But I never give up! Love these Obstinate Purple Flames! What about you, guys, how often your pouring process goes out of the plan?
It happens all the time Olga, you are not alone! What i enjoy about watching you is you never give up, I see the look of, "now what" on your face and I know your not happy with the outcome! But you stick it out until you love your painting. Very nice.
Ur definitely not alone it happens all the time, I stand back, looking at my piece, think I'm done turn the camera off nop lol and then afterwards, it's a beautiful piece 😉
I've given up hoping my paintings go to plan! What I envision in my mind's eye and what ends up on the canvas is usually a surprise 🥴 But well done you and a good recovery 💕
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING AN "OFF" DAY! You make everything look so easy and it seems like everything you ever try or intend to make, turns out perfect! Seeing how YOU work through mistakes or just parts u don't like, helps me SO MUCH! I always feel stuck when things mess up, but seeing how u can work through it shows me tips to do the same. Anyway, another great post, thank you Olga!!! 😄😄
The thing I love best about acrylics is that you can always paint over something that isn't working. Then there are times I will just start over on top. I don't do pours, so I would think if you are going to pour over or re-use a canvas you would have to do more than just gesso it. Probably sand it down especially if it is a wood canvas.
I would send you the world's smallest blower if I knew where to send. It's an amazing tool. I absolutely love this!! You are so talented and creative! Thank you for sharing!!
I was impressed that you showed what made you unhappy with your painting and how you changed it to bring you joy. That was an interesting journey to happiness. It was beautiful.
What is it about your struggle paintings that I love so very much? Maybe it’s the transformation and the journey you and the painting go on throughout the video. I think you did an excellent job taking this painting through a few ugly stages into a beautiful ending.
Love the way you never give up ……… you have such a huge determination to make things work the way you want them. I would’ve given up and started again 😂😂
I was holding my breath as you were pushing through! Your calm anxiety and resilience reminding me of those frustrating moments when we try to create our ideas. The result is spectacular! Thank you for always sharing your art with those who can't afford it 🤗 At least we get to see the magick happen 🌪🌟
So gorgeous ❣ It’s nice to see that a great artist can have the same issues as me! 🤣 It is wonderful to see your correction process, too! Thanks for sharing it.
The purple outcome makes the whole picture’s identity really sparkling keep doing more colors of paint you have at home to use for your next paintings Olga
So pretty! I was totally feeling for you…some paintings just fight back! 😆 I also never would have thought to do a mini pour in the middle of a dry painting! Brilliant idea to do that and then brush-blend it in.
I loved the process! You went from a quiet Sunday afternoon to a pizza party when all the kids drop in! Both great but totally different energies! Love it!
It was nice to see that not all your paintings come out great on your first try. Thank you for still posting and sharing with us your struggles. I am not a big fan of a solid shape along side Dutch pour paintings, so it was nice that you gave up the round shapes and worked with what you had on the canvas. And look at how beautiful you made it come out. POW! Love it!
I am coming to realize that many of the UA-cam channels I love most are not afraid to show the process of figuring out how to fix things that they don't like, that they struggled with, even showing abject failures. The process is fascinating but I also appreciate people who aren't afraid to just keep going until they get it right - or not. Like Julia Child, who just laughed it off when something didn't turn out, making a whole legion of fans who weren't afraid to just... cook!! It encourages people to try things and not stress about messing up. The imperfection of life and the will to just keep going is a beautiful, human thing. I love this painting! It turned out beautiful.
Thank you for showing us that everyone struggles. You sharing your thoughts makes the process and outcome more inspiring. From beginning to the final results I saw a star exploding. Nature is beautiful.
Olga, this piece gave you a run for it, but I have to say is that, you NAIL it... Very beautiful now... I saw the flame in the first part, but now it looks so much better. Your so talented, thank you for sharing this with us all.
I loved it at the very beginning. My daughter stated that it reminded her of something in outer space. I have never seen you struggle so much. It turned out awesome
Olga you are one persistent woman! And that's such a wonderful thing because this is a beautiful painting! I love the colors and all the detail you put in and embellishments were perfect!
Loved watching your process on this painting. Congratulations on your beautiful painting and your resilience. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😁🤗
Was that prophetic? The secret message of that painting really proved point! You really captured that with your keeping on until you achieved what you wanted! I think this is amazing!
As u were working and working this piece, I was thinking, "well, you did write resilience. How fitting." 😄 It turned out beautiful, Olga. I love how u didn't give up, and showed us that things can be fixed. I love purple and I like the contrasting colors u chose.🥰💜❤🧡🤍💕🤎
This one turned out really cool! I liked when you had the small circle in the center because it looked like a galaxy with a black hole in the center, but it turned out great.
Hey Olga, I love these purple glows, so pretty. how you have touched it up. Very feminine. I have been away for a couple of weeks and the colours look so good, really vibrant, Something feels different. Whatever it is, keep doing it. The whole setting looks like your own show. You are such a pro! Have a faab week, ML fro the UK xxx
Hi! Acrylic paint is mixed with water only to a fluid consistency. I add approximately 30-50% of water to my colors. There is no exact % or proportion because this ratio depends on initial paint viscosity, which significantly varies from brand to brand and even from color to color.
I really love that you show the whole process. It's the fixing the "mess ups" and doing touch ups that really makes me interested and helps me learn. I appreciate that instead of just cutting to the end result. Turned out beautifully!
Awesome!! I am always afraid to play around with it wet after I use the hairdryer... You're brave!! Love the process of this piece, learned a lot. Beautiful colors together!
Turned out very nice in the end. I personally prefer the more organic negative spaces over the the forced, perfect circles. Thanks for sharing your creativity and fun personality!
