We finally know what NERF N-SERIES Looks like...

- New NERF Darts and Blasters are coming soon, and the N-Series with the New N1 Darts look pretty familiar... too bad people already have their hands on them and yet we can't find an actual announcement or press release anywhere! Featuring what looks to be the same type of, "Dart DRM" that the NERF Ultra Series used, the N1 Series has the same promises on the box: increased accuracy and distance. Does it deliver? Allegedly it does, but until we get more testing in there's no way to tell... because we've been burned before. The Sprinter and Agility have popped up, so it's only a matter of time until we get these in store shelves and in hands.

33 Minutes of rambling cut down to 8. Some videos got pushed back, but we have some fun stuff on the horizon; it's been so long since we've done a video like this.
This will ether be extremely good or god awful
release the ramble cut
ok
It’s pretty bad when the name brand is producing mediocre products and the “offbrand is making products that outperform the name brands and for a fraction of the the price tag
This stuff is 3 months from an Ollie's shelf from day 1...
Ok.... apparently, Nerf haven't learned from their Ultra series.........
or hyper
Hasbro are still selling Nerf products and seemingly doing well, despite all the supposedly knowledgeable naysayers predicting their demise for several years. It begs the question... are Hasbro as daft as a relatively small bunch of very vocal, absolutely fanatical and far too serious foam flingers think they are? 😂 But seriously, WalcomS7 and much of his audience are not the target market for Nerf branded foam blasters, even the slightly higher performance ones like Ultra.
@@another3997 the ultra line did terrible though, that’s the point. The problems with ultra, which will be the problem with these, is that they have proprietary ammo. That problem will affect average random kids even more that it will people worried about performance.
Because they only care about kids
@@Thisispilot making random proprietary ammo types means kids can’t use the ammo they probably have the most of. Kids can understand that, this is still a bad idea for them.
Looks like a knock off of good nerf, but the knock off company wanted to make a proprietary dart
Everyone thinking it was going to be short darts.
Hasbruh, c'mon!
1/2 lengths will be the last dart they make - there's nowhere to go from there with a dart.
Huh my 2 hasbro based fanbases I’m in share hasbruh as a name huh
@@richbuilds_com nerf already made short dart blasters with the stryfe X
I'm glad hasbruh is eliminating elite 2.0 but cmon another new ammo type just go to half darts
I disagree completely, the Motoblitz and Double Punch were putting them back on track
@@eggbag4182agreed
Shh! they might hear and decide to make double-length darts or something.
@@eggbag4182 Both blasters would be infinitely better as short dart shooters
@@WalcomS7 Oh yeah didn’t see that part of the comment
My brain hurts thinking about what nerf is thinking 😂😂
Bro for real. Like why can’t hasbro just do the good stuff like what dart zone is doing
The man, the myth, the legend and very true.
@@zacc4465 I agree, exactly 👍

They used to be amazing with releases like the roughcut and the rapidstrike, now we have....this....
The real problem is that Hasbro doesn't want to make toys anymore. They want to push for video games. At least that's what their current CEO Chris "this idiot" Cocks' vision for company is. His background comes from video games primarily from Microsoft. He has cost the company net loses year after year by forcing a toy company to not actually produce toys among other things.
It's very fitting that his last name is Cocks considering how many he has in his mouth.
Did Hasbro accidentally fire their marketing team in their latest round of layoffs?
"accidentally"
@@russelldoty2743 When you fire your designers, engineers, testers and the QA department, marketing is the one department you really shouldn't lose.
They fired everyone that wasn't specifically making them Shitloads Of Money.
That would have been a good thing for a change...
As a space nerd, calling the darts N-1 is only an omen of what they will be like (not very reliable)
Oh boy! A new ammo type, this dart looks efficient at running their company even further into the ground
Your Honor my Client Hasbro only texted "N" in the chatt, what happent after that was out of my clients controll.
I have no control over what anyone else comments
6:17 are we NOT gonna talk about this?
