- Over in Cagliari, it was day two of running the new, and rather interesting, starboard wing with the Italians opting for a lot of straight-line sailing to check through its profile and the key control systems. Very much a commissioning day, the Flight Controllers were exploring every angle of the cant setting, riding high at times upwind on a lower angle cant before hunkering down and end-plating as they pushed it wider.

Il foil di destra "piatto" è nuovo mentre quello di sinistra è il vecchio legacy a "V". Con questo stratagemma possono bypassare il limite dei 3 nuovi foils per la LV cup.

Could you show us the true wind angle? There appears to be no apparent down-wind as it goes forward because of boat speed.
These videos never show numbers and getting them from the interviews is like pulling teeth. Don't expect it.
The guy at the sail clew must feel very confortable on the deck in 40 kn !!!!

@@jamesaron1967 surely they are at least as fast as the 75’s, and more comfortable than the quad motor cats.
And more to the point, burn considerably less fuel. But there must be a reason, and perhaps you’re right.

@@Silvius.2 GB had subpar foils last cup. We'll see how good their new foils are. The yacht itself is radical but it has potential if it lives up to its design premise.

@@pakoottox262 infatti. e poi credo che non stessero "spingendo" la barca al massimo, in quanto stanno ancora testando i foil, tra l'altro solo quello di dritta per adesso.
Ma no dai l'utima parte del filmato mostra un bel passo se vuoi tirarti su guarda gli inglesi......
