same in Fire during Yoongi's lines and the slo-mos, jimin makes those movements look natural and graceful.

Jin said Jimin takes extra time out to work with him and RM because they have a harder time learning the choreography. They are all good but Jimin and J-Hope are the main dancers. Jimin and J-Hope said they learn from each other. Jimin is very well trained in contemporary dance and other dances. He almost didn't make it in the group because of his training. He did kpop/hiphop dancing when younger, then contemporary dance. He said because of his contemporary training it was very hard for his body to move in the kpop/hiphop dance when training for BigHits. However, he is considered as one of the best dancers in the world. He is well known for giving the extra moves to his dance. J-Hope is also considered one of the best dancers in his style of dance. They both help teach the other members to learn the dances and also offer their suggestions to the choreography.
True that but nobody give Jimin credit on this. Always Jhope gets the credit for BTS' dancing when in fact both Jhope and Jimin worked hard to whip BTS into shape.

@@RosevilliaTrueleni kinda agree on that even though Jhope is the leader(ofc he is older and came first in the grp) he wasnt that seen but respected as dance leader and main dancer. JIMIN also helps jhope in choreo and teaches RM and Jin more than the rest, has the title of DANCE KING. JK is mostly in the center (thats his position so ofc he has to be in the middle and to be the youngest is a previledge) so he gets more attention in videos. But for professional dancers and those who watch live concerts , they always sees Jimin, he shines and moves like a monster on stage. Jhope also is great on live.

DEF noticed. It was blonde Jin era where everything changed and I remember it so clearly. His good look jokes already existed but from there on he embraced it even more. I remember I was melting when I saw blonde forehead Jin. And after bs&t is where he went WILD. like that was a whole dif chapter for Jin.

Jungkooks the center of BTS for a very good reason… the ON choreo is a perfect example of one of those reasons… his sheer power and energy is just in another level… it’s insane. However I think they’re all amazing dancers.. especially 3J .. I mean hobi who has no bones but so much body control… he’s insane and jimin.. I mean jimin is such a special type of dancer… that can really do it all and really just oozes sez appeal with all of his dancing even when he’s not trying lol it’s nuts and I’m hoping we get some contemporary dancing or something for his solo album… I mean jimins a born dancer and just mesmerizing during contemporary style dances especially… but he can do it all… but they’re all 7 great dancers… just of course some are a bit better but they’re all good

Nah but I've been a fan for years and this is the first time I've seen their progress so clearly. Great shows of videos and order of them! The fact that they were just as passionate in the beginning but are able to express it much more efficiently now through years of training became really evident. Always love to hear your insightful guests :)

Omg I love the bangs, so cute! I love that she can see Jin’s improvement, I know he’s not the strongest dancer but he’s worked so hard to improve and it shows.
I think something to consider is that their performances and dance practices have a different energy and that could also be why it looks like such a drastic difference.

I love that she pointed out Taehyung in Dope. I’ve always maintained that he’s been a really good dancer from the beginning, because of his energy and how he feels it (and he also just hits the moves right in a technical sense)

Thank you for recognising Taehyung’s dancing ability. He doesn’t have the skills of J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook but he has a very distinctive style and is good enough to be part of the dance line now. He’s certainly earned his place as a lead dancer. He gives me goosebumps every time I see his entrance in ON. I loved your appreciation of Jin as a dancer. He takes longer to learn the routines but he holds his own. For a guy who didn’t dance until he was twenty he is amazing. I laughed when you said, ‘Aw, bless him’.

Thank you for the lovely comment about Jin. He himself said he would work so hard, getting up earlier and practicing apart from the others before rehearsal, so he would be ready for the dance practices. He was and is a disciplined person but he's also a giving, thoughtful, caring individual - but that pretty much describes all of them.

yasss! i love how she payed attention to everyone esp when she points out jin's improvement! like yas gurl our boy worked so hard and i'm glad someone who watches this dance practice not only focus on the best ones but also those who improved in the process. like as an ARMY we all know who the best dancers are and how each one of them worked so hard to improve but its very seldom that a non-ARMY points it out from the get go.

Something about Jin thats confused me sometimes, there are early performances where he sings and dances like a dream (i remember a 2014 'just one day' performance and he was so smooth and killing it) while in others he seems more freshfaced and like a beginner, which he was. very interesting and something I need to look into deeper, im happy to see appreciation for him from professionals though. Jin is very perseverant and full of motivation and genuine love and a desire to be better, and because of that its so cool to see how amazing he's become. When he's into it, he's *really* into it, and I love seeing people who dont have preconceived notions or 'stereotypes' watch them dance because when people dont know what the herd is thinking, they can appreciate them without bias, and in cases like that Jin is clearly a standout when he wants to be (it looks she really liked him, when you said he was the blonde one she did more than a doubletake, so cute). Love it!