*_B A L L S_*
Aside from the DRM darts coming back as if we forgot the first time I don't understand why these blasters were clearly made to look like Buzzbee blasters on purpose.
To save money on paint, presumably...
Ultra: "I should be dead. But I'm not."
Hi mike, good luck with Afton v 233 lol
Because all of the other proprietary ammo types Hasbro have released within the past five years were so successful!
Quick aside, the whole “putting ammo capacity on the blaster and not just the mag” isn’t a new thing, Nerf has been doing it as long as I can remember. I remember back when their naming convention was the name, followed up by its power source, and then the capacity it can load or in the cases of the clip system blasters, the size of the magazines that come with it
A yes, another example of Planned Obsolescence, this time in dart form.
Nerf is going back to their vintage days, where everything was multicolored and dart ammo was extremely restrictive to each blaster.
Even the mag counter printed in the blaster, that kind of screwup reminded me of the blaster with a hidden surprise attack barrel in the handle, but that had a massive sticker that read "Secret Shot"
That ending statement is really telling of Hasbro. I wanna know where the engineers that were cranking out cool rival blasters went. That’s the last time I cared about anything nerf
They were all fired.
I'm extremely pessimistic. They invent a new ammo type and abandon it the next year. Hyper and ultra had huge problems out of the gate, and I didn't see why this would be any different
ngl i kinda love the bullpup one, it looks like an upgraded rayven and looks absurdly comfortable, i kinda hope that its good solely so i don't feel bad for liking it and wanting it
edit: also i think the reasons for the simple, more angular designs that look extremely smooth and comfortable, is to keep prices down as compared to the overdesigned annoyingly greebled detailed blasters of elite 2.0 and ultra, which costed way too much despite being annoying and uncomfortable
the style is probably them trying to combat buzz bee
Boomco and buzzbee failed when they tried to make blasters that weren’t compatible with the standard hasbro 50 cal dart. Now hasbro is making blasters that are not compatible with the standard hasbro 50 cal dart. Just whyyyyyyyyyyy.
I feel like if BoomCo has come out 5-10 years earlier it might’ve lasted longer. Elite dart analogues were just far too dominant IIRC
@@mechanwhal6590 yeah. It’s more so that a standard was created and not following that standard would impede potential business. It’s like making a headphone with proprietary connectors, or idk a guitar that can only use certain strings or something. When a near ubiquitous infrastructure is set, deviating can be a bad idea. It’s ironic that after boomco, and buzzbee seemingly giving up on shells, hasbro is now seemingly releasing a new proprietary ammo type every year or two.
Love the Runescape music playing in the background
Had to rewatch parts of the video because I was jamming out to the whistle in the Falador music and forgot to pay attention.
7:01 well I hate to sound like a nerd but the Rapidstrike and several others had their original capacity on them (Rapidstrike CS-18, Stampede CS-50 (supposed to be the 50 round drum originally), Recon CS-6, etc.) so it’s not new, but I agree that it’s weird that it says it’s only capacity is 16
Not going to lie, gonna pickup a sprinter and rechamber for short darts
Love the shell
The bullpup one gives me heavy Raven vibes. Hopefully it's a worthy successor despite the proprietary ammo.
I'll put my bet on: Ultra + original Elite 2.0, aka problematic ammo with non-serviceable internals.
An influencer gave the Sprinter to a woman named Victoria, whose kids tried it out. Neither of them appear to be in the hobby. I’ve messaged them both for a short video but no reply yet.
The x16 on the sprinter reminds me of Hasbro's old naming convention on blasters like the Longshot cs-6 and Raider cs-35 having the 'clip' size in the name, but they dropped that when we had more magazine types available. So the x16 makes no sense to have unless we aren't getting many other magazines from N-series for a while...
Me in spring hearing about N-series: Damn, maybe hasbro can get back on track! Can't wait for my exams to finish and start having fun!
