OMG! That's the same wagon my family took vacations to Edisto Beach in back in the 70's. My pop still owns it, LOL. To think my dad might be an assassin on the side.
That tool she bought was a tire iron/spoon. Its used to take the tire off the rim of motorcycle wheels. The Longer they are the more leverage you have.
Excellent review of a cult classic, supercycles, 80s science, Heather Thomas, and Dar Robinson, whom I first heard of in a ABC TV tribute special back then without knowing at the time who he was. I wrote all about this in an Agony Booth forum years ago so I won't go repeating myself too much. I'll just say GBF that you earned yourself a Mandatory Cykill Reference.
Supercycle, synth soundtrack, and sappy star makes this flick a whole hell of a lot like Street Hawk! Not to mention the helmet basically had the same features of SH's too. Also, Cylone filmed in a lot of the exact same industrial areas close to downtown Los Angeles.
Thanks. I wonder if you've ever heard of a movie called "Warrior of the Lost World." It's another one with a souped-up motorcycle. It's from 1983, directed by David Worth, and stars Robert Ginty, Persis Khambatta, & Donald Pleasance. If you haven't done a review of it already (here in 2020), it might be fun. tavi.
Dar Robinson was a fucking legend! I remember watching a primetime special on ABC about him. And I just found out you can watch the entire season of Street Hawk on Shout Factory!
I ordered a movie 4-pack from Amazon about a month ago featuring "Eye of the Tiger," "Alienator," "Exterminator 2," and this. This was the film I was least interested in watching. Now, though, I'm totally pumped to watch this schlock!
See this on cable way back when and... even more cheesy then I remember. So now I watch Kamen Rider... less cheese but with motorbikes, endo-suits, and monsters. Henshin!
Review Suggestion: Movie Title: Bog......Year 1978. If you have not seen this cheesy horror flick, I know you will love it. Bog is right up your alley. I am positive you will dissect the hell out of it.
+Spanjop Wrong scene, trust me not making fun of blind people, I was referencing a Quincy scene cut in that genius review. It was always referenced on Opie & Anthony a radio show that me & Cecil enjoy, hence the easter eggs he slides into his amazing videos.
1:44 That's so true LOL. 5:03 ROFL! 11:17 I love that scene Heather is a real baddass and has a fine everything else too LOL. Solid review Cecil I remember catching this a lot on HBO as a kid I got the chance to revisit it as about 2 years ago and I still have a great time with it I got my hands the 4 pack that shout factory put out with this film also''Exterminator 2'',''Eye of the Tiger''&''Alienator''(I haven't seen that one yet but it looks lame IMO). BTW Street Hawk&Knight Rider along with the A-Team was my favorite action tv shows growing up.
Unfortunately not but it at least comes with 3 other cool films (2 movies per DVD) and the quality is the best they've ever seen. (all 4 were previously VHS only)
OH MY GOD! I just noticed something!!! about your "Mister Googlie Eyes"! The tie dye t-shirt he's wearing. The color scheme & pattern looked familiar to me, because it's colors were red, orange, yellow & black. It looks like fire. They were mass produced as a Motley Crue t-shirt, that I had, that same year, 1987. It's a really evil looking shirt. It looks like it's on fire and it has a pentagram with bat wings in the center of the chest. (I wore this t-shirt to catholic church one time, to protect me, and ward off bullshit) I ran the video back and I noticed that you couldn't see that, on his chest. So I immediately thought: "He must be wearing it backwards." The scarf around his neck was probably to disguise the irregular fit look of wearing it backwards. In the next scene, It shows him from the back and I can see the pentagram!!! I thought that was pretty exciting! They probably just used that in a pinch, borrowed it from somebody on the crew, or something to make him look more "hippie like". Check it out! I would upload a picture of mine here, if I could.
Just a thought. With the recent passing of Paul Walker how about a flick from his body of work? He's got alot of 'bad' movies that's worth checking out. Personally I liked The Life and Death of Bobby Z & Into the Blue as good bad movies from him.
I'd like to but right now with Christmas and January, I'm locked. I'll do something for him next year. (also, while I know it would get me more hits, I really don't want to capitalize on the guy's death)
An 80's movie were the female protagonist is captured by the bad guys but not sexually abused and it turns out had they just done that, they would have found the very thing they were looking for! The damn transformer :D
Not guy in a wig, but stunt woman with different hair called Shanna Lynn..She worked on movies like W.A.R.: Women Against Rape and Hell Comes to Frogtown..
