I just installed a 12 head system watering 20,500 sq ft. A standard system quote for only 15,000 sq ft of my lot was 51 heads. My lot is pie shaped with a lot of curved garden beds and sidewalks. This was the only system that really made sense to me. Took 525 feet of pipe as opposed to several 1000 ft of pipe for a traditional system and total destruction of the yard. We will see how well it holds up over time.

Geez… 80# of water 💦 pressure! I’m jealous! This is my second season with my Irrigreen system. I’ve got 14 heads on a fairly simple 12,000 sq ft. I really like how it works and waters. The Irrigreen team has been great to work with!
I may have caught my pressure on a good day! I'll need to check it a few times throughout the days/weeks to see if I can get a fair average.
On the topic of pressure, and potential variation. I set up the shape for our two heads but on random days they seem to severely undershoot and occasionally overshoot.
We are only 6 days in but this behavior is consistent. Before the install I checked out pressure and had 56psi. Wondering if our pressure is varying enough to mess with our otherwise perfectly setup shapes.
Was going to look at a pressure regulator for the main line that supplies the sprinkler. 40 would be enough do maybe set to that and redo the shapes? If pressure drops below there is nothing I can do but at least this keeps the system from ever overshooting in higher pressure days.
Any thoughts?
Nice work. I'm thinking of ordering a kit by Friday... I'm just wondering why they recommend pvc? Traditional garden hoses have worked forever? Individual pieces at $12 vs 100' rolls at 89?
step 1: test water pressure. cannot stress the importance of this enough. i had an irrigation company unfamiliar with irrigreen install my system and they did not test my psi. it was 115psi at the street. and i live downhill from the street.... this led to lots of headache and blown out heads, replacement of heads. they admitted no fault. i sent them the manual to read MONTHS in advance.
imagine at 08:03 of this video for 12 hours straight while i'm at work when the sprinkler head blew off.... yeah. a nightmare.
What is the minimum water pressure required?
40-80psi required per their install guide.

Did you remove your old PVC piping?

When did you get the little fluff ball?
We have two of them, unfortunately...got them a couple years ago.

Expensive with mediocre spray.
It’s a much cleaner stream compared to a traditional sprinkler head. Takes some getting used to but it’s designed to avoid waste. I personally think it works really nicely.

It is sponsored content, yes. However, I know several people who are happy with their system, and so far I'm happy with it. Will be sure to relay any major issues if any come up. Planning to do an initial review later on after a fair amount of use.
Agreed, everything I see on this is sponsored content. They are spending a ton of marketing dollars saying they'll save 195% on your water bill. Hmm...
I did a random system on their site, and went through cart to checkout point. Is there an ongoing subscription? Look in cart: “ 3-Year Software/Monitoring/Weather Data 1x$750.00”. So are they going to charge $750 every 3 years? If so, does that maintain some kind of full extended warranty??
This thing cost 3k$ 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🙄🙄🤔🤔🤔… 100% these UA-cam are getting these for free for reviews. Everything will be great with these reviews. 😂😂😂
