I don't want to see too much of Ramsey in game 1. Let him start and get the defense settled in... but with Ramsey a little banged up, and a short week for game 2... I'm happy to see what Bonner and Duck can do as guys who need to be relied upon to play key roles this season and beyond. This team should be able to dispose of the Jags quite comfortably, and I say that as someone who thinks the Jags are a definite playoff team this year.
High hopes for Bonner
Pure and simple... the premise of all conversations regarding CB depth is that Kader Kohou is an exceptional nickel-back (DB), but he should not be asked to play ONE SNAP as a boundary corner, barring extensive injury problems in the secondary. Bonner, Duck, Cam Smith, are all unquestionably ahead of him as a cover cornerback. People who don't understand that are just immediately disqualified from all secondary discussions. With that said... I'm excited to see them forced into action in week 1... it's a perfect chance to find out if the right choices were made in the 53-man roster.
Bonner is not ahead of Kohou in nothing regarding being a defensive back lol what has Ethan Bonner done?
@@jeffrey-Epstein00 To answer your question, he has (at any time in his NFL career) played a snap as a boundary corner and not sucked horrible a$$! More importantly, I said he's better... so he is!

Yup..he is not better than Needham nor Kohou. Which, boundary corner depth, is what the Fins need. Bonner is not bad. Just have to see, if this is his ceiling or does he have more?
They’re different players. Needham doesn’t have the speed you want in a boundary corner.
@@yitwailu2 Needum clocked at a 4.39 at his pro day. Bonner never had an interception in 4 years of college.
@@watergodtv Needham 40 time is wind aided. Not sure how great a stat INT is for DB. Needham had 3 in 46 games, Bonner 0 in 20 games, fwiw, but can’t get many INT if they don’t throw it in your direction. I’d also add that Chris Grier said “a number of teams” tried to trade for Bonner in the offseason, while nobody claimed Needham after they released him, but that doesn’t mean you don’t know more than they do.
