8 years and i Still waiting for part 2 🥴
it got deleted
@@TJVOCALS It never got released.
):
I believe there was 4 parts and this is the only one they nailed
Question: How would you describe your music?
Answer: Blegh.
It goes more for like Architects
Javier Aguilera haha hell yeah
Valerik Gamma that's true...very...very true.
Everyone turns into audio engineers all of the sudden lol
I love Tyler's vocals in this performance. Awesome screams.
+Andrew Valve couldn't agree more!
agree 100%, people always complain that he sounds like a whiny bitch but I think his vocals are very unique, I like the anger and raw emotion that you can always hear.
I love metal but hate screaming.. I’ve just lived with it. Some is alright but I never actually like it.
Tyler and Tom Araya both have badass screams though, actually a crucial part of each song.
I’d go as far as Tyler is the best to me. By a good margin from Tom even. All those decades of metal I feel like built up to someone of his talent.. but he went mostly unnoticed somehow. Weird.
never got part 2 lmao
Finn O'Bryan still waitin too XD
Ahead of its time. The guitars and vocals dance in symmetry. Tyler decided to expose himself, lyrically and the guitarist didnt hold back.
Sworn in is perfect especially when you see them live in concert their really cool and nice. 💖
I met him and shook his hand
Queen Lula Saw them live with Attila, Crown The Empire, and Like Moths To Flames a few months ago. Never heard of them before that night but they blew me away. Met Tyler after the show while I went to get some water. Cool guy, hugged him xD
+Concert Videos holy cow!!! when i met Ty he hugged me LOL i basicaly hugged you 2
Cant wait for part 2
It’s still amazing that Chris George I think it is wrote all the music himself. He chose to be drummer and I’m glad though. His timing is unique enough to where I could pick him out in a blind listen anytime I think. I love how he snares man 🫡
"if you don't want to buy it it's all over the internet"
I laughed so hard at that part XD
This is awesome. Ben did a great job on this live mix! Nice performance.
Chris, Tyler, and Gene's old band (before Sworn In) was called Buried By The Ocean, if any of you want to look it up! :+)
It never made sense to me when people would say a band sucks. I happen to love sushi, many cant stand it. Does that mean sushi isn't good? Should I not like it anymore?
I say this is a great video from a great band! Nobody can tell me otherwise!
Yeah man to each their own. Sworn in is badass. I love metal but don’t like a lot of singers screams. Tyler sounds dope as fuck. Buddy from Senses Fail on their first album from the depths of dreams had sick screams too. My list is short lol
I don't think she knew he was kidding when he said they're an Emotive Hardcore band.
My response would've been, "But you're not American Football."
Sworn In isn't too bad, after listening to a few songs, but they're starting to get lumped into all the other Metalcore bands Scene kids love.
Also the overusage of the "blegh"s
Iamabum21 It was a joke. They love joking about being emo since they're called that so often. They're not even from Chicago, Illinois lol. Not even gonna bother to comment on the last sentence.
Brick, read lamabum's statement again. You just basically repeated part one of his statement.
***** Yeeeeahhh... Wrong comment. Oops.
I see.... we came to a bit of a misunderstanding.
9 years later and still waiting for part 2 :(
Sloppy and raw, love it!
really good live performance! Even better when you are actually there!
still no part 2?
Still no part 2....
Just like this band sadly. 😂
You got no shots of the guitarist playing the solo. In fact, you were recording Tyler doing nothing while he was playing the solo. Wtf?
dat wah on the solo tho...
It’s unfortunate Sworn In was active when they were, this band was so far ahead at the time but yet so far behind as in they would’ve been much, much more appreciated nowadays.
It’s insane to think back to the days seeing sworn in, barrier, prospects, etc way back in the day to crowds of 25-30 people if that.
Man I feel old. 😅
the guitarist has a linkin park tattoo, i approve this
this is perfect. no matter what anyone says, it's amazingly perfect. wow
Are you kidding? It's sloppy as fuck.
it's not sloppy. shut up.
This is very sloppy.
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE!!
2ND FAVORITE BAND EVER!!!!!
This is a really good idea you guys should do stuff like this for up coming babies.
amazing
i commented a year ago and 9 months ago and still no part 2 lmao
Guess what? Still no part 2
Awesome peformance
I'm so happy now
2020 - Still waiting on Part 2
2022….waitinggggg…
i believe footage got corrupted / deleted
whens part 2?!
to be continued, oh yeah
4:04
Holy shit.
This is fucking awesome!!!!
for real give us pt 2
The interview girl is so hot ! damn. lol.
She has an English accent lol
Bro its you again
Its Destiny I know it
Ya Boy Phil Me ? lol
No *****
My Chemical Dennen
Still waiting on part 2 ;-;
Hey Artifex, when will pt.2 come out?
Holy shit this is really sloppy, but I guess that's where the charm lies.
Quality studio song in any case, probably just a shitty mix.
Rediculously poor mix, agreed. No compression, snare sounds like a wet rag.
no they just straight suck live honestly
It's the mix. I've seen 'em live twice and they sounded great both times. The drummer, Chris, is always ridiculously good.
DecimateTheTyrant The mix didn't make him play off time. They're also notorious for being pure slop live. I'll trust that.
I actually saw no problems with this. Really like how they sound live, there's a lot of emotion from Tyler, and Chris is a great drummer.
still waiting for pt.2
nice
What snare head is the drummer using?
Start/end is still the best thing they have ever released
Probably recorded with a poptart.
Who is name of interviewer
PART 2?
Part 2?
