Maybe a coaching course? I still haven't found someone talking about the aftermath of decluttering or cleaning the hoard. I get feelings of sadness and emptiness, and not the high that others seem to get. If you would talk about that, I would really appreciate it.
This is so spot on!!!! I feel the same way…it always felt emptied & lonely after I decluttered. It’s taken a lot of self work and changing my thoughts to start to appreciate the open spaces. A great topic indeed!!! Thank you!!
Honestly, you don't always need to do a voice-over. You could easily just set up the camera and show yourself getting things accomplished. Moving things around, going through bins, organizing, etc. You could always just pop in every now and then and briefly explain what your doing, but, I think you'll find people will be pleased just to see you making big process! Same! No voiceover needed, though I do like hearing about the sentimental stuff, why you're keeping or letting go. And same, I just love seeing the progress being made! ❤
My Husband retires this week. He is not sentimental and I am. He wants to get rid of most of our stuff. I would like to hear you speak on this topic. I would like to keep declutterring without the pressure of doing things his way. Talking about communication and working together when people have different ways of doing things. I would really appreciate that. God bless us all on our journey.
I’d really love to see you go through the items in the basement that you haven’t gone through yet. I think it would be great because then you will have all your rough organization complete 🙂
Your boss is throwing Gold away (you)! But you will manage! You must take Care of yourself. Enjoy the summer and declutter the rest of the basement. I would love to see you declutter your craftstuff. (My own biggest problem) I Wish you all the best. I am sure you will get a new job when you need it. The Universe will provide you when you need it. Big hug to you ❤❤❤
You are the creator of a successful Utube channel, you are not in the same place as the last time. You can really focus on your channel and keep growing it. It might be a blessing, although it might not feel like that now.
I would love a video aimed at kids, showing them why it is ok to throw away or donate toys and craft items that aren't their favorites, with a focus on how good it feels to have a bedroom with enough space to play in it, and how easy it is to put things away when there are less things in the room. How a child can get started cleaning when they feel like it is so messy that it's overwhelming and impossible to do on their own.
I love that!!! I can do that with Tyler my youngest!! My Brandon is a teenager and doesn’t want to be on camera anymore…he’s more of a behind the scenes guy!! lol
Thank you so much,it was a comfort lissing to you. I had to walk away from my job After we had a new boss who did not like me. She wanted her own staff and younger people working with her. 5 years. I was there , but the last year was hell😢 Too much verbal abuse. God gave me a push to walk out of my shift. I was free from that pain & suffering at last. 😊 Then the fear came back I could not get a job as I was 61😢. I started to declutter & decorat our house doing the gardening It felt good. But I still felt sad as I was not bringing in a wage it was left to my husband . I felt it not fair on him. I can't get past this as I can't get my pension for another 5 years and my husband fills he can't retire next year . This makes me feel guilty. But now I'm declutting thankyou. Now Waiting for a new door to open

Not going to lie, but I had a suck-in air moment when I read your title. I am sorry to hear about your lay off. It seems I hear this more and more. But hearing you talk about blessings and looking for them everyday, I know you are going to be fine. This is the next chapter in your life. You are going to do great things. And thank you for being a positive light. ☺
In 1984 I lost my job, I got another post at the same company and they paid for me to do the training at IBM to become a programmer... it was a career I had always wanted to try... I was very successful and very happy Good luck with whatever and wherever the door that opens for you leads to....
This is truly your chance to move forward! The opportunity to focus on the channel and to focus on your health!! Hugs to you!! This is a new beginning 🎉🎉
I got laid off in 2022 and I was shocked and heartbroken. One month later I landed one of my dream jobs. It truly is one door closes another opens- its an opportunity to change your life for the better. Plus you have the gift of freedom and time! I am so excited to see what this next chapter brings for you, and I am SO proud of you for facing these difficult emotions head on. As my late cousin once said, “I know god’s working so I smile.”
Was wondering a little when you went through the items you collected at the office. So happy to hear that you got some severance, and hope everything works out well when you have digested it a bit more. You’ve got this!
Oh yes, I was wondering if someone was going to pick up on that!! Your intuition is spot on! And yes, there’s another load that came home after the basement video.
