Bonnie Tyler. Holding out for a hero. You'll love it.
Little known song, but “here she comes is fantastic” too
Love Bonnie Tyler. Did you see what she posted during the eclipse in April, when this song was on demand on Spotify, etc.? "Every now and then it hits the charts." :)
You need to hear her sing Holding Out For a Hero
One of the best songs and videos of all time!!
80's by far had the best music. I loved growing up in the 80's. We were so lucky.
👍💯
The male singer is Rory Dodd a Canadian rock vocalist and I agree he nailed his part.
Canadians stole my ancestors land!
"turn around" guy is Rory Dodd, session singer for the writer Jim Steinman, appearing on many of his works.
when i was much much younger...bonnie tyler....oh my lord....yes please
Doug, this song was originally written about and for vampires, like the song "I'll do anything for love: by Meatloaf, it was written by the same person who wrote that.
Great song Bonnie Tyler is brilliant she recorded the original version of The Best that was covered by Tina Turner
Such a beautiful song 🥰
Great reaction!!!
¡Saludos, desde Argentina!
Amazing song written by Jim Steinman. And he truly enjoyed it because he wasn't watching the ridiculous video :) "Turn around bright eyes" is sung by Rory Dodd. An amazing vocalist who never got the fame he deserved as he stayed in the shadows doing background vocals.
MTV started it all !!!!!!!!!
3:51 🤣🤣🤣 i just realized homeboy on the left's shirt blew open....& I've seen rhis video a million times - since i was a kid. wtf?! lol.
When MTV first came on my cable system this was the very first video I got to see! Still love it!
Hey, Doug. As stated before, you need to check out "Holding Out For A Hero" from the soundtrack to the 80's mega smash teen movie "Footloose". It will change your life.
And the concept of music video's originated in the 70's when they had video juke boxes in bars and clubs. It wasn't until the very early 80's that MTV came along and the video's went from just performance's to concept mini-movies.
And for heavy voices also check out out Joe Cocker. He was kinda rock/folk/blues influenced. You might dig him.

You have to do Holding Out For A Hero too
Bro. That smoky voice! I tell you on the men's side, Kenny Rogers has a voice like that. Kenny Rogers Sweet Music Man would be a good one for reaction. Those 70s and 80s tunes knew how to hit the feelings.
True that mate……
KIm Carnes " Bette Davis Eyes" is right up there as well..
This was written as a vampire love song for a play that never got produced, thus the weird video.
