The Elephant bookends are beautiful! I also love the tray with the chickens, the set of green candle holders, and the state shaped baskets. I'm in NC and see them often but I've never been able to come up anything for them, so THANK YOU! I have a set of bookends in one of my booths that I've put off painting, but I just added them to my "short" list of "to-dos" along with a very large wall sconce that's currently gold.
I could not pick one favorite. I loved the chicken tray and I have wanted to do the molds, so that was helpful but I also liked the elephants bookends.
Ironically, Susie, I have magnolia bookends (for probably 20 years). I had thought about painting them all one color and waxing them, but after watching you, I think I will leave them alone! I have always loved them anyway, so why mess with satisfaction? You, like several thrifters I follow, seem to have decided to clear out your stash. Me, too! Don’t you bet the thrift stores are missing us? Lol. Liked everything you did today-it was all lovely. Thanks for sharing. Little late, but Happy New Year.
I snuck in one quick thrift store visit. Mainly looking for a certain color sweatshirt for the boy. Of course, you know I had to go through the home decor also!
Hello , I love your videos. I live in the same small town and hope to get to your booth soon. I love to thrift, but not very crafty. You make it seem easier. I love the rooster tray and the elephants. Roll Tide!
Hey Susie! If your dark or white wax is too much, try to apply clear over it, and the clear will act as an eraser. I've be able to get good results with DIY and Waverly wax by doing that. All your projects today came out great!
Ugh... You make it look SO Easy to do the molds... I have the exact same ones and it was NOT easy for me. Even with the micro rim, I can't seem to get it down 😔 your projects are ALWAYS beautiful though!
I completely agree, it just was not what I wanted at all. If I would have had more time maybe I could have done it better. I think not being patient was the main problem. It's not going to the booth for sure!
The elephants were my favorite. So elegant 😍😍😍
the Elephants and the candle sticks all turned out great. Love the tray with the chicken/rooster.
I love the last candlestick with a wooden round on top. Love dark old work and a distressed brass.. dark, rich and moody❤

Thanks so much for watching Pam! You will love Finders Keepers.
Yes, I used to have a booth there and worked there for awhile.
Beautiful! I think those Magnolias would look great with a darker wax or dark & decrepit added and wiped off
I think so too! Great idea

It just takes practice. You can do it!
It's hard to beat the dyi white wax. It's pricey for sure.
I love me some Alabama…………..
I like the elephants a lot but didnt like the cow pig tray. too messy, your work is usually much better.
I completely agree, it just was not what I wanted at all. If I would have had more time maybe I could have done it better. I think not being patient was the main problem. It's not going to the booth for sure!
No. Don’t paint colors. Just Antique it. Sorry😢