Sorry for the loss of your job. Please do continue to declutter and organize. Positive is focus on your channel and do more videos Nice your boss gave you money that will help you through the summer
I had seen in the newspaper advice column last year where a guy was cleaning out his Mother’s hoarded home after she died…he brought stuff to his home to go through it at his convenience…and then found his wife had thrown it out behind his back…and he wanted to go through it first! His wife is a “minimalist” and added that she’ll buy new things and if she doesn’t have a place for it or doesn’t use it she gets rid of that, too…money wasted …and it upsets him. A good topic for your channel…how to deal with other people in your family or others who aren’t respectful of boundaries and also supportive of helping someone through this issue…knowing how to deal with things like that 😀🌞👍
Wow what a disrespectful and unloving spouse that man has. So sad. That stuff is irreplaceable. That is very selfish of his spouse. Poor man has to deal not only with the loss of his mother, and any tangible thing of hers he may have wanted to keep but also a selfish, disrespectful wife too boot. Wow
I would like to hear about your new income streams and the search for that. You are not alone. Some folks hoard or clutter because they don't like their job. Or have a caustic job/boss life. Throughout this journey you have had a good job/boss. whatever you decide to film is good by me. best wishes!!!
Exciting! I am glad to hear you are feeling positive! I would like to see you start helping others, like Carla Project, The Space Maker Method, A Beautiful Mess or Peeling Away the Clutter.
For UA-cam ideas: Waiting for your house organisation ideas, revisiting places decluttered before, sharing flower garden projects, no spend challenges. I'm glad you're healthy 💝 You're in my prayers. God bless you. Greetings from Warsaw, Poland ☀️
Ouch- what a rough surprise; I'm sorry you lost your job. I love that you are able to acknowledge your feelings and look at the open doors. I'd love more discussion on processing fear and healing through it, tools to move forward, and healing impulse spending
The way you're processing thru this life event shows how much you've learned and healed from your journey. You will do great! Embrace the opportunities.
I'm so sorry you lost your job, but happy for you that you'll turn your bright light toward other things! I love your videos and you're so sweet. I always love a good declutter!
I was laid off in 2015 and it was the hardest thing I ever went thru. Between the severance package and unemployment, money was okay. What wasn't okay was the loss of my identity, my daily purpose, the way in which my company did it, and the PTSD it still causes to this day. You will grieve for that job, for that position you were in, for the tasks you loved to do, for your boss who was wonderful to you. You may grieve for years and if so that is okay. You are a strong lady. One day at a time. Peace.
I just found out my hours at work are being drastically cut very soon. Your positivity about your own job loss really helped me put things into perspective ❤️. I am going to be ok because, like you said, this door may be closing so another opportunity can open up for me. 😊 Wishing you all the best with your channel and future plans!!
I’m curious about how you organize your time? Can you do a video about that? It’s a monster struggle for me and I would find it very helpful. Thank you in advance!❤ I’m proud of you, btw and your progress! I sorry about the loss of your job (my family JUST got over a similar struggle); at the same time, I really do believe that this is more of a blessing and an opportunity than a curse. I pray you are full time living your dream long before the end of the summer!❤
I have been a subscriber from the sunglasses day, I don't think you'd even hit 2k at the time. Your growth has been exponential, your vulnerability and honesty heartwarming and inspiring. I'm quiet, so I don't comment often. I want you to know that among many others I think you are amazing 🤩. Thank you for being you 🫶
I’ve been reading some of the comments and agree with all of them. This is your time to shine and have the time to do the things you wanted to do with your channel and with helping others. It would be fun to see your basement finally become the area that you wanted it to become! I remember seeing you at the beginning when you were hiding behind your phone and getting rid of hardly anything; but you were taking those small healing steps! Look where you are now! You will be helping others; and who knows, you might have a platform for speaking engagements in the future and/or writing a book about your journey from hoarding to tidy!Wishing you all the best!❤Patti
I would love to hear about grocery budgeting and meal planning. But am also so excited to continue following your decluttering journey. Look, you just decluttered your job! 😜
Hi, if you would like some Input for future topics to talk about: I would love to watch a „behind the scenes“ video with an explanation of how you come up with new ideas for the next video and the process of shooting the footage, recording voiceovers, choosing a thumbnail, cutting, choosing the music etc. Keep your positive attitude und enjoy the fresh Start!😊
Hi! I like the videos where you talk about what's on your mind as you declutter. Like, when you hold that item, is it easy or hard to keep/declutter and why? I'm less interested in videos where someone talks about a topic, I'm not really personally into the "how to" videos. I'm much more inspired and motivated and interested in your straight-up decluttering video with talking about how you're feeling and what you're thinking as you go. ❤️ Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
I love, love, love your attitude! Your videos bless me so much. You are a gifted speaker, you tell your story so well. I’m excited to see what God has for you as you step out into the somewhat unknown. How gracious of your boss to cover your financial needs for the coming months. God is good!!!