Another awesome review.... I bet that if they did that stunt of the car over the bridge now days...it would have been a terrible CGI scene ... Good thing we have these so called B movies to show how it's done!
I love the channel, and appreciate what you do. I mostly love schlock, and grew up watching Joe Bob on tv. Like Joe Bob says though, you have to be able to tell good bad from bad bad... like anything from Troma is garbage (except Toxic Avenger, which is the exception that proves the rule) and pretty much anything from Fred Olen Ray is not worth the vhs tape they used to print it. I get nostalgia, and if this does it for you, go for it. But this is not a good bad flick. It's a bad bad flick, that you might still enjoy for what it is (granted: an attractive woman riding a motorcycle with rocket launchers). If you're in the mood for it, you do you! But, for the record, this one is hot garbage, only for Heather Thomas or Jeffrey Combs completists. ;)
I'm looking for a movie I saw on TV at night when i was about 6-8 years old. All I can remember is an action movie with dirt bikes and green glow sticks in it.... lol I'm sure that's all the details you need to figure this out. Plz guys! I've looked for so long with no luck. :( HELP ME!
That random piece of metal is an actual tool. It is a tire spoon. And the mid 1970s Oldsmobile station wagon had a long block 350. It could easily keep up with a motorcycle like that.
I would like to say that Cyclone has problems with the plot; realisticness and logic often fly out the window. Even acting in general was wooden. Yet, it was fast-paced, and good actions. Entertaining. A good time-waster in my opinion.
off topic..whats the name of the movie where theirs this teen couple i guess and these lil bad ass creatures that splt into anther creature when u try to kill them?its an 80's flick i think.its been haunting me for months and nobody remembers it..lol
Good afternoon from Tokyo. This film has many senseless twists and pointless scenes, from my point of view. If I were the screen writer of this film, I would have the story like this: Terri's boyfriend get abducted by Bosarian in order to obtain the "transformer." Bosarian wants to sell it to KGB agents, thus trying to make big money via treason. And, Terri rescues her boyfriend, and combats Bosarian and his lieutenants with Cyclone. In other words, it could have been a "high-tech" armed-motorcycle version of COMMANDO.
I do get a lot of requests for it and I'm sure I'll do it eventually. It is a terrible film in all the right ways like Birdemic and The Wicker Man remake.
"...other times, I wanna watch a hot blonde drive a motorcycle with rocket launchers." Priceless lol
OMG! That's the same wagon my family took vacations to Edisto Beach in back in the 70's. My pop still owns it, LOL. To think my dad might be an assassin on the side.
I love the Michelob reference. Those were the best commercials and blended perfectly when paired with Miami Vice.
I was hoping you were gonna make a Street Hawk reference and then right at the end, bam! There it was. Thanks, man.
That tool she bought was a tire iron/spoon. Its used to take the tire off the rim of motorcycle wheels. The Longer they are the more leverage you have.
NMBE 650
Is that what she said?
7:09 one of the best deaths I've ever seen.
Fred Olen Ray and the word "continuity" should never be used in the same sentence.
Thanks!
Holy Fuck! That Michelob commercial bit was perfect!
I'm dying now. Thanks!
:)
that random piece of metal if for removing and putting tires back on the wheel
Supercycle, synth soundtrack, and sappy star makes this flick a whole hell of a lot like Street Hawk! Not to mention the helmet basically had the same features of SH's too. Also, Cylone filmed in a lot of the exact same industrial areas close to downtown Los Angeles.
a ton of shows were filmed in that area back then.
Street Hawk is grand, I gotta pick up the DVDs.
Thanks. I wonder if you've ever heard of a movie called "Warrior of the Lost World." It's another one with a souped-up motorcycle. It's from 1983, directed by David Worth, and stars Robert Ginty, Persis Khambatta, & Donald Pleasance. If you haven't done a review of it already (here in 2020), it might be fun. tavi.
MST3K introduced me to that one
Dar Robinson was a fucking legend! I remember watching a primetime special on ABC about him. And I just found out you can watch the entire season of Street Hawk on Shout Factory!
I loved her in The Fall Guy and Zapped!
Jeffery Combs shoulda' been a bigger star.
Amen!!!
Sadly, he isn't handsome enough for Hollywood to consider him a leading man.
I like how almost none of the armor on the bike is devoted to protecting the rider.
Henshin!
Its the natural evolution lol
I miss watching this movie on Saturday/Sunday afternoon TV!
