    It is very good to see You posting Your progress with the development with Your newer RX-7 drag&drive racing vehicle ! 🙂
    Am very glad 🙂 that You have a much better, fuller cage design, implementation in this RX-7 racing vehicle too.
    It is somewhat interesting and clearly lacking that NHRA rules, certification for the cage, does not have a complete set of requirements to include the proper seats, belts and other proper safety equipment. As We know, there is a check, verification at the track before the events by individuals, often called the "Tech" before allowing participation in each Drag*Drive event and other racing events according to the more complete NHRA rules, though not necessarily all aspects are completely check properly and many are still insufficient too.
    A. As for Your RX-7 racing vehicle the racing seats may be common, but clearly lack fuller, proper containment around the body, neck and head as exist within professional drag racing, NASCAR, FIA, IMSA, F1, Indy, SCCA, etc.
    B. My recommendations to nearly all are to please view, review the videos posted on this yt-platform, within the channel of, from Tess Woods, Miss Midnight Maverick with her crash in November 2021 during SCTN at LV, NV in her Maverick - the videos include a compilation of recording from outside and inside the vehicle along with her explanations, details - her car, vehicle traveling in the right lane, just slowing from traveling 160 MPH [TS], just after the end of 1/4 mile, at the end of the preparation, shifted to the right, hit the right wall, then darted across the track to the left side, hit the left wall at ~ 45 deg., bounced off, ricocheted across to track to the right, hit the right wall - she had a full cage with a 'funny car loop' as Yours - Tess describes as is seen clearly within the video recording inside the vehicle, how much her body shifted, was 'thrown' inside due to lacking the full containment seat and bars on the right side - as Yours. Tess also mentions specifically the importance, necessity with a parachute, deployment, whichher car lacked then, had not installed yet, an automated "E-Chue" which will be installed on her next Maverick along with a fuller cage and better containment seat.
    C. You also saw the crash which Ayden Bailey had, experienced on Day 5 of Sick Week 2022 in Bradenton with the barrel roll, also having lost traction at the end of the 1/4 mile at a similar 162 MPH TS, with the full cage, lack with parachute deployment, though a mechanical, lever deployment installed, not regularly used.
    D. Also You may have seen the crash which Doug Cook, Motion Raceworks had with his Nova during RMRW 2021 too, and his posted video about the significance, importance, function, necessity, use of, with parachute equipment and deployment
    E. The Professional drag racing vehicles have automated parachute deployment for many years - now available for all too.
    F. In addition, as with the videos with, within the emphasis, importance, necessity by Tom Bailey post his fire in his Camaro 2.0 2021 about fire safety, equipment, clothing, automated enactment, etc.
    G. Note in the video with Dale Inman of Petty Racing from Mitchell Stapleton [You may also have met him on, during RMRW], they had many advanced safety items, designed into the driver seat, area, many years prior to the NASCAR regulations, which still lacked when Dale Earnhardt was hit at the end of the 2001 Daytona 500 race durgin the ending portion of last lap, in which Dale drove to block the other pursing drivers, to allow his teammate who was leading to win. - Dale was killed - the additional equipment requirement, design, safety for the driver seat was added for NASCAR 2002 and since, along with other improvements within the wall designs, implementation to absorb impact which no NHRA/IHRA/PDRA drag racing track has still.
    The Professional level racing events within NHRA/IHRA/PDRA, etc. are certainly more precise, with full verifications, certifications, requirements, etc., though still have some aspects which need improvement too.
