yeah that will definitely deffuse the and lower the intensity of the brightness or in reverse you can add tin foil to the insdie to make the light bounce around increasing it.
I just built the same model this week, it took me 3 days. I still have a bit of painting to do but I’m surprised how well the parts line up. Highly recommend model. 👍
Unfortunatly the hulls thc wrong colour i dont know why some model kit companies do it that colour, when Doctor ballards team recovered a piece of the hull and it was bright red.
Yeah, although it does come with the sections in coloured plastic the kit shows where you can add pain which I did. I also did some washes and dry brushing to help raise the level of detail of the parts
Depending on where in the world you're from it ranges from about $40-$60, not a bad price point for the complexity level, ease of assembly and well as the lighting kit which adds an extra bit of fun and learning. It's suitable for beginners as it comes with the plastic pre-coloured. I do recommend it and there links in the description if you're looking at getting one.
Awesome model! Your painting additions made such a big difference on the finished product. Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
If you put an opaque tape on the inside of the ship (in her white section) will it dim down the brightness?

Did you paint any parts?

Nice job! The lights are a bit too bright and there’s a lot of light bleedthrough
Thanks for the tip
Is this model high quality, easy, and worth the price?