The man, the machine....Street hawk
5:09 Troy Donahue's costume for this film is peak 80s.
That end quote was pure gold.
Review Suggestion: Movie Title: Bog......Year 1978.
If you have not seen this cheesy horror flick, I know you will love it. Bog is right up your alley. I am positive you will dissect the hell out of it.
I'll check it out
That Michelob joke though.
I know it's a very old video but that random piece of metal at 2:10 is a tyre iron for taking tyres off motorcycle rims
Love b movies and anything with Jeffery combs, lance Hendrickson, Tony Todd, Doug Bradley, and Robert Englund in it.
Street Hawk was a cool tv show
4:17 Is that LEGO??? Awesome build quality!
Maybe knockoff LEGO, it doesn’t say LEGO on the studs
A movie called Cyclone about a super bike. What's missing is an awesome belt that transforms its user into a karate bugman.
cyclone would have been better as a late 80's TV series
see: Street Hawk
lol the O&A Quicy scene they always talk about.
BTW 3:22 - look at his glasses, he's clearelly blind, don't be so hard on him)
+Spanjop Wrong scene, trust me not making fun of blind people, I was referencing a Quincy scene cut in that genius review. It was always referenced on Opie & Anthony a radio show that me & Cecil enjoy, hence the easter eggs he slides into his amazing videos.
Rob 56 Oh, my and youtube's bad. I did push "Reply" button on GoodBadFlicks's comment, but it didn't work, sorry)
I remember in college I had a poster in my dorm room of Heather Thomas in a blue bikini.
Wasn't Cyclone a bike from Robotech: The New Generation?
Yes
after midnight great song
can only get an errection quoting Einstein, lol 80 movies were awesome
Nudity is never random. Nudity arrives precisely when it means to.
Are those Legos at 4:19? What the hell is that bake made out of!?! Legos apparently.
not random steel. Its used for putting a tire on a rim.
1:44 That's so true LOL.
5:03 ROFL!
11:17 I love that scene Heather is a real baddass and has a fine everything else too LOL.

That 4 pack DVD is worth every penny
trachenburg
Do you have it? If you don't then go get it ASAP!
got it a while ago :)
Wow! you mentioned commando squad, I haven't seen that in ages.
Wow I didn't expect you'd cover this not even if the planets aligned, but thanks great job.
still one of the more odd ones I've done
This movie looks awesome, worth owning for sure. This almost seemed like it could have been an x-files episode with all the corruption.
you can get it in a 4 pack DVD for super cheap
That's awesome, there is no directors cut with commentary?
Unfortunately not but it at least comes with 3 other cool films (2 movies per DVD) and the quality is the best they've ever seen. (all 4 were previously VHS only)
Ok I will seek it out thanks for the recommendation.
i can't believe i ever missed this
JEFFREY COOMBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another awesome show Cecil
Thank you!
this needs a reboot
I love how the dude that got hit with the lasers suddenly got a foot taller.
OH MY GOD!
I just noticed something!!!
about your
"Mister Googlie Eyes"!
The tie dye t-shirt he's wearing. The color scheme & pattern looked familiar to me, because it's colors were red, orange, yellow & black. It looks like fire. They were mass produced as a Motley Crue t-shirt, that I had, that same year, 1987.

There was a Lego on the control panel of the Cyclone!
I got a question!! What is "Scalps" about!? I love cheesy old boxArt and that just looked too sweet to pass by!!!
a bunch of college kids go poking around an indian burial ground. One of them gets possessed and goes about scalping his friends
trachenburg Sound insensitive as Hell! So, awesome!
Please do 'The Lift' it is right up your alley, mate. Great video. Subbed.
Had to wait until the very end for the Street Hawk reference.
oldboy is a great fucking movie
It's basically Street Hawk.
Just a thought. With the recent passing of Paul Walker how about a flick from his body of work? He's got alot of 'bad' movies that's worth checking out. Personally I liked The Life and Death of Bobby Z & Into the Blue as good bad movies from him.

trachenburg Ahhh. Well said. Well said.
An 80's movie were the female protagonist is captured by the bad guys but not sexually abused and it turns out had they just done that, they would have found the very thing they were looking for! The damn transformer :D
Combs Club checking in!
Not guy in a wig, but stunt woman with different hair called Shanna Lynn..She worked on movies like W.A.R.: Women Against Rape and Hell Comes to Frogtown..
