Ace or Signature Pokemon tend to be a significant member of many trainer's Pokemon teams! Whether it's Ash-Greninja or Lucario for Ash in the anime, to Pikachu or Charizard for Red in the games! Gym Leaders, Champions, Elite 4 Members, Rivals, Evil Team Leaders and all sort of other Pokemon Trainers. Sometimes characters are even defined by these special Pokemon that they own. Usually these ace Pokemon come from the generation that the trainer debuted in, but what if these trainers had access to Pokemon of every generation? Would their signature Pokemon be the same as the ones they have then? Or would they have a different one? I wanted to ask that question, and in today's video... I go about giving all the Gym leaders from Unova, Kalos, and Galar new signature Pokemon from across all 8 generation of Pokemon!

Mudsdale would fit Clay because he has a cowboy aesthetic and it's a horse
I was thinking the same exact thing.
It's also a heavy hauler, it could haul coal if the machinery broke down
Clay was stated to be a very hard worker and Mudsdale can handle long work shifts especially with its ability Stamina. Also, both are fairly calm individuals.
Also he and hapu share ancestry.

I mostly agree with Roxie having a Toxtricity, but since she's a bassist it would make more sense for it to be a low key form Toxtricity
He already gave Low Key to Volkner; also, Amped works better with Roxie's personality.

I personally would give Clay a Mudsdale. He's a ground type gym leader with a cowboy aesthetic and Mudsdale is a ground type horse.

The eeveelutions coulda worked for the trio leaders. Leafeon, Flareon and Vaporeon. Not sure if they were already assigned to other gym leaders. But maybe they would've been too strong to be a first gym opponent? I'd hate to go against vaporeon for the first gym 😅
But they weren't introduced in same generations
Flareon and vaporeon were introduced in Kanto and leafeon in sinnoh
But they evolutionary family making related much brothers themselves
I'd have given Cilan, Chili and Cress three more matching Pokémon: the three bird starters Rowlet, Torchic and Piplup (Decidueye, Blaziken and Empoleon); however, their final evolutions would've screwed up your non-repetition rule.
Nah, flannery should have typhlosion and the trio of unova should have the gen 8 starters as gen 8 introduced curry cooking.
Typhlosion has a Pokédex entry talking about its ability to produce fire that can burn anything it touches if it gets angry enough.
Since Flannery is pretty hot-blooded, this would make Typhlosion even more appropriate for her.

I feel like Rhydon/ Rhyperior would have been a good fit for Clay. Him being the Underground Boss having the original ace of the Rocket Boss.
Also Drill. (Like really, it's not just their categories like Nidoking, they have Drills (and Rhyperior is a Mining Pokémon))
I think Elesa gets Raichu, Nessa gets Blastoise, Piers, Marnie, and Bede stay the same, Allister with Mimikyu, Kabu with Torkoal, and Valerie with Grimmsnarl.

You could have given Cilan Chili & Cress 3 Eeveeloutions or better yet 3 Rotom forms
For skyla I would of given her corviknight since those are essentially used for flying taxis and she’s a pilot. I just got to this point in the video though so if you are still planning on using Corviknight somewhere else I understand

Nice! I would agree with most of the comments here, though. I think the eeveelutions would work well with the Striaton boys. Also, giving megas to the Kalos leads is a good move.

Burgh - Kricketune
Kabu - Pyroar ♂️
Skyla - Togekiss
Cheren - Porygon Z
Bede - Florges

I seriously hated how the Rufflet and Vullaby were not available until the postgame of Black and White 1. There's already a whole 4 generations' worth of Pokemon that are postgame only, let all the new Pokemon be capturable for a playthrough team! It's even worse with how badly botched the early route bird's stat spread to move pool ratio was.
Nothing wrong with an easy pair from the same gen when you're simply correcting an obvious mistake.
Unova have a lot more gym leaders compared to other region, so, it might hardest choice to pick which one fits all the gym leaders. 13 Gym Leaders in one region including Chili, Cress, Cilan, Lenora, Burgh, Elesa, Clay, Skyla, Brycen and Drayden are the gym leaders that appeared in Black and White games but later on in Black 2 and White 2, we were given another leaders that are Cheren, Roxie and Marlon.

