Great train! Lovely scenery as usual.
Interesting to see the two together - they were hours apart when they crossed the border!
Amazing

@@bloggersarchive thank you!
A great video to end the season for the Jacobite with.
Hope we see it again next year.
Thanks! I hope to see it again too
brilliant zander the shot you got of the train at 00:20 has to be the best one.
Thank you! I was definitely not expecting that amount of power at that spot as it was just a minute or so away from the station.
@@Zander_Trains the reason for that kind of power may be due to the fact the highlands has got lots of hills
@@LDMTheTrainspotter yeah that would makes sense
Great video thanks 😊
Just Subscribed Scottish railways the best
Thank you, and thanks for subscribing!

Nice video
@@Trains664 thanks!
Lovely video 😊 Can anyone explain why the '5' was in steam, if (as I assume) she was being hauled or hauled/pushed by the diesel(s)?
Thank you! I believe it’s so that it is not running cold which can cause condensation in cylinders which can cause rust. Probably other reasons aswell
@@Zander_Trains Ah, okay. Thanks ☺
Is it just me! or is the `WCR` livery the dullest one out there? and why can`t they get the coaching stock to match? there is a right mix in that consist! That being said, I really want to go on it next year..
@@hornet1068 I wouldn’t mind going in it myself, although I have heard that a lot of the coaches aren’t in great condition looking like standard passenger ones, that might change next year though.
Great pity the coaches are mk2s and not mk1s.
@@IainDavies-z2l yeah, I have heard that these coaches aren’t in great shape
They just look out of place with a steam loco, and being AirCons they need an ETS loco as well.