Michael Regan is the adopted son of Ronald Regan and is political commenter, this is one of the few movies he did.
Simple but fun.
you're so awesomely funny!!.. keep em coming!!
Yes is funny and funny video I seen for well
Another awesome review.... I bet that if they did that stunt of the car over the bridge now days...it would have been a terrible CGI scene ... Good thing we have these so called B movies to show how it's done!
I'm pretty sure I saw Russ Tamblyn in there as well. But he's not credited
On the set of Future Cop
I love the channel, and appreciate what you do. I mostly love schlock, and grew up watching Joe Bob on tv.

Another awesome review.
Many thanks!
4:19 is that a Lego piece in the middle?
video starts
hey look gamera guardian of the universe
no mention of Streethawk...?
Thank you for this review
Was the Cyclone’s controls made out of legos?
4:18 are those legos ?
What you said... Sums it up for how I feel about movies! You beautiful FUCK!
You would think assassins would have some fast that wagon could be beat a 6 cylinder suburban.
If Heather was shown in a bikini on the poster they would have made millions.
Wow, that sunt-man didn't have a nice death...
yo! heather thomas!
You should check out Fred Olen Ray's Scalps. Horror Cheese fest with an outstanding score.
byron herrera on the list!
Awesome! Great to hear!
I'm looking for a movie I saw on TV at night when i was about 6-8 years old. All I can remember is an action movie with dirt bikes and green glow sticks in it.... lol I'm sure that's all the details you need to figure this out. Plz guys! I've looked for so long with no luck. :(
HELP ME!
BMX Bandits?
I just checked and sadly no. Very cool of you to try tho.
Hero was adult male and the bike was motocross not BMX.
TY
"Knightriders" with Tom Savini & Ed Harris??? Where they're jousting on dirt bikes & stuff.
TRON? AUTOMAN? STREETHAWK?
The Hills Have Eyes 2 ??
That random piece of metal is an actual tool. It is a tire spoon. And the mid 1970s Oldsmobile station wagon had a long block 350. It could easily keep up with a motorcycle like that.
How many '80 references can you fit into one clip?
Cinemax still play soft-core porn, but they're TV shows.
not for too much longer. They recently announced they are rebranding and getting rid of all the racy content
This is like uhmm...What was that Chuck Norris movie with the motorcycle rigged with rockets? Delta force?
Viserion? As in Daenerys's dragon?
Those jeans are very tight. Just an observation.
I it wrong to be a Heather Thomas fan ?
Ya, but where was the rollercoaster?
This is one of those movies where I wish the woman was in leather. It would have made her more hardcore in appearance.
I would like to say that Cyclone has problems with the plot; realisticness and logic often fly out the window. Even acting in general was wooden. Yet, it was fast-paced, and good actions. Entertaining. A good time-waster in my opinion.
sugestion "Vertical Limit" :)
I saw that in the theater. What a riot. I'm sure I could have a lot of fun with that
trachenburg it's one those films I can always watch, like "Deep Blue Sea" or "Triple X" aka "xXx" and have fun with.
how about garbage pail kids Cecil
off topic..whats the name of the movie where theirs this teen couple i guess and these lil bad ass creatures that splt into anther creature when u try to kill them?its an 80's flick i think.its been haunting me for months and nobody remembers it..lol
That sounds like The Gate?
naw not the gate...i love that flick..its set in a small town like always.there like lil animals and they talk a lot of shit.
lol..none of those..when i came remember more detail we shall try this again.thanks C
No problem, let me know if you think of more or if you figure it out!
uhh yeah..not figured out yet.lol
Teri needed a better costume. This movie just screams low budget superhero-like Black Scorpion or The Demolitionist.
Good afternoon from Tokyo. This film has many senseless twists and pointless scenes, from my point of view. If I were the screen writer of this film, I would have the story like this: Terri's boyfriend get abducted by Bosarian in order to obtain the "transformer." In other words, it could have been a "high-tech" armed-motorcycle version of COMMANDO.
Hi over there in Tokyo. I do hope to visit there some day. I think all of those problems would have been addressed if they had a bigger budget.
I was just expressing my personal wish.
Review "The Room".
I'll keep it in mind
trachenburg I know it's a different genre from the films you usually review. But i just wanted to hear your opinion. It's a great terrible film.
I do get a lot of requests for it and I'm sure I'll do it eventually. It is a terrible film in all the right ways like Birdemic and The Wicker Man remake.
This movies just weird... but in a good way ha.
indeed