Jimin still is the first one to catch my eye. I’ve been an Army since 2014! J-hope is just iconic no matter what he does. They’re all so damn good though. Love them all!

Jin, the Eldest and hired off the street as a "Visual", put in hours of extra rehearsals, in addition to the 8-10 hours they put in as a Group. I laud that he looks so good next to Jimin (majored in Modern Dance), J-Hope (Street Dancing since he was 12), and Jungkook (basically raised in the Idol Training System since 13). Taehyung's ability to absorb choreo and not especially give his all during Rehearsals lends to that degree of Swag we love. After his Singularity performances he was promoted to Dance Line.
They did ON in full passes in the LA River Basin. At least one of Sienna Lalau's The Lab dancers was briefly hospitalized after the day was over.

The "On" back-up dancers were "The Lab" from LA. Sienna Lau is lead(first girl you see in vid), she did this choreo, at 18yo!!
I think you would really enjoy Black Swan MV, & the amazing live performances of this (Jimmy Fallon, PTD LA/LV, they in actual water for one performance!)
Their regular choreographer/dance instructor is Son Sung-deok, he has been with them from the start!

'Going off but still in control' is literally what Jungkook's dance style seems to be lol it's like he calculates every single aspect of a single move in his head and then he executes it and it looks perfect but how does he do that cause idk seems impossible to me
Considering 2 were underground rappers with no dance experience nor the urge to dance , dance pretty well. Suga who is a rapper and my bias dances amazingly well for someone with no dance experience

Suga's Complete Antipathy to Dance (his Shouted Complaint to their bosses in an early episode of their 10 Years of Media Output was that he was promised No Dancing when hired) versus his inclusion in That That's Video is Adorable.
Namjoon really can blend to them without having a background in dancing. Work hard paid off.

흔히 춤선이 부드럽다고 하는데, 머리.손끝.발끝까지도 유기적으로 컨트롤함을 놓지 않고 안무를 해서 부드러워보이는 것임.

Hi, i am back. I subbed. Good reaction, ty. I am so happy she saw Jin's improvement. Jin started learning days before the guys. He stayed late learning choreo after the others were done with training. He spent years doing this. He started late in life but improved so much. So proud. And ON is their hardest choreo to date. Jimin ult bias here. My eyes always go to him. Tae has a natural knack for expressing the song. Idol trainees all study him during training sometimes even after. And he worked hard to join the dance line in 2018. Proud again. =0} Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟

I’m not in bts but even I can admit jimin is their strongest dancer by a mile he reminds me a lot of taemin at least in the clips I’ve seen of him they’re both effortless and have this kind of elegance when they dance

@@jujubeesbtsarmy0613 I’m aware of who jhope is but I’m talking about musicality, versatility, and extc. I mean this guy can command an entire room with his presence and that takes dedication. Also from what I can see Jimin can do everything jhope could do but i don’t think jhope can do what jimin does and I mean no disrespect to him. Jimin I would consider to be one of the elite dancers especially in kpop like taemin, and ten. You can like who you like tbh that’s the whole point of a bias in a group but from an outsider from the fandom who isn’t a fan of the group it’s easy for me to acknowledge just how talented this guy because I’m also aware he gets tremendous amount of hate and u don’t even really gotta know him to acknowledge his talents. Best dancing group of any boy band or musical group in the history of music. I was talking to someone about BTS and she said what made them so popular was that they were ENTERTAINERS who could put on a great show.

I always thought that Tae has a natural dance IQ that can't be taught. Every move from him looks so natural. He always draws my eye, some people like to point out that he's not the most skilled dancer in the group which may be the case since he didn't undergo any dance training prior to joining BTS. Considering that fact its even more impressive to me that he was able to become part of the dance line
I love how she doesn't just focus on how beautiful or sexy they look. She focuses on the choreography at hand and she even admits that they're truly amazing dancers were just so true.

I love when professional dancers appreciate Taehyung. He not only hits the choreo but adds flava and soul. Imo him and Jhope have the most natural rhythm. Fire's choreo is some of BTS's finest (particularly Jimin), as well as On. Jk's power and vocals in ON are🔥🔥🔥. They all did amazing but the Macknae line really killed it ✌💜
This is why BTS is the number 1 group in the world. They worked so hard to get there.
