  • The Extreme Bull Griffin has been announced, and it looks to be a high performance all-around EUC that appeals to a wide audience. They aim to make it their direct competitor to the Leaperkim Lynx, and it does have a lot of advantages against it in the specs. But how will it truly perform? I detail the three (and a half) keys to success that Extreme Bull needs to do in order to ensure its success - and to destroy the Lynx.

    I'm definitely no expert but I feel like they're completely different wheels. The EB seems to be a street wheel whereas the LYNX is a "do it all" wheel. I would think with those low battery boxes and street tire, any serious off road riding is a no go. I feel like I can take my Lynx anywhere. The lynx is the swiss army knife of the EUC world in my opinion. It's not the best at any one thing but it's great at everything.

      Yeah it seems like they took the idea of the lynx, and optimized it (or at least tried) for racing/street use.

    They should actually make the weight heavier.
    The reason the Lynx get wobbles at high speeds and not as smooth as ET Max, V13 , GT Pro and other heavier wheel is because of the weight.
    Heavier wheel is good for going over 50 mph. It is a plus not a minus. Lighter wheels is for doing tricks and 35 mph or LESS

    Man... I'm about 300mi into my new Extreme Bull Commander Mini. It's a great wheel that's super fun and nimble, and I have no issues with it. I'm looking into a bigger wheel(20") and I'm seeing everything always being compared to the Leaperkim Lynx.. I feel like with the surge of new wheels, I should just get the Lynx. I've never ridden one but, I've seen so much content that it appears that the Lynx holds the Gold Standard amongst the herd. Why even bother with these new wheels if they're barely a contender and of less quality right off the production floor? I'm all eyes and ears but this video, along with many others, sure makes me want to hit 'BUY NOW' and get that Lynx heading my way.
    Thank you for another informative video!

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  5 днів тому +1

      Yeah the Lynx truly is amazing 😍 the only reason why I compare it so heavily to the Lynx is because this is EB's self-declared answer to it. They both appeal to wide audiences, but the Geiffin is markedly less expensive also. That said, my Lynx has provided me with the most fun I've ever had with my clothes still on 😂

      @@EUCme thank you so much! EB and Begode are separate companies, but they are closely aligned in many ways. Everyone knows the next advancement in wheels will be better then the ones before, that's the way it's been going and will continue. I like all everything about all those "master" type wheels expect for the suspension. I just hope they can create a wheel that can "cut out" safely without killing the self-balancing. That is something i can never understand. There needs to be a back up battery or power source, I'm sure in time they'll come up with something.

    I agree with your analysis, though I would think that EB also needs to upgrade their shock suspension. Did I hear someone say progressive springs? After having experienced the outstanding suspension on a demo ride with the Lynx, and owning and riding a Commander Mini with an unreasonably stiff suspension, I can truly say the difference is night and day. If EB doesn't step up in this area, and do something about it, my next wheel will be a LeaperKim, regardless of the other upgrades on the Griffin.

    I'm seeing a trend (starting with the Inmotion v13) Where you have these incredibly powerful, big volt wheels the but battery sizes that are the same as my 100V Nikola AR+. You get incredible performance, torque and speed - but for how long of a ride do you have before thinking about cut-outs? For me, I would like to see a minimum of 3,600wh - like the Sherman Max / S. I know it can be done - the Sherman Max weighs 86 lbs. Put that lightweight Lynx technology into it, and it would sell for me.

      @@117gilgamesh they like to think of themselves as separate entities. The GT Pro was always intended to be a street/racing wheel, while this one appears to be a much more diverse street/trail EUC that can "do it all". The GT Pro is very much of a niche wheel that only appeals to a small segment of the population and is not a big seller. This one, they hope, will be a huge hit for racers, regular street riders, jumpers and trail riders alike.

Man i bet you don't know how they calculated this shit and what does it mean, and you just assume that they written that something is more = it is better. I would like to remind you that KS S22 pro is also advertised as "4000W" mottor. How does that translate to output power of the wheel? Noone knows.

    • @WheelGoodTime

      The S22 (and pro) was weak because the mosfets and capacitors were not strong enough to handle the current load that the motor was rated for. Yes I realize that is an easy number to fudge and get away with that lie if they tried. For all we know, KS was fudging those numbers but I don't know for sure.
