It’s common in that situation because his jumpin got perfect parried (but was still safe, like when you perfect parry a safejump setup). It’s common for the person who perfect parries to go for backthrow there. Lexx knew Mena wasn’t punishable though, so he tried to neutral jump to punish Mena throw-teching to avoid being thrown into the corner. That’s the logic. Usually in that situation you either go for backthrow or try to punish someone’s throw tech (usually via neutral jump). Mena just guessed correctly in a pseudo 50/50. Great read nonetheless.
I play guile a ton, and i have to say thay keeping him out of burnout is near impossible. Having to down back so much prevents you from gaining meter by advancing and the projectiles become predictable after the 2nd one, so keeping people at range is difficult. I know people say guile is easy and a top tier, but he sure doesnt feel like it at times.
Changing up boom timings is very important and applying proper pressure with moves like 6MK and 5HK got a long way in making people uncomfortable with advancing or pushing buttons against you at mid range. It’s hard but make sure you’re not only using fireballs but you’re taking note of people’s jump habits and actively changing your boom timings to make jumps harder to time properly.
@@VegetaHitsGirlsnew generations thinks all classic stuff is annoying that’s why developers is trying to attend these players even if it’s necessary not considering classic movements anymore. It’s all about profits unfortunately 😢
I think depending on the execution, you can perform perfect and non-perfect special moves. That might account for what Guile says, but not 100% on that.
Street fighter 6 gives Guile a special sonic boom where if he presses forward and punch at almost the exact same frame he gains slightly more damage on his fireball and Guile says “Perfect” with the yellow glow effect on the sonic boom as well. They added this as well with flashkick where he does about 20% more damage with the same system and says “Flashkick” as opposed to “Somersault”
its from having a hitbox. people piano the keys quickly to buffer and end up bobbing up and down. you can always tell somehow using leverless because they are much quicker and more consistant with their bouncing. Honestly its sweaty as heck but there are the worlds best players so I guess it makes sense.
7:55 how in god's name did he knew Guile would jump?, that's the hardest f read i've ever seen

I was about to comment this. I don't understand how a perfect perry can absolutely obliterate someone!
I wish instead of saying "sonic boom" and "perfect" Guile said "sonic" and "sonic boom"
Or say nothing since it spams alot
That was the slowest Perfect KO ive seen in awhile
Impressive on both sides of that one though. Them perfect blocks even in the combo. Good stuff 🙂
Excellent fight.

i play guile too and i absolutely relate to this comment

Guile is free lmao. Hasn't stopped being top tier tbh.
18:13 Blade- My Loyal Fans! 😂
7:08 Holy s… that was awesome.
This was amazing
The emperor who is contained in the middle distance
does Guile skill does not need to charge or held for a while?😅
He probably use a leverless i was wondering the same
Why does Guile say "Perfect" instead of "Sonic Boom" now?
it's when you hit booms in a 3 frame window
Idk why they chose that but man is it annoying hearing it like 12 times in a row while you just wait for him to be done.

When did Guyal start saying "PERFECT" instead of Sonic Boom?

Guile is wack
The very last few seconds games show how it is ridiculous. Zangief just walked towards the sonic boom like there is nothing.
18:15 🎉🎉🎉
Perfect match
Jogo Combinado é outro nível!!!😏😏😏
When the tie breaker is Zangief's face in your *** it's just gotta hurt....
Buen agarrón!! ✌🏽😎
Tiger Tiger Tiger. At least we don't have to listen to that for 2 minutes straight anymore
We haven’t had to listen to that for a while since Sagat was very weak in SFV haha. Guile was played way more than Sagat in that game.
@@plannedtuna8293 yes that's very true
Hmm bird. Birdy birdy bird.
What’s wrong with sagat😂
No perfect perfect perfect is much better 😂
What happened to sonic boom?? Sonic kick?
Is Guile said "portrait"?
Can't unhear that now hahahahaha
Moral of the story seems to be: don't get cornerd by Zangief!
All zangief has to do is hold about 2 to 3 times then he wins, that's why fighting against those characters is difficult to win.
Evolução do menard de zang é incrível 😮😮😮😮😮😮
how to zangief ex lariat into lvl 3
Zangief had fun with Guile
18:10 I can fell all rage in this CA 😂
Bro changed guiles sonic boom to perfect😂😂😂
In no way do I want to see a Guile revival...like at all
Zangief is good fight, good game.
Yep
Mxm, Shotos are way more useful 😂🚶🏽♂️

God I hate that bobblehead chicken dance they do lately with the constant micro-crouching. 2:02
They just thought they’d take a moment to bop to the beat. The strings and the flutes were cooking.

This game really doesnt like zoning. Nerf parry against projectiles
Tiger Tiger Tiger. At least we don't have to listen to that for 2 minutes straight anymore
So your lame ass can sit in the cornee spam hadoukens no thanks this is already a big issue in sf6 they need to nerf projectiles if you ask me
You must live under a rock to form this kind of opinion.
