This really helps! I have a cathedral haworthia that's stretching a bit with a plant light, and I was debating if I should put it by the window my plant is so picky, I leave it outside to get more light (partial sun ) but becomes stressed. And if I were to leave it as it currently is, it needs more light! it's so stubborn.
Ah tricky! You may have fiddled with this already, but intermediate options could include moving it closer to the grow light and/or increasing the hours per day the light's on. 12-14 hours is generally the right ballpark. Good luck!
@@Mountaincrestgardens Thank you so much! I do generally think I need a better grow light because I have a few other plants that have a stretched a bit. Any recommendations?
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing succulents can you tell me what is the green plant that you have in front of you I would like to purchase one it look like a snake plant but a smaller Kine
Aw thank you so much! The green plant in the back left is a Gasteria hybrid (mtncr.co/Gasteria) and the green one in the center is Ledebouria socialis aka Silver Squill (mountaincrestgardens.com/ledebouria-socialis-silver-squill/).
We recommend re-potting in fresh soil. Use a gritty mix with lots of mineral material as it's both nicely well-draining for your succulents and less hospitable for ants. When the soil is dry, sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the base of the plants. Reapply about every week to dry soil if the ant problem persists. Good luck!
Annie's so sweet. I'm no beginner but anytime I see a new vid with her I have to watch it 😊 we can always learn something new.
Aww thanks so much for watching!
Excellent information presented clearly and succinctly.
Thanks, glad it was helpful!
Thank you, this was very educational! You're wonderful
Thank you and so glad it was helpful!
Very interesting with the comparison of the two plants with low light. I wouldn't have noticed it needed more light.
Thank you!
