Good evening Courtney! I love your raised bed. What variety of pea? Radish are very good cover crops. I really enjoy pickled radish. I grew cabbage a few years back but that was for the first time. I grew it in the greenhouse but the slugs came after them. I really like that tent. I want to grow peas I had purchased bad soil and peas didn’t even grow. I was so frustrated. I hope you have a blessed week! Wendy❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸
Sorry UA-cam held my comments for some reason.. I like the Lincoln Peas. Work on your soil and the peas will come. Thanks for being a member and good luck this growing season!
Good luck with all the peas, there’s lots there😊 No onions, I,m guessing it’s the space it takes, but if you have edges around the beds you maybe able to squeeze some in…😊
We're in Indiana zone 5a and still a little gun shy on planning outside. I've got 72 seedlings sprouting in seed blocks but they're in an inside greenhouse. Our outside greenhouse isn't heated so plants don't get moved out there till mid-April. We've had killing frosts in early May. That's not typical but I can't risk freezing all these seedlings started the first of March! We're planting sugar snap peas this year - a new one for us. Can they handle a freeze? Love your garden layout! We're dearly love to find 2-3 acres but sellers must think there's gold in the soil - prices are 6 times more than they were 3-4 years ago. We do the best we can on a half acre. Thank you!
I learned from MiGardener channel about cabbage issues. One is that they actually like a more compacted soil, not light and fluffy. Hes very informative!
I oplant the same way. Sprinkle them heavy together. They seem happy bunched together. Ive never soaked peas because it is so wet this time of the year in my area but Im sure it is helpful in other areas
Please hit the thumbs up 👍
