Has to be one of the best instructors on UA-cam. 👍
You're a very good instructor. Especially telling why you do certain procedures
Glad to help, thanks for watching!
This video was perfect. My belt shredded a week ago. I watched this video, purchased the replacement tools, belt, and roller/weight set. I watched the video while completing the replacement/cleaning and came out of it with a working Vespa. Thank you so much!
Beautiful et vespa!
Super helpful thanks I’ve had quite a few motorbikes and changed chains etc but I’ve just bought my first scooter and want to change the belt for piece of mind.
Fantastic video! Very helpful!
Really enjoy watching your videos. Just watched a video on changing a drive belt - I don’t even own a scooter 😀 Nice work and explanation Robot.
This man has learn me soo much.Thank you..
Great video man!🤘🔥🔥🔥
Doing great job working on Vespa Style scooter! Mr. Robot 💯
Thanks! 👍
Thanks for an amazing, succinct video. Robot, you're the best!!
complimenti ottima qualità del video. Compliment very nice quality on video
Great explanation and video Robot!
Thanks very much, tomorrow I will attempt to change the belt on my ET4 engine. 😁
Good luck!
Great Specialist! Thank you!
Thank you for the lesson.
Looking at that boat anchor case id be taking a very good look at the frame underneath they're aweful for rotting out in the UK. Dont seem to have any rust protection. Perfectly good looking scooters are being written off way before their time due to chassis corrosion. Are there any underside metal body panels to your knowledge available anywhere ??
great content!
28:19 "They're shitty, let's get to the point!" Thank you Robot for being The Truth🤣
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Bo Caiden instablaster ;)
When do you change a belt?
Robot: 7,000 miles
Me: When it snaps
Getting the most out of it, we like that!
I could not enjoy my scooter without you. I have learned so much. I have a 2012 LX150ie After changing the belt and rollers I have the noise at idle that the one in this video makes at 22:50 when you rotate the wheel. Opened it up again and have the noise if I push in the clutch shaft but no noise if I pull it out. in/out difference is minimal, maybe 1/8" I wonder if I mixed up a washer somewhere. Any ideas?
Hi Robot, great work on your video's and thanks. Nit picking a bit but specify Pozi (not Philips) screwdrivers on European, or JIS on Japanese components and machines. Keep up the good work and thanks again
I put new belt on my 2007 Piaggio mp3 250IE because 14 yrs old! The belt 2006 stamp on it even got only 003710 miles but belt crack & wear down and the bell housing on clutch blue color mean got very hot? I changes out everything out & rebuild clutch! Mr. Robot
Great video, thanks. There are a couple of questions. Will a 110 (120) 80/10 inch tire come back?
Is the primary shaft of the gearbox from primavera?
And will the 11-inch drive from the LX be on the ET?
Hi thank you for the the video keep the good work.. Rollers can you fit them in any way?? Thanks
Hey Robot. I really enjoy your videos; very informative! A few months ago I bought a used 2006 Vespa LX150 with over 11K miles on it. The dealer said they went through it to be sure everything was up to spec. I ride it almost daily for my 12 mile commute to work. It runs and rides great, except that recently I've noticed a bit of a shudder developing when I take off quickly from a stop. I thought maybe that I was over accelerating. If I accelerate very gently there's no shudder. I know that there is some slippage in a CVT transmission. I do not know if they belt/variator etc. has been recently serviced. Is that something to be worried about, or do I need to start thinking about doing a belt replacement and check out the variator and clutch?
That's your belt, bro. It's worn and not grabbing on the sides; they need to be a certain width to "grab" on the variator- so it's been worn thin. Easy cheap fix, but if your in an inclement weather area, be sure to fix it before winter sets in.
Hey Mr.Robot, I wanted to ask you a question. Why would someone choose a 300cc over a 150cc? I know twice the engine power but if a 150cc can hit 70mph, that's over the speed limit in most places right? You could comfortably keep up with traffic with that speed. How's 300cc not overkill even on long highway trips? Does the 150cc take a while to hit 70 so it's difficulty with over-passing and such? I'm assuming 150cc has better gas mileage as well generally. It seems like a nice middle ground since it seems to be able to handle itself on the highway as well. Would that be a good choice for a first scooter? I don't wanna feel like I may be missing out by not getting the biggest engine lol.
Hi, Just watched your video....very informative and precise. I just purchased a 2005 Vespa Piaggio Vin ZAPC386B. The engine starts and runs well, however, the bike does not move. The prior owner (not sure of his reliability) stated that it needs a new belt. Does that sound like it could be the problem? I haven't taken it apart yet but wanted to know your thoughts off the cuff. Thanks Bob
Hello
I just exchanged belt on my gts300 with your video. Now I am ready to do same on my 2002 ET4. I already ordered those tools to work on gts300. Are they going to work on ET4 as well?
Thank you
I have a Vespa lx50 that is making a sort of rubbing sound that seems to be coming from the clutch. It seems to start when I’m going less that 35km/h and when I slow down. What would you recommend doing?
Great guide robot.
Glad it was helpful!
Just did this service on my black 2009 S150. Very helpful. 😎👍🛵
My belt snapped yesterday while riding. Got a quote from a guy that charges $60 call out fee and $120 an hour, said it would cost about $500 AUD to fix. Seems a lot to me. There is definitely a shortage of moped mechanics where I live in Australia.
can i remove the engine/belt cover for an inspection without causing any damage? is it simple to put back on, or do i need new seals or something like that?
Hi, pleaaase help me, you recommend replacing the flywheel nut, but i cannot for the life of me find out if my lx 125 takes the same size as any other lx or other modern vespa for that matter!
what is the air filter part number for this model?
2:43 is this exactly the same for both pre-leader and leader 125cc vespas ?
Hello.
I look with interest at what you do. I have a question, when I tighten to the prescribed torque (54-60 Nm) the rear wheel almost locks up and stops spinning. Could you tell me why?
thank you very much!
what brand lift elevator you use .... in this video
excellent
how different is it vespa maintainance from liberty 150?
34:48 want to know rubber boot connection.. inlet and outlet..also why it is used
Perfect .....
Why the kick starter is useless?
My engine rides up a lot higher than yours in the video. Maybe time to replace my shocks?
Hi Robot, you are doing relay great work. Can I share the video on Chinese website? I will indicated author and UA-cam address.
How do I remove a stuck clutch
Gear puller tool mate, its like a 3 claw hook with a wind up bolt down the middle
Oddly, I only count TEN screws that hold the case….both on this video and in my ET4
Forgot to add its a LX50...
I keep counting 10 bolts not 11...
My freands can i give one of motorcycle vespa 150cc i like that motorcycle but i have no money to buy so very expensive 🤩
Öldeckel drauf☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻
japan scooters is really much more times better at all!!! i have no idea how vespa is still alive...
parts are more expensive, parts are lower quality, repairing is more difficult etc...
Amazing! 😮