Now hearing about N series:
I might be gaslighting myself but I do recall nearly all of my nstrike line blasters had a number matching the mag it came with. this x16 is largely different in that regard but at least doesnt seem all that much of a big deal compared to the other points
Oh boy, yet another proprietary ammo type that they'll drop in 1 to 2 years!
The blasters look like a mix of Alpha Strike and Ultra😂.
@@Jules279 Alpha Strike quality, Ultra caliber? Seems like a great combination, Hasbruh.
@@Green24152 knowing modern hasbro it’s just ultra caliber
My biggest problem with the “its made for kids argument” is that it implies kids dont deserve quality. Okay so you want kids to grow up equating low effort with high quality?
An even bigger problem is that adults buy these. Sure, kids play with them, but the adults buy them. If they can get a product that’s worth its salt, then that benefits them and the kid, but if they get a bad product that isn’t worth its salt and is designed to rip them off, the kids getting a worse experience and the adult who is spending their money is getting screwed over.
@@TeenWithACarrotIDK exactly! No one wins!
Gonna wait and see here. Rival got me back into Nerf. Mega was fun. Vortex was fun for different reasons.Ultra offended me. Hyper was a letdown. I loved Mega XL but I feel like I'm one of a very few voices shouting into the void on that one. Gonna be interesting to see these.
Bro walcom your like the new coop772
Sis, look! Yet Another ammo type that Hasbro Will try to make us buy even with the fact that we have no Idea If It Will even last a year on shelfs!
"Hey guys, I know how we're gonna beat Dart Zone. Another ammo type!" Nerf exec
That Sprinter looks suspiciously similar to a rechambered Ryven.
I bet Hasbro's going to see tons of jammed N-Series blasters returned because kids tried loading them with Elite darts.
Bet I’ll find them in Goodwill😆
You'll learn a valuable lesson. You wouldn't load the wrong caliber in a firearm before using it, would you?
@@robertbrunello When a kid comes running in complaining that their new blaster isn't working the average consumer isn't gong to think wrong ammo type. They're going to conclude that the thing's broken.
I love dragon darts! The tips can become loose faster than normal darts but the performance is the best. I just noticed it doesn't work well with particular blasters.
Nerf has demonstrated a lack of concern for adult foam flingers, focusing solely on children's toys. This has been consistently proven over time.
Thank God for brands like dart zone, worker, zwq,
For the love of god, Nerf is just getting worse. I'm glad to stick with Rival, Dart Zone, and Adventure Force
ngl the sprinter blaster looks fire, maybe the colors are a little weird, but i like the design.
How nerf can make money put out affordable nice dart blasters triple down on RIVAL put out pro line for rival.drum mags,re release old rare rival blasters with new skins
Nawww the nerf ultra 2.0 💀💀💀
Nerf elite 2.0
When nerf rival 2.0 and nerf mega 2.0
My big wish for ultra-foam type darts remains a double-stack double-feed magazine, whether the darts are ultras or .50 cal darts
I think Hasbro for sure has just embraced that their product are for kids and kids only lol.
Thank goodness for dart zone.
Nerf never stop 'nerfing' themselves. Amazing job, Hasbro
Am I wrong if I say it looks like the sprinter would be a knightmare or even impossible to mod. Because the flywheel cage looks like it'll be integrated into the shell of the blaster. You might have to replace the enter orange section of the blaster to do anything with it.
I miss when at least the nerf blasters had nice design to compensate
the color schemes are horrendous, why can't they just do red/blue/yellow/orange blasters?
To me I couldn’t care about the ammo if it was more accurate ( which we all know is not gonna be) but what bothers me the most is how plain the blasters looks, it looks like they don’t even have rails on it.
"Why does the blaster have the capacity on it?" To be fair, N-Strike did too. Recon CS-10 etc. Not exactly the same thing (it's not called the Sprinter X16 as far as I can tell) but there's history of it happening all the same
hey i hear boomco darts are amazing... there are so good there is no way these blasters will fade away :(
To be honest, this is a new foam line series from Nerf.