For Nessa, I think that it is kind of a funny coincidence that the dex number of Milotic (Which you chose as her new ace) is 350, like tree fiddy (Basically, in south park, the loch ness monster asks chef's parents for 3 dollars and 50 cents, which they pronounced as "Tree fiddy").
I would have given Cilan Chilli and Cress the eeveelutions, Leafeon Flareon and Vaporeon. They fit better for siblings in my mind

Its kinda funny as well if you think about it, since the Kalos E4 is easy in comparison to others.

Just so you know that outfit that Elesa has is a Sygna Suit, not an EX form, and Roxie plays the bass, not the guitar, so the other Toxtricity form fits better because it also plays the bass and the colors match with her outfit
Lenora and Cheren could have Noctowl for it is an early route pokemon as Hoothoot AND owls are symbol of knowledge
Roxie: the low key Toxtricty has the same colors as her outfit
Elesa: I think Ampahros works out just fine. Its long neck can be a comunicator of models tall bodies. And MEga Ampharos has a very fancy pose
Clay: Calydoll, Diggersby or Rhyperion would be a good pair
Brycen: Glaceon
Marlon: I can see him with Golduck, Vaporeon or Gyarados
Clemont: I think Galvantula is the best ace for him, but hey...
Olympia: I think Starmie fits nicely with her
Milo: for hunk boy, I agree with Gogoat, but I can also see Ludicolo and Abomasnow because of his clothes. The hat and the uniform respectively
Nessa: I think she SCREAMS Toxapex or Gyarados
Bea: ARE YOU CRAZY? She is the KARATE prodigy, Sawk, the KARATE pokemon, should be her ace. Hitmontop also fits her
Opal: for lady Opal I think shiny Aromatise would be THE BEST choise, color pallet and flurr are the same. And lady Opal kinda looks like those super rich upper east side grandmas who always wear Chanel Number 5... AND the big nose
Bede: for my son I think Galarian Rapidash is the only right choice

For Opal I think Granbull would be a good choice. I mean Galar is based on the UK so a British Bulldog seems fitting.

I'd choose Sandaconda or Mudsdale for Clay, both of them fit with his wild west-themed outfit.
And Tyrantrum for Drayden, both are rulers (Drayden is a mayor, and Tyrantrum is a tyrant), dinosaurs are sometimes related to elders, also Tyrantrum's jaw looks similar to Drayden's beard.

Honestly for Bryce I would of done froslass. They both have the weird arm things, and I associate froslass with drawing people in, almost like acting.

For Gordie and Melony I would've went with Alolan Golem and Alolan Ninetails. Not only are they aesthetically fitting for them but they're both Alolan forms so they have some relation to each other. Maybe they could've caught them during a family trip to Alola. Also I think Diggersby would've fit Clay much more than it would Lenora. It's all about digging just like Clay plus it kinda resembles him physically lol(it even has a southern accent when saying its name in the dub). Instead I'd give Lenora Auroras since its the only normal type fossil mon(and she owns a fossil museum).
Edit: In the first video of this series you gave Brock Alolan Golem but I'd replace it with Sudowoodo. In the post game of hgss Brock is looking to trade a Rhyhorn for a Bonsly. Also he has one in the Anime. So yeah that's just my way of freeing up some room for Gordie to have Alolan Golem lol.

I only disagree with clay, mainly because I think dugtrio could be more efficient in mining personally. Also just a minor thing I wish they did was make raihan a weather gym leader. If they did I could confidently say I'd have his ace be castform xD

For Cilan, Chili, and Cress: Leafeon, Flareon, and Vaporeon (Those three eeveelutions are pure types, can work for being chefs and has the basic starting moves that work for being the first gym battle. Tackle, Work up, Sand Attack and either Water gun, Ember, or Bullet Seed.)
For Drayden: Duraludon (Fits with his design and Drayden looks like the type of man who will stare you with a will made of iron.)

Hydreigon only works with Marnie is she had a level cap of 62 or higher. We need a legit Hydreigon on a trainers Pokemon team.
Bede and Marnie alter ace choices kinda complement one another as the dual types are weak against each other Gardevoirs fairy type might beat Hydreigons dragon type, the reverse can be said for Hydreigons dark type koing Gardevoirs psychic type.

Amped Toxtricity is more energetic like Roxie so thats the reasoning behind that. As for Typhlosion over Blaziken, Blaziken isn't really hot-headed and a lot more calm in comparison to Typhlosions literal explosiveness haha