Come out with part 2
weird seeing them not play in their windbreakers lol
Tyler's smile tho ;u;
MY BLEGH BABIES
The emo band thing was a joke lol
it totally wasnt.
i thought the emo band from chicago illinois is realfriends?
just "we´re an emo-band"
Extreme Hardcore
it looks like that really hurts his voice
Check out my vocal cover of this song!
Bands*
Ive always wondered how the fucking they tune their six string guitars so low and not end up sounding all sloppy and super foggy and thick
Is Chris open handed? like a lefty drummer?
Yep.
So sick ;) im a lefty too, and I got a picture with him haha. Im glad I have seen them twice but sad I haven't heard anything besides the death card.
That's awesome, man! I've seen them twice myself, and I really enjoyed their performance both times. You'll never hear anything older from them live though, since they refuse to play anything older than The Death Card. But on the other hand, there's an interview I watched where they said they've already started writing for a new album.
i thought it was an awesome performance kind of bummed they did not show the guitar solo but oh well
An EMO band hahaha
We're an emo band
Cause Tyler nodding his head is much more interesting than a guitar solo...
the funniest live vocals I've ever heard, my mates do drunken impressions of this hahaha he actually cries
+LORCAN MACKEN My friends make fun of music too. It's so exploitable.
"An emo band" Tyler go home.
I think he was joking
Mike Walhorizon He wasnt joking
Jarod Vermilyea Yes, he was.
Griffin Welch no he was 100% serious, i think
Griffin Welch No he is being serious, he looks up to emo bands like my chemical romance. And it's obvious in their lyrics that they're emo. But I wouldn't consider them an "emo" band, I'd say post-hardcore or maybe deathcore
So yeah that's cool, just don't show the solo being played at all then
did he say butt hole at 6:01
I'm confused
I guess he said 'fuck it'
lol
FENDER!? RLY!? -.-
oh lord. no no no. ;-;
WHy the fuck are they using those guitars for so much down tuning? what the fuck
Those are Jim Root signature Stratocasters completely capable of being tuned that low, if anything even lower.
I always associated stratocasters with being the antithesis of what one would need to play drop F
Jim's signatures are like a 25" or 26" scale length. They're basically baritone to handle slipknot a drop b. You can tune them in a# or a like sworn in do without a problem.
This is bad and so awkward. Drummer kills it though.
no
Hell emo
bass player is so uninterested in whats going on.
lol "we're an emo band from Chicago Illinois" No you're not
I do not know why Tyler said that. They come from Grayslake, and they are more metalcore.
***** He's poking fun at the ignorant pricks calling him emo for no valid reason
***** Have you heard their lyrics?
Jona Bloss You know music is literally about showing emotion, right?
"The Death Card is a concept album. Tyler Dennen has depersonalization disorder, which essentially strips you of your sense of self/identity and makes you feel as if you are losing your mind. It is a living hell. He is simply attempting to portray the nature of the disorder and help people understand what it feels like through the lyrics"
Being generic isn't bad as long as you aren't sell outs and it's actual emotion. At least to me, idgaf as long as it's genuine.
That's not all music is about but yes I agree. And I know emo is short for emotion or emotional. I said nothing about the band being generic
Lmao Tyler didn't try, at ALL. Lmao I expected better than this.
I really like the drummer's ideas and creativity on the album but i must say he messes up A LOT playing live.
Yeah was thinking the same. First rule really isn't it. Don't write above your performing level. I understand a lot of technical drumming, doesn't mean I can play it lol.
drummer is always soooo sloppy jesus christ do you even practice your parts
I love this band but this was indeed sloppy
Got dang probably one of the sloppiest pro drummers I've ever seen
Anders Fredrickson are you kidding me? Chris is an amazing drummer and writer.
BRO I AM WATCHING THIS 5 YEARS LATER! And I completely agree. One of the sloppiest drummers I have seen, but I am speaking from the future.
Holy shit this is sloppy as helll...
I was very uncomfortable throughout this whole video
Gene > Tyler
Where Is Gutar amp?????? Do you fake play? wow...smh
You're dumb as hell
You're dumb as hell
how am i dum???? do u se the gutar amp? LOL
..
+Sam Jimenez how do u call me dum hahaha LOL you think they are playig but they r fake PLaying!! LolL ;-d
Man the drummer is really sloppy live in literally every live video I see of them
Dear lord this is terrible. I'm so bummed. I've been into Sworn In for a couple years now, and still have yet to see them live. The Death Card was fantastic, but now I don't want to see them live really, I guess it's just all studio magic. Damn.
Emo band??? I don't think so...😐
Are u kidding
garbage. used to play local shows with these guys. his vocals were much better then.
+CheetosMUFUKKA Well look where they are, and look at you. They played Mayhem, and you're just being mean in the youtube comments.
They have no stage presence. Bummer
Aaron Handrich Define "stage presence" considering they weren't on a stage? This is a live studio performance video so they can't be jumping about like they would on stage. Watch actual live videos of them, or even better, go see them live. They have a lot of stage presence lol.
i mean from the live videos I've seen of them they just don't fit their music with their presence. and even here. they don't put on much of a show in my opinion.
Aaron Handrich They really don't...
God Tyler is whiny
Well, I guess that is just like people whining about how "Tyler is whiny."
Fair enough!
Nope, sounds like emotion, not whining.
So horrible.
disappointing they call themselves emo
same
but why?
^
Well, they describe themselves as emo because they write emotional music, all about their emotions and stuff, he doesn't mean about the emo that's considered sad and wrists cutting stereotype.
