The fact the Felipe can do a regular front blunt on the 16 almost every try is insane, let alone the flick in! And ryesa handled the back smith fast second session. This format was sick, thanks for the vid!
I am so incredibly happy for Filipe. met him the one and only time i got to visit the west coast at stoner. Such a nice kid. wish him all the success in the world
can’t put it into words how great this footage is, from the mental battle to the process of gaining his confidence was unreal. I could only dream of this trick, congratulations Felipe. You’re going to have an amazing career i know it. 🎉

oh god this video is so good man, that kickflip front blut went crazy, i almost gone in tears with filipe, i felt that too, btw thank you luis for picking up brazilians skaters to your videos, i as brazilian and skater appreciate that a lot! much love! 💕
I've been thinking this for a decade but never put it on wax, and I'm sure many have said this before, but I honestly feel like the true sign and skill of a pro skateboarder is their ability to BAIL properly and safely, rather than their sheer trick prowess. It is not luck that allows a person to avoid a rail to the crotch and then milliseconds later tuck and roll onto the cement so as to not break a leg bone or die. It is focused repetition and raw skill, straight up. Being able to figure all this out at such a young age is what sets these types of dudes apart. And anyone who does this for a living for 20-30 years, to keep coming back after every injury, truly incredible human beings who are up there with the top athletes of all time in my book. I've been skating since the mid 90's and still love it to this day, broken bones and all! Nothing but respect and love for all true skaters out there!!!
Yes and no, these guys all fuck themselves up dude. Don't kid yourself. You do not want to ask Jaws, Nyjah, Sheckler, or Milton about their past injuries lol. Knowing how to bail only gets you so far.
@@173jaSon371 Agreed. It's just the nature of skateboarding. You are going to slam HARD doing what these pros are doing. No amount of bailing "right" is going to matter.
To see the raw footage of felipe makes you realize am/pro go thru same struggles and battle but what's makes them special they fall and get back up for the win that's what makes them so GREAT AND SPECIAL
That is a trick you have to FULLY commit to! I always had a feeling that this kid could grow up to be next level. Now look at what he's already achieving? Still at pretty young age. INSANE!!