And yes, elite is a goner. The elite era is over the new generation of blaster is born, we’re now entering the new era.
And era that’s N-series
ULTRA WAS 5 YEARS AGO!?!?! time flies...
Runescape Music !!!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A REVEAL, Also side question, when did you get into nerf?
For the algorithm. I'll let you know what I think soon
Elite 2.0 was like a budget line
I wonder what was the Pitch Meeting for this new N-Series
Plz make a video on the nerf watch so curious for the fps
I did. You'll see it soon, that video was going to be today but got pushed back. It'll either be Friday or Monday.
Thanks Walcom for letting me know
N1 dart more like N1 Naboo starfighter
We are being thoroughly had. 🙁🙁🙁🙁
Why put out this trash, nerf never learns!
i miss the outdoor shooting demos...
If the sprinter could take other dart types, I'd consider it as an upgradable primary. My motoblitz is great, but it never really felt compact enough without taking off the best part of it, the airblaster.
As a card carrying member of the Bullpup Brigade, I will get the Sprinter. After that the N1 dart has to be the second coming of the short dart to get any more of my money.
So this is ultra 2.0…. I shall hold my judgment until I get my hands on it. But my expectations are low.
These things look like alien guns, and not in a good way.
Agreed
I don't want more ammo types
Will be waiting for these to be shelf warmers here in the Philippines...
Release the director's cut!
It always seemed to me NERF in part kept making inaccurate darts that fly all over the place because it's silly fun for kids not knowing if they'll actually hit anything (anyone) but when you do it's an accomplishment. I personally felt AccuStrike are more accurate than Waffle head darts.
BRING OUTRO SONG BACK
walcom in this video: yeah im not sure about this like....
walcom in his N1 review: holy hell this so cool thats like 10/10
hey walcom can you pls give the ogre a massive spring upgrade and shoot 9 darts at a time
I don't have any springs right now that are an upgrade for it. Maybe in the future.
@@WalcomS7 thanks
Nerf Ultra Darts were‘nt actually the Problem at nerf Ultra because they performed good and i Like the blaster but,ANOTHER ONE OF THESE?! COME ON HASBRO DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR ONCE
You forgot Vortex! (Aswell as those foam cars I forgot the name of)
Nitro were the cars
@@yellowprime8491 there it is!
My god why does everyone think this is going to be bad? I was literally at the conference, and the accuracy increase is way more. PLEASE STOP HATING FFS
If LEGO change the brick size and shape every time like NERF, we will stop buying it.
Nope
it's time to 3d print nerf darts! you can even make them SCAR themselves!!!
The only good nerfs lines were zombiestrike, n strike elite, rival, mega and the MEGA XL. The rest is pretty horse shit. Rest in peace hasbro. Now we Have worst blasters reshells from blaster that were great from the pass like the strong arm and now they selling you a strongarm WITH PROPRIETARY CRAP DARTS. Why buy any agility nerf when pretty much anything from N strike elite with waffle heads are straight up superior
"Power" isn't necessarily the thing that nerf is known for. IF nerf maintains its average of 70-80 FPS for regular darts, the power is just fine as far as selling to the average person is concerned. Nerf should probably make more MegaXL, Mega, and short dart blasters. Cautious optimism is more than understandable here; It's basically required, given nerf's history with this kind of thing AND recent statements about the company cutting costs (again).
What the??? So they are going to make a bullpup blaster but in N-1 darts and not making more bullpups for full length darts??? You have got to be kidding me. I know the motoblitz exists but I wish a rayven was remade again maybe better. (which will probably never happen with nerf). Maybe dart zone will make bullpups to compete with xshot
They just need to bring back nerf elite with minor upgrades. That would be better than all this other crap. It seems Nerf is giving up the older kid market and just advertising for toddlers. Elite was so good because it was the perfect combo of cool for all ages. I know when I was 8-10 I’d play spies and pretty much all I cared about was esthetics. I didn’t like Zombie strike because I thought the color scheme didn’t look “cool” lol. Now it kills me bc I wish I had gotten the sling fire/sledge fire when they were available.😂 I know I would have been super disappointed if all I could have gotten my hands on was NERFS new💩
My point is when I was the age NERF is marketing too now I wouldn’t be excited for any of this stuff
Loving the chronomark bro. How did you like Starfield?
