Absolutely! I love her design. She's a baroness and honestly? Its a very matriarchal title so having her older really nails her aesthetic so well. She's a wonderful addition to the roster and a breath of fresh air on an artistic side too.
YES! As a nearly 32 years old woman who still plays League, I am so glad there is at least two visibly older female champions in the game. There are lots of cool older men in game, but very few women, so I am very glad Renata exists.

Loving that sad, bluesy, noir saxophone(edit: clarinet) at the beginning. I hope we get more Zaun characters like Ranata in the future that embody that stylish noir side of Runeterra. Some of the characters in Arcane looked super cool in this exact way.
Zac Zinger is the goat, putting his jazz/fusion style into league is 👌, especially for this champ.

@@quickredf0x143 There are a couple of different wind instruments used I think, Zac is a multi-instrumentalist. But yeah, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Flute (Maybe Shakuhachi) are definitely there

If there's one thing that the music team always nails, it's the immaculate usage of the strings. Almost every champion theme is an orchestral masterpiece in their own way.

The fact that the music team and DESIGN team didn't fail and there is actually an animated splashart, it is just beautiful, one of the best champ designs in years.

I think Viego's was one of the better ones. Mostly because out of all of the young generic attractive people, his actually made sense to his lore

I looked at the scene where Jayce meets her with flowers for the end of episode talk, and we get snippets of pictures, but I swear there was a broader picture I'm just not finding. Either way I didn't see Renata in the Jayce scene. Could you reply with a source for this? Now I'm really curious :o

No way, tell me please that animated login screens are back...she looks incredible.
Maybe not login screens as Riot did abandon them, but they really make a lot of animated splash arts still. Every character in Wild Rift has an animated splash art - even the ones that never had login screen, which is amazing.

That used to be the norm. They used to have login screens with the animated splash and their themes playing. They should do that again.

The issue with login screens was that the players spent like a split second looking at it before logging in, having it in the client would solve it

The oboe adds to the class, and the modern beat is just beyond sick! And the strings!! Such a smooth, suave theme, so refreshing with the flute too, what a PERFECT composition.

Man if Renata made an appearance in Arcane in the later season it would be wild! Imagine this theme playing the back as you hear heels clicking on the floor and a diving view of her back walking in a scene.
This air of corrupt sophistication, it reminds me of Sylas.
Renata nicks some of the Steel Shadow's notes (Camille), Sylas is a full on demacia rising remix.
Both lean into the darkness of their homes, bringing dark and beautiful music with them.
Also, Miss Glasc literally is holding the "violent murder revolution button" in her hands, she could make Sylas blush with the show she's about to kick off.
This theme fits so well with Renata’s lore. Riot’s music team is on fire.
i love how in the song there are subtle violins that resemble the theme of Camille, implying their dualism and relationship as the one that killed Renata's parents
i love the flute that plays when the song stops for a split second. who ever made this theme is amazing.
Finally - The only thing I've been waiting for when a new Champion comes out.
I love how this theme sounds at first sensual and elegant, and describes Renata perfectly:a beautiful, elegant and sensual woman-at first.Then, the theme becomes more dark and threatening, describing, again, how Renata can also be ruthless.
I find renata´s design and kit very appealing. But i also have to say that if they added Silco to the game, this would be the kit i expected for him. (Sry for my english)

I love how this theme is not "in your face" but still retains so much drama and power. This song is the type of song that would play as you step into a dimly lit jazz bar only to realize the door has locked behind you while a single booth lights up and Renata is just sitting there, waiting for you to come closer... And as you do, you can see the warm glow of her Decanter as it hovers beside her, floating gently up and down.

RIOTS music departments almost never fails. It seems to almost always hit the right thematic and sense of the character while making an amazing musical piece.

Her design is one of the best Riot has come up with in a while. Just SO we’ll put together. The kind of noir Rythm of her theme also fits her so well. It’s so wonderfully charming and creepy.
I have a feeling that arcane willl switch from jinx, vi, caitlyn, Silco and Jayce to Ranata Glasc, Camille, Orianna, Singed, Viktor and Warwick- a new arc for the marking of the new age of the twin sovereigns.

I love the fact that this theme (excluding the eerie intro and outro) is like the background music of perfume commercials, given that her character mostly revolves around chemicals, hence her epithet.
And also, despite some earlier comments that I saw saying that they didn't like this theme because it is more different than the champion trailer due to the missing "madness" part, I still like this theme more than that since I believe that if the trailer music focuses more on her madness in the outside, this final theme focuses more on what she feels in the inside. Yes, we can feel the elegance, danger, and superiority in this theme like in the trailer, but this time, it is more sad when it comes to its tunes. I agree that the intense part of this theme is not as "intense" as expected just like what the other comments stated, since we can still feel that lingering sense of a somewhat "hidden" grief. This suggests that more than the madness she is about to unleash in a snap of her fingers, her reputation and strong personality as a dangerous, strong, independent lady/businesswoman/political figure from Zaun, deep inside, she is still that little girl grieving the loss of her parents and is therefore attempting to seek revenge and justice in an unjust world where if you are poor, despite helping many people, you are voiceless.

This is something I'd absolutely listen to daily, it's astonishing how every part of it "conveys" Renata's storyline. We need more of this. We need more Pantheon/Gangplank-like themes.
Viego's theme does this as well. Showed it to my mom, unfamiliar to him at the time, and she could easily tell what his story was about. Riot's Music department is beyond perfection.
Y'know sometimes it scares me piltover and zaun, they may be the places with less brute force or power, but the power they got, they use it at it's fullest with all the smart people they have

Riot don't give enough credit to its music team, they deserve much more than be just accidently stumbled upon while looking through YT recommendations
So many parallels between Camille and her.
The same region one from Piltover, the other from zaum.
One chose to remove her legs and heart to augment herself while the other kept her heart but had to replace her lost arm.
Both rich one heir while the other is selfmade. Influent, pulling string from the shadow for Camille and by the influence of her brand and her name for Renatta.
One is visibly younger than she actually is cause money bought her a pleasant lifestyle and made her augments possible and Renata on the other hand looks older than she is because she lived a harsh life in a famished area.
Both have sadness in their heart but Camille pushes it to the side in order to accomplish her duty and find fulfilment while Renata uses it more as a fuel for her will to dominate.
Man i miss so much login screens and see this animated splash art just bring a tear into my eyes XD

It reminds me strangely of the Poirot TV show theme and The Edge by David McCallum with a Metal Gear twist, it has an extremely unique sound for a League Champ theme, love it.
