Thanks for posting this. Had my valves checked yesterday for the 3600 mi. and I’d asked the mechanic to check the plug as well. He said he couldn’t figure it out, and I had to admit I couldn’t either as the connector was right on top of the body. This makes it clear.

i ordered a spark plug after watching this. however i was not able to take it out on the lxv 125 ie. the bolt was slacking from the tool. Surprisingly, while taking off the cable the othen end came out!!
While giving up on unscrewing the spark plug, i found out that the other hand of that cable was indeed loose, i plugged it back in, and voila! turns out i did not need a spark plug at all. :)

Hi! The lx150 i use is a 2nd hand one and it doesn’t seem to have the spark plug tool thingy. Will a socket wrench work?? What size??

Hi Mitch. I always check the spark gap first before install. New spark plugs can get knocked around in the box.