I'm betting it's proprietary mags and darts for these blasters. Hence the x16 on the blaster. All your old darts AND mags are useless with this line.
Jeezis, the Sprinter looks like a cheap gas station isle knock off. Even Adventure Force has a better aesthetic. Oy veh
The color scheme just seems off. As in off brand. The colors just look and remind me of cheap or off brand nerf blasters. Nerf usually uses “professional” looking colors. Like white, black, and gold for ultra, or blue and white for elite, and even the elite 2.0 has an amazing color scheme. But the new blasters look cheap. They just look like buzzbee
The one thing that apparently only affects me with Adventure Force waffleheads, since no one else seems to be talking about it, is that mag fed springers absolutely hate them, and I only use stock blasters. For whatever reason, whenever I try to use Adventure Force waffleheads in a mag fed springer, they jam constantly, ruin the darts, and only occasionally actually feed and fire them properly. They do this in every single mag-fed springer I own, which means I have to rely on my slowly depleting stockpile of old Men-Gun darts for them, and I don't know what I'm gonna do once I run out, since I can't find them online anymore. Have any of you had similar issues with Adventure Force\ waffleheads?
Nerf could be milking money by keeping 4 lines, rival, n strike elite the original, mega and mega XL and make Substitute lines who use the same projectiles. All these lines are loved and have a purpose. Stupid proprietary junk doesnt
Nerf did the dart amount on blasters way back with n strake but no complaints about that. For example the nerf Longshot cs 6. That's such a weird thing to complain about. It's like you're just doing it because it's nerf.
never getting my hopes up again. the n series line is just gonna be the same blasters hasbro always pumps out (a stryfe clone, a 6 shot front loading revolver, a 4 shot smart ar, etc.) again but this time you need to get YET ANOTHER ammo type.
do the hasbro execs have a humiliation kink or something? cus this is utterly pathetic and embarrassing.
Nerf's new strategy is to make new ammo types before the knock offs come out lmaooo, they should just make mega XL and Mega +14 blasters like Dart Zone does
Just continue with rival and Elite, and Pro, like, come on, you won’t be able to compete by making random new nonsense
Ultra darts are NOT "more durable" - you step on one and it's crushed and will not be springing back to its shape.
Oh and they're hated for being so expensive per - dart.
So just bare with... Politically, the idea is to always be original and produce whatever idea that is original to be part of the cool 1% top people in whatever category of job you have. Do not know where this ideology came from but across the board that is what is taught now. Thank goodness to the foam dart gods some companies actually stay the course of making the adventure force line, supporting the mod community, and much like yourself speaking out against the insanity of why? New is not better anymore, better is better if it can be better, will be better, and IS BETTER. Agree on the wheel and no crime in wanting to make money, but can they do "b e t t e r"
All your old "standard" darts won't suddenly become useless. They will continue to work in all your old blasters. Even if Hasbro completely stop making compatible products, you'll still be able to buy the older blasters and standard darts for years, until existing stocks run out. Those people that haven't been involved in the Nerf market before, simply won't care if their first experience is with the new style darts. And the vast majority of people who already own Nerf blasters, probably only have a couple of them and a few dozen darts, and they won't care if the new stuff is different. Hasbro know this, and they want to sell to the masses, not the classes.
It's frustrating to see a once beloved company sit back and gladly pump out plastic crap. They don't even try to support their blaster lines, so why should I pay more than $5/piece at goodwill? If I want one at all?
So Nerf (Hasbro) will release 1 half length dart blaster and go back to selling unique ammo for their own blasters...
Who the phuck us working at Hasbro Nerf? Whoever is on their development department needs to be let go of, immediately! Or stop buying nerf products in general! We have options now!
