This romantic novel round is possibly the best topic round I've ever seen on Mock the Week. Every gag and delivery was a total hit with many different themes.
I like how Ed Byrne keeps gets beaten to the mic stand by someone else.
Then, when he finally gets to the mic, he says:

That's simply not true, he's an incredible musician and singer/writer and certainly not overrated. By simply checking the charts you'd find tons of artists who are overrated, unoriginal and do nothing themselves. to group Ed in with them is bollocks and you (should) know this. Although I agree that Galway Girl is pretty mediocre in comparison to other stuff he's done.
