I used to think fighting games are all about trying to learn combos and doing them to your opponent but that’s not always the case. I’ve seen professionals just sit and hold back until their appointment opens up and just counter and then go all in.
Sure you gotta learn combos, but the most important things to learn with a fighting game are moreso neutral, offense, and defense. The combos you've labbed in training mode won't do you any good if you can't even figure how to get in on your opponent, how to open them up once you do get in, or how to defend against the opponent's offense if they manage to get in on you.
@king-cog if you time a perfect timing Sonic boom he says 'perfect' and it has better recovery frames. If you dont he still says sonic boom. My mans did not miss time sonic boom much
I'm a lifelong tekken player planning to move to street fighter because of how much I hate tekken 8. Watching this replay, could anybody enlighten me as to why so many throws weren't teched? Pretty sure there must be some mechanic in this game that made it hard as hell to tech the throws as seen in this replay
In SF6 and most street fighters, throws aren't realistically reactable. There's only a 7 (or 8) frame window to tech a throw. This makes every tech a risk between eating a grab or being shimmed, (which is a technique in which you make their throw tech whiff by moving backwards and then punish for even more damage.) So most pros tend to simply take throws when unsure of a read because the risk reward is in your favor, especially against bison who has incredibly high damage potential.
@@FoodNVent Not a huge fan of the heat mechanic, the net code isn't great, no mods (even cosmetic) and I dislike the arenas with moving backgrounds (Paris and meteor) as it's motion sickness inducing. No Miguel. Plus I think the impact sounds in T7 sound better
@Jack_Horner_is_a_hero It requires a lot of skill to pull 90% of guile moves off, he has the hardest combos and require an extreme amount of stick skills
Lexx was in my pools at CEO. The man is a monster. He beat Nuckeldu at CEO to get into top 8. I don't think he's taking criticism from plat players in youtube comments.
@@hihihihihi7889 So funny to see you idiots fight over you're evo boyfriends like this you are all trash. Got a tip for you both. You are losers all of you.
Love the 4:53 where he’s just hopping and stomping to get in
That was a awesome battle .Bison took over
Gotta love the random youtube nobodies talking shit about being able to beat these top players lol
It’s actually so pathetic to see how jealous people be in these comment sections
That ending was a heartbreak
11:08 ..What?!!!
lmao
Was great!
First time I have ever seen this

Both are solid players great match.
Lookss like these characters play the same as they did 30 years ago.
That's pretty much the point.
Kinda but not really
Theres definitely two different bison players playing here. The ome from the 1st 2 rounds was someone else.
If a planted psychobomb is about to go off during a throw animation it should delay till after the throw and pop the opponent up 😂
You sound so annoying I just wanna anti air yo ass so bad right now ma dawg!!
I totally agree
No
No you demon
so true!
Fail the last Combo Guile 😢
what happen to sonic boom ?
I was gonna ask that. What's he saying?
@king-cog if you time a perfect timing Sonic boom he says 'perfect' and it has better recovery frames. If you dont he still says sonic boom. My mans did not miss time sonic boom much
Me and my friend laugh at that too because to me it sounds like he's saying "corporate".
in my ear, every sonic boom, he says "forfeit! forfeit! forfeit!" 😂
@@usf4kid639 Toxic Guile confirmed! 😂

I wish people would just go back to Tekken 7. Its still a solid game
What’s so bad about tekken 8?

Always happy to see a Guile player lose
dispise throwers.
these two HATE breaking throws ig
Are these really the number one players?
Why don't you challenge them to find out the answer🤭
Yes
The top players basically change everyday. Tomorrow they might not be.
Yup
Higuchi and Nemo are the best for these characters imo.
This bison too cheap with throws, good to see Guile got the payback. Cheap players suck & have zero originality.
So, just to be clear, Hotdog sucks is what you're saying...?
Found the scrub who can't tech
Because holding down back 90% of the match is "original" lmao

This guile player needs to practice more
Please explain

Boy, please. Guile is a fundamental character defensive character. It takes skills to use him
Lmao who even are you to talk about a top 15 player?
Guile was week I would have 4-1 him
Like i 4-1ed your mom last night
