El acordeonista, compositor e ingeniero de sonido Marc Berthoumieux, es uno de los nombres consagrados del jazz en ese instrumento tan bello y peculiar que es el acordeón, del que Francia atesora algunos de sus mejores intérpretes. Ha colaborado, entre otros, con Charles Aznavour, Harry Belafonte, Didier Lockwood y Dee Dee Bridgewater. En 2011 grabó su álbum “In other Words” con Giovanni Mirabassi, comenzando una fructífera relación con el pianista italiano que los trajo a Jazz San Javier en 2014, en un proyecto especial del festival con Melanie Dahan. Si el acordeón tocado por un gran maestro, como es el caso, ya es una promesa de belleza, qué vamos a decir si se suma el piano tocado por un grande del jazz europeo, como Giovanni Mirabassi. Este cuarteto tiene potencial para llevar a la estratosfera a los aficionados al jazz del festival. Solo queda sentarse a escuchar y dejar fluir la belleza.

The accordionist, composer and sound engineer Marc Berthoumieux, is one of the consecrated names in jazz in that beautiful and peculiar instrument that is the accordion, of which France treasures some of its best performers. He has collaborated, among others, with Charles Aznavour, Harry Belafonte, Didier Lockwood and Dee Dee Bridgewater. In 2011, he recorded his album "In other Words" with Giovanni Mirabassi, beginning a fruitful relationship with the Italian pianist who brought them to Jazz San Javier in 2014, in a special festival project with Melanie Dahan.