I would really like to hear more about paper piles in a hoarding home. Bills, school papers, newspapers to put under crafts and all kinds of paper that comes into the home. I recycle immediately but all the other papers congregate in one place becoming piles.
You have been working so hard on improving your state of being with clearing away ‘stuff’. I can’t help but feel this will be a blessing in disguise from the Universe. The fact that you have been working on getting rid of stored items - the Universe is like ‘well done’, a storage facility no longer resonates with your energy. This will be a good thing 💗
You are a classy gal! You are graceous and kind, appreciating the amazing times you have had with your boss. You now have time to chose your own future, I wish you well xx
It’s so sad how common layoffs are nowadays. It’s happened to me twice too. The first time was very unexpected and scary. The second time wasn’t as bad. I definitely think this will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you.

You got this! You will be fine 💪🏼 I would like to see declutterring, cleaning, garage sale, making crafts, helping others with clutter problems.
What a beautiful outlook! When God closes one book he opens another. Can we do more content about the scarcity mindset vs the abundant. I’m looking for the joy in life every day now. More happiness and more thriving. Thank you ❤
Even brighter things could be around the corner. 🌅 It is also as you said a great opportunity to go through bills ect and prioritise what is most important and not to waste time and money on things that aren't important.
When one door closes another one opens… more Blessings are ahead for you! Keeping working your passion projects and sharing with the world we appreciate you! 💛
Yes! Now that you are feeling better, which thank goodness you were able to have your surgeries in time, you have so much time to finish the basement and finally have a crafting room by the start of fall!! I think I would like you to talk more about finances and community building!!
I was confused about "have your surgeries in time", but I guess you mean while still covered by employer's health insurance? (I'm not in the US.) If that was an issue then of course the timing was good (or intentional on the part of her boss).
Perfect opportunity to go into other people's homes and help them get on the declutter mode maybe write a book on hoarders decluttering just a everybody decluttering book keep smiling you got this girl you are so much stronger ❤💜
You’re such a lovely person to look past your own concerns and be happy for your boss and his family. You’ve learned and developed so much (eg. no spend challenges) that I’m sure you and your family will be fine.
You have a great mind set , gosh I lost my first job after 10 years I was so depressed I then had a child which saved me but like you said one door closes another opens yep 👍🏻 scored a new job when my son was 15 months walked straight into it 27 years later with that job wow 👍🏻👍🏻good luck
Sometimes the things in life we are not expecting turn out to be the biggest blessings….i assume you are also entitled to unemployment…..you can be a blessing by doing more with you tube and helping others with hoarding….you are the most empathetic speaker I have ever heard…you can help so many 😘❤️
Here in Colorado when I was laid off I checked and four that a person has to have full time work for 4 quarters...one year in the state before being eligible for unemployment money. Also the person has to apply and get interviews for jobs that they would be qualified to do every week. The weeks of unemployment money is just for a limited time only. It was tough finding a new job.
So sorry about the job loss. Have you considered writing a book? I think you would do great at it, considering how much compassion you have and that you have lived what so many others are going through.
I am so happy you give God all the praise and glory. It sounds like you are in the right mindset to move forward. I could hear your faith in God about days, weeks, months ahead. Take a little more time to rest and recover from surgery. I am happy for you. And, tell your boss/friend thank you for taking care of you with the package. I am sure you were a fun and fantastic employee. May God continue to bless you and your dreams.
