Shame there isn't any special text from the NPCs after defeating them or meeting them...it'd be pretty funny to hear them say something directly after that.
No s... even from the bunny amulet. That means it's really a good idea to use the amulet to avoid minor damage, because as soon as you get hit, it becomes useless until the debuff wears off.

Ribbon SPECIAL and Ashuri SPECIAL has interesting cutscenes afterwards.

Well I got the fights...only beat Ribbon so far.
It seems that using healing items are allowed in Cocoa fight...sweet ^^
