I just finished my first week by myself. 4 days straight. I'm here in Austin, Tx. The heat I can take but these old weird apts. Some of their numbering is just super wacky. I probably averaged about 40 stops this week. Gps takes me through tiny back alleys. I'm hoping to stay on this route only because I'm becoming familiar with the area. Majority of my route is old apts & all the way to the third floor. Anywho, I'll see how long it takes for them to fire me 😆
@@fragtall I'm doing way better. They keep adding apts to my route FML 🤣 School is starting for the college kids. They are ordering like crazy. The houses are A B & C units. wow is pretty easy in USA, here in mexico only deliver to person if they dont are in the house i can not leave the package , we download the truck we accommodate all packages on zones, then finally after 2 o 3 hous we go out to deliver 90 packages + before 10.30 pm
Hey bro I have watched a lot of your videos you are awesome any tips on organization in the white Vans with no shelf's smh lol but I'm in a sprinter tomorrow and hopefully forever more
What? That’s insane. My DSP pays us for our 10 hour shifts even if you finish 2 hours early or more. And supposedly we get paid $25 for any rescues we do
I'm curious.... You know when they start you on nursery routes and gradually move up to add way more packages to be delivered.. How fast were you able to finish your nursery routes and when they finally gave you a shit ton of deliveries how long did that take you? I been finishing my nursery routes at around 7 or 8 and I'm nervous I won't be able to handle it when they give me way to many deliveries..
So for me it all depends what time you start . When I started with my old dsp (715am) They would give me a nursery routes that would be like 40+ stops in the city and I would finish like at 1-2pm after a couple weeks they started to give me big route 160+ stops and I would finish like at 5-6 pm. I found out that its helpful to just pace yourself. You don't have to run. But just keep a steady pace. 🏃♂️📦
@@williamh604 they have us leave the loading area at around 10:55.. Do they really give you more and more to deliver if you finish fast? If that's the case I'm gonna keep going slowish lol

I agree. Going really fast has no incentive at all. It is true you don't get paid more than the driver next to you . However, if I can get out early and still get paid the same as the driver next to me. I'm going to get out earlier. I value my time very much.