I am so excited to watch all the stuff you're gonna be able to do now with your good health and time. This was your best most uplifting video yet and it seems like you already know you have nothing to worry about because you have sooo much to offer. As far as topics, I really want to see you curate your home to be exactly how you want it.
No scarcity mindset. We retired from FT work in 2002. Found PT work for a while. Been fully retired for years now. You don't need much. Tina, Al's wife
Witch is the main fandom in my life. Even I am not into this right now, I was in love with it for 15 years of my life. Thank you for this video! The best one! ❤❤❤❤
I admire you so much! I remember back to the days when you wore a mask and look at you now in your vulnerable full glory! The resilient, wise, capable person deep within you knows the answers and what direction to take now.
Your positive thinking will bring many opportunities. You are a great example of looking forward. This is also a gift of time for continued physical healing. Encouraging you to plan self care every day 💕🙏
I hope that you will be able to get all that you want to get done in this time. Stick with a routine so you dont slip into a depression. You got this!!! I would love to know your faith Journey and how you became a Christian I love hearing people's testimonies and the Lord's work in their lives.
Well if that isn’t another surprise on top of your surgeries. I really think you have a great mindset for this change. Wishing you well! By the way you make such cute decorations with your supplies.
Could always do an episode on gardening if you plant flowers. Talk about the process and what you’ve learned and are still learning. Could also do cleaning videos, not declutterring but like cleaning a bathroom, your process and the products and tools you use. Any tips or tricks as well.
I love all of your videos. I love it when you are chatty on a topic, but sometimes I would also like to know the stories behind what you find as you are searching. So instant reaction instead of voice over like some of your older videos. I also love the decorate and crafts, but decluttering is by far my favorite. I would also like to see your homemaking a bit more. Just anything and everything, honestly. Lol. 🦄 🎉
It is great that you are debt free except for your mortgage and have savings. This will be a great time to get hoarders heart moving more in the direction you want.
🎉 Proud of your positive attitude. God will see you through. When you have your yard sales you could sell some of your crafts too. They look lovely. Yes. Please take some to follow your dreams! You are being given a gift.
I'm so sorry you lost your job. As far as the types of videos I'd enjoy (besides cleaning out the basement) are: zoning the basement, yard sale videos, including how you prepare for them, if your boys have stuff they want to get rid of, maybe a kid yard sale where they get the proceeds, straightening videos, and videos where you make spaces more butterfly friendly, and the occaisional kon marie on themed items.
I loved the craft flower pots and the pallet -- you have such a great eye. I am eager to see your creativity bloom in this season of change and opportunities.
I lost my job due to the pandemic but was close enough to retirement, I started a couple of years early. Now I work occasional odd jos. God provides. I would like to see continued help on influencing children to avoid hoarding and more info on the no spend challenge.
I LOVE your positivity! Yes, the Lord certainly could be opening these doors to you to bless others and take Hoarders Heart to the next level. I can’t wait to see what you do in the next few months!!! 🎉❤
I'm so happy you are seeing these changes in a positive way for yourself and the owner. I'd really like to see more about how you work on not rehoarding, not buying more, not accumulating more. I feel like I do great about letting things go, deciding and organizing but I still bring so much into my home almost unintentionally. It hurts my progress, my bank account and my heart to still be stuck in that cycle when I feel like I've made so much progress elsewhere. Any insight you have on that, including maybe guests or information from experts, would be really helpful!
Could you do more interviews? Where others who declutter talk to you and ask questions? And maybe where you tall with other Hoarders who have watched your channel and have honest conversations about the perspective and feelings. Watching this channel has helped me understand the trait I fought and the family members who had struggled.
