@@freshlymemed5680Deep blue was kinda weak and didn’t humble Kasparov like this, even when it was trained specifically to defeat him. It barely won in 1997 and got decommissioned immediately so there were no rematch so we don’t know if Kasparov had a bad day or not.

The AI is probably trained on the Geoguessr data set or something, and if you test the AI on the training set it'll be very accurate.

The only thing AI needs to be fed is google earths street view photo set....or just give google earth a game mode that lets you play against google earth, then it will always win with perfect accuracy..I don't see what the big deal with any of this is...like would it really be remarkable if an online dictionary beat me in a spelling bee? 😂
@@Solo-Anarchistthat’s not how geoguessr works. There’s like 200 billion something panoramas and that’s not even counting coverage dates. There is no such thing as a “photo set” it’s fed, it simply trains on a training set of pre-picked images on a hand-picked map then identifies patterns. ACW has 100k+ locs and none of them were repeats for the AI
The ai literally cheated against him. Rainbolt went on actual knowledge while the ai compared to alot of photos to get a good guess. Which is why its average is 5 km away from correct location

To be able to compete with AI in literally anything these days is literally superhuman shit, look at chess for example humans will NEVER be on the same level as AI at chess, at least we have hope in some areas to still compete.

It really depends on what the AI is trained on. If the AI is trained on the same images that Geoguesser uses as a prompt, that's cheating.
