for pvp specifically, its a good idea to learn every classes fundamentals to know what you're up against- but that doesnt necessarily require an alt, but thats what i use mine for. and bosses.
You can use alts to get mob knowledge by having them read a book at ur house, you can swap character while they do it and there is no limit to how many alts can do that. After the reading timer ends u get knowledge. Easy way to increase your max energy.
Another great use for alts is transferring mats and equipment using the the central market place, have workers get mats use the alt to transfer it to marketplace then another alt to transfer it from market place to storage allows organising and storage of processing materials ready for alts to use or store for later use.
i put a wizard with 184 ap and quest gear at cadry ruins for the pen accessory daily good thing i have infinite hp potion but fr cadry elites is dumb silver rn a single wepon stone is 300k i get heaps of bmc and caphra dust too there is no other spot in the game where you can make this kind of silver w 184 ap but without maids inventory and weight it's impossible you rely on enhanced weapon drops

I don't care what y'all say, but the endgame is all about fashion and aesthetics xD. For those who are interested in 100%-fc no-P2W this game, there is a quest at Heidel that gives you one dye for completion of the quest. Acceptance conditions are: skilled gathering and level 20+. You can reroll two dyes for one new random dye and Shai already has the gathering requirements at level 1. I always have two character slots where I create new Shais every 24 hours (time it takes to delete a character) and I know the Velia questline so well now that I can get to level 20 in 20 minutes. (Also the main quests you do on new characters count towards Rulepee Travel Log completion).
Boss alts wont matter anymore unless you level and gear them up because PA is about to push a patch that only allows you to gain boss loot if you do at least 1.5% HP dmg.
lol 1.5% hp is wrong. its ±0.01% of total dmg in relative to all players. 1.5% hp is = tens of millions of damage(might be hundred millions+) cause all world boss has the same hp across all channels. and its only for the world boss on steroids
having all your life skills in one character is a huge mistake. There are some skills that come together but i definetly have one guy just for farming and gathering and also alchemy...then i have another one that cooks, also a horse trainer, and a "sailor".
funnily enough the stuff you mention is probably good for one chara farming gathering requires energy and doing cooking, alchemy, horse training is literally afk activity to refill energy on main energy user 1 en per 3min active vs 1 hour inactive
@@artaizen1613 I think there is no way you can do all things at the same time and be some how efficient. If you need energy you can have other alters and your main grinding character to gather energy from for example.

I even have alts for taking quests like the ones for the carrack. I think is tedious to have everything on one character. Imagine you are farming in aakma or somewhere like that, far away. Suddenly you need to rush to lets say calpheon to do some cooking required for a certain event or anything you need...if you have your cooking skill in the char that is in aakman you are going to want to kill yourself. Now imagine that happening with all the other life skills, every time...plus if you have all the stuff in one character idk what would you do with the alts, like those must be the most boring and lame alts in bdo history lol
Having "a guy just for gathering" is a terrible idea. Where are you gonna get energy from? Offline 1 energy per 30 mins regen is virtually useless for gathering. And I think you took "all life skills in 1 char" too literally. Having a lot, but not all, life skills on the same char is actually pretty good as a lot of them synergise well together. Grinding, training, processing and gathering all go very well together since you get a lot of energy for gathering while doing the rest, for example. Having your main char cooking and delivering allows you to also use the extra weight capacity when grinding, as another example. Yeah, I guess if you grind in pila ku and deliver boxes in grana it might not be very practical but just have some common sense and you will see lots of things that actually work together quite well.

Very useful video. but first thing first, how do you get so many char slots? You start with 6. Getting slots with loyalty is slow. Pearls?
1 for bartering below lvl 50 so you don't get destroyed by a random PK.