Alot of suggestions to take on helping others with hoarding problems; just be aware that it takes enormous reserves of energy to coach others through this, and you would have to deal with alot of the emotion that drives the issues, so you have to have really strong boundaries to stop them sucking your energy all out or messing your own mind up 💖💖
Yes, please! I love that you are seeing it as an opportunity, but, I think it's also okay to grieve the loss of your job. You know that it was nothing you did to cause it and hopefully that gets you over the surprise of the loss and you can keep moving forward. I can see you now being able to concentrate on what lies before you. Yay! Good for you and the very best wishes! 🥰🤩❤❤❤
it’s been a while, it’s so good seeing you grow and remain positive miss Heart ❤❤ yes go full on with your vocation, clear your spaces, help other hoarders professionally, sell your crafts, using only things you already have…I am still very much stuck in my life, with hoarding, depression and CFS and would need help, I stopped watching inna while trying to focus on my health sending you Light ❤

You are the creator of a successful Utube channel, you are not in the same place as the last time. You can really focus on your channel and keep growing it. It might be a blessing, although it might not feel like that now.
Thank you so much my friend, your words mean so much to my heart ❤️
I would love a video aimed at kids, showing them why it is ok to throw away or donate toys and craft items that aren't their favorites, with a focus on how good it feels to have a bedroom with enough space to play in it, and how easy it is to put things away when there are less things in the room. How a child can get started cleaning when they feel like it is so messy that it's overwhelming and impossible to do on their own.
I love that!!! I can do that with Tyler my youngest!! My Brandon is a teenager and doesn’t want to be on camera anymore…he’s more of a behind the scenes guy!! lol
Going through the last Boxes and then organizing the crafts 😍
Thank you so much,it was a comfort lissing to you.
I had to walk away from my job
After we had a new boss who did not like me.
She wanted her own staff and younger people working with her. 5 years. I was there , but the last year was hell😢
Too much verbal abuse.
God gave me a push to walk out of my shift.
I was free from that pain & suffering at last. 😊
Then the fear came back
I could not get a job as I was 61😢.
I started to declutter & decorat our house doing the gardening
It felt good.
But I still felt sad as I was not bringing in a wage it was left to my husband .
I felt it not fair on him.
I can't get past this as I can't get my pension for another 5 years and my husband fills
he can't retire next year .
This makes me feel guilty.
But now I'm declutting thankyou.
Now Waiting for a new door to open
I get it! I got laid off in late December. I got notice in October. I am now volunteering for the local animal shelter. Hugs 🫂 ❤
Your timing is amazing. My husband lost his job this past week. I'm a stay at home mom. It's like the ground has been taken from out under our feet.
Best wishes.
I wish you all the very best.@caitlinavila
I’m so sorry 😢
Check out frugal fit mom for cheap ways to feed your family. Hit up your local food bank. Take a few days to enjoy being a stay at home family. Look for an evening job for yourself that u can keep when hubby goes back to work to get your savings back on track, or make an emergency fund. Google Erin resume and you'll probably find the woman with long blond hair who has lots of current career advice.
I hope some of these suggestions are useful to u.
I'm so sorry..hugs hope he gets new job soon
Not going to lie, but I had a suck-in air moment when I read your title. I am sorry to hear about your lay off. It seems I hear this more and more. But hearing you talk about blessings and looking for them everyday, I know you are going to be fine. This is the next chapter in your life. You are going to do great things. And thank you for being a positive light. ☺
I absolutely loved reading your message, thank you so much my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️
In 1984 I lost my job, I got another post at the same company and they paid for me to do the training at IBM to become a programmer... it was a career I had always wanted to try... I was very successful and very happy
Good luck with whatever and wherever the door that opens for you leads to....
Miss heart how about some flylady routins? I would like to see that ❤ maybe this is a good time for that
❤❤️🙏🙏👍
Thank you so much for sharing your story!!! I love it 💗💗💗
This is truly your chance to move forward! The opportunity to focus on the channel and to focus on your health!!
Hugs to you!! This is a new beginning 🎉🎉
Thank you so so much my friend 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 I feel like that too!!!
Finding meaning in what you keep
I’m so very sorry. You were his right hand, I can’t believe the new owner wouldn’t keep you on. Good luck with your future endeavors.
I lost my job in the pandemic and it was the best thing that ever happened to me! Good luck with the future x
Thank you for sharing with me!!! I’m so happy it was a blessing for you ❤️🙏🏼❤️
I'd love to discuss negative self-talk and how to be more positive about yourself!
