Jeff - I saw this video just before going to play tennis with my buddies - and after just a few minutes of trial and error, I NAILED it! I've struggled with consistency on my serve for so long...this one UA-cam session has been more valuable than hours and hours of playing, coaching lessons and other UA-cam videos I've seen. Thanks so much! For those interested in how I made the adjustments, I did the feet positioning adjustment first, then the toss (I was earlier popping it vertically in front of me of vs. in an arc that takes the ball over your head but still in front) and finally the arm movement. Every single tip here, when applied, makes the kick serve fairly consistent. The toss, by far, was the biggest game changer! Can't express my gratitude enough :-)
Hi Jeff, I really enjoyed learning about the kick serve. I had a great night of tennis today. I started out poorly, but after a few games, I was winning my service games with ease. I learned it with your Kick Serve Secrets, and each time I play tennis, I look forward to serving now. I don't dread it. I never had a kick serve before, and thanks to you, I have one now. The key for me is the stance, the grip, the shoulder turn, along with the starting position with the racquet. We were rotating partners, but by the 2nd and 3rd sets, we were winning points in doubles, when I was serving. I hit one topspin serve out wide, that I never hit before. I was giving my returner trouble. I heard one player, go "Wow"...I could not believe it. By far to me, the kick serve gives the most bang for your buck. It is my favorite serve to learn. And did I mention, I never had a kick serve before! Thank you Jeff! Keep coaching tennis.

Double-faulting as I get used to the new serve but also notice the difficulty opponents have with a kick serve and getting free points from it. Looking forward to persevering with it and improving. Great tuition and demonstration Jeff thanks the issue for me is to not do a waiters tray serve when I don’t by having a Roddick type take back I struggle to do anything but a flat serve. Problem with that is in doubles if I miss my first serve I can bottle my second serve as fine margins. Anyway off to the court to practice kick and topspin serve with no waiter element. Thanks again.

Just amazing. I must say I can hit a kick serve well just because of you. You are like Superman who saves tennis players from Earth like me. Keeping the arm on the same side of the body is the key idea which I have not seen any online coach talking about. In this case, I feel I use the whole body to roll the ball after compressing it. Yes, snapping or lagging is necessary but it is just a half of the story.

Very good video, great explanation. I like your step by step preview and youre a left-handed player. With your help i might succed to play a good kick serve in future. thx so much
The circular path maybe better explained this way (for left hander) is to swing from 3 o’clock to 11 o’clock. For right hander is to swing from 9 to 2 or 8 to 1.

Wow, what an accomplishment! If I’m not mistaken didn’t you go on to take 1st place the next 3 years in a row? That’s amazing. Just found this channel and glad to see you are sharing your expertise. Thanks.
tumofo thank you :). Really appreciate that
Thank you for a clear step by step on the kick serve. I'm a lefty and pleasantly surprised to see you are as well. Helps me as I don't have to visualize it and can just watch what I need to do.
Zaralimom that's awesome !
I keep going back to these videos. Simply the best stuff out there on serve!
Great video on kick serve. Nothing can be more better than this. I have seen this video at least 10 times and trying to learn each point of the instructions.
Thank you Jeff for such a wonderful video 👍

Jeff, your videos have always given me a basic skill and advanced tactics at the same time. As an advance-intermediate recreational tennis player, I have enjoyed much. For now to me, the toss is the most difficult part.
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing, I appreciate your valuable feedback. We have great lessons on the toss in our UA-cam channel. I'll leave the link below to one of the best up to date ua-cam.com/video/XpDRxMXeVok/v-deo.html

Amazed at such a high kick with what looks like 75% effort! Very fluid and assuming your body and arm are very relaxed throughout. Thanks for the great vid Jeff!!
Carlo Mandarino you are very welcome. Please share the channel with others
Thank you Jeff, you are awesome, I love you, this video solved something that's frustrated me for years. HUGE HUGE THANK YOU.
Francisco Ley I Iove it! So happy to help :)
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching.
Great video presentation Jeff! Especially your introduction discussion on grip and stance, I have not seen many other kick instructions that point that out!
vectorthurm 🙏🏻 thank you! I️ appreciate it
Man, this was so useful!!!! Much love ❤️

Thank you Jeff. Beautiful instruction. I thought i had it but after your video i still have to make several changes on my stance and swing.

Anh Tuan this is amazing :).
Anh Tuan can you please email me at jeff@tennisevolution.com
Best tutorial on kick yet seen. It helped me refine two aspects of my swing - stance and shoulders a little further back and open: and more relaxed circular swing path. Thanks. e.b.
Dr. E. R. Blomgren awesome!

Toulliou Jean-luc wow! Thank you so much 😊

Thanks for all your great videos! This is the best kick serve video I've ever seen. I've got one question. At 3:53 in this video, you told that shouldn't open the palm when doing trophy position. I wonder why should I avoid it.
조홍홍 thank you ! If you open the racquet face early, its more challenging hit kick

This is a clear, nicely paced, delivery.
Jim
swanjame thank you :)
Fantastic tip. The circular swing path of the serve really explained the technique. Thank you.
Karthik J oh thank you :)
The circular path maybe better explained this way (for left hander) is to swing from 3 o’clock to 11 o’clock. For right hander is to swing from 9 to 2 or 8 to 1.
Thank you, appreciate your valuable input!
Terrific description of how to do kick serve. You have been the best of all other coaches. Congrats!
James Murphy wow! Thank you that means a lot
Excellent description. Great job, Jeff.

Great lesson coach! written it all down now off to the courts ...
Barney Ross have fun and thanks! Let us know how it goes:)
@@TennisEvolution Really really well. consistency improved massively. And the "trigger finger" tip is something I've never heard spoken about until that video but was probably one of the most helpful pointers (it did loads for the power of the serve). Thank you!
It's very in details! Thankyou
rekensrommy you are welcome
From France : Finally test your advise this week-end. It really works : my serve became very reliable with a good volume on 1st and second serve with a good effect on the ball ! Need to improve power right now. Any advise ? Thanks for your video and post !!! A very goog help, well explained.
François Thominet awesome news! Thanks for letting me know. Check out my video on how to get more power on the serve. Or my programs

Are you also incorporating a pronation here for the kick serve?
The best video on a kick serve!!! Thanks 😍
No doubt you are the best at teaching how to serve in tennis!
Thank you, appreciate your nice comment!
Thanks for the clear explanation, I was just doing slice serves instead of kickers. Love to kick with serves 🔥
Great guide! And step by step progression is also very logical. I hope people will have patience to train those steps one by one and take time before progressing to the next one.
Best video for this serve, finally got the feel for it where coaches have failed to help me in person.
Thanks for watching!