Yes I agree that is an important topic to help so many- esp when it is balanced and not going to the other extreme.
Ohhhh…that’s a good one!!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️🙏🏼❤️
Heck yes!!❤
For UA-cam ideas: Waiting for your house organisation ideas, revisiting places decluttered before, sharing flower garden projects, no spend challenges. I'm glad you're healthy 💝 You're in my prayers. God bless you. Greetings from Warsaw, Poland ☀️
What a wonderful positivity you spread, that's so encouraging. May God bless you abundantly in this new era of your life! Much love from Germany
I would love to see you explore what the boundary between hoarding and resourcefulness looks like for you!
Peace.
Thank you so so much for sharing my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️ I am feeling everything you wrote bc I am grieving that job, I was happy there.
I just found out my hours at work are being drastically cut very soon. Your positivity about your own job loss really helped me put things into perspective ❤️. I am going to be ok because, like you said, this door may be closing so another opportunity can open up for me. 😊 Wishing you all the best with your channel and future plans!!
That's the spirit! I'm certain only good things will come out of this change.
I’m curious about how you organize your time? Can you do a video about that? It’s a monster struggle for me and I would find it very helpful.
Thank you in advance!❤
I’m proud of you, btw and your progress!
Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Me too
I love, love, love your attitude! Your videos bless me so much. You are a gifted speaker, you tell your story so well. I’m excited to see what God has for you as you step out into the somewhat unknown. How gracious of your boss to cover your financial needs for the coming months. God is good!!!
I love when you do little DIY with things you already have
I would really like to hear more about paper piles in a hoarding home.
You got a great attitude and so much resiliency! You got this!
It is also as you said a great opportunity to go through bills ect and prioritise what is most important and not to waste time and money on things that aren't important.
When one door closes another one opens… more
Blessings are ahead for you!
Thank you so much my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️ It was a blessing that I was paid sick time during my weeks off.
Exactly that she was happy for the blessings of her boss shows her maturity and heart and it is much needed example for others. I was blessed by it.
I’d like to hear you talk about the best ways to help someone with hoarding disorder.
This says so much about how your recovery is proceeding! Yes, God is blessing you with a whole new beginning and it’s going to be amazing! ❤
Witch is the main fandom in my life. Even I am not into this right now, I was in love with it for 15 years of my life.
Thank you for this video! The best one! ❤❤❤❤
Melanie, you NEED to be a motivational speaker (Tedtalks and women's groups, ect). It's what I enjoy so much from your videos.
I'd love to see more of what you craft from your stash. Also I'd love to see you organizing your stash :).
I am sorry you lost your job, I hope you can find another stable source of income soon and I hope it is in something you really love
I love the way you reframe the negative into the positive and explore all avenues and possibilities!
I think loosing your job could be a blessing. The hours you put into the company were high. The rest will do you good.
As you always says, Everything is going to be ok. You can do it.
When school is out you and your boys can have fun. Doing chores around the home teaching them new things such as cleaning out the shed o
I’d love to see more videos on scarcity mindset and your process of changing that, and also crafting! As well as decluttering, obviously 😊 xx
I would totally relapse with a job loss-I’m not there yet… you are SO inspiring!!!!
I'm so sorry, your going into a new chapter in your life.. The Lord with provide for you a door will open..God bless
Could you do more interviews? Where others who declutter talk to you and ask questions? And maybe where you tall with other Hoarders who have watched your channel and have honest conversations about the perspective and feelings. Watching this channel has helped me understand the trait I fought and the family members who had struggled.
Alot of suggestions to take on helping others with hoarding problems; just be aware that it takes enormous reserves of energy to coach others through this, and you would have to deal with alot of the emotion that drives the issues, so you have to have really strong boundaries to stop them sucking your energy all out or messing your own mind up 💖💖
Wise words
I feel like this is your time to shine and get your house together ❤🎉 I know it’s sad but it’s a blessing to have time back with your boys!
I love the way you see life. Even being laid off you are looking at the positive. I am going to try to have a more positive outlook on life.
