Tommy is actually very mature especially for his age, like outside his persona I really like how he handle sensitive topics and how he ask people's perspective on stuff. MotherInnit and FatherInnit definitely raised a good son, I don't agree with everything he ever said but I can respect him.

I think its BS that he has to be stopped from expressing his opinion on such a strong statement, i think Tubbo was fully right in giving his opinion on it and shouldnt have been criticised on it
@@koenhaan2045 He didn't know what it meant, he didn't know it was referring to the system and not the individual cops. I agree with him in a certain part, not all cops are bad people. But that's not what ACAB means. Tommy was educating Tubbo on a topic he knew nothing about, Tubbo doesn't/didn't have an official opinion on it. It wasn't "his opinion on such a strong statement" if it had nothing to do with the statement mentioned.

I am not going to assume your race, maybe it might be to do with your age, but the reason tubbo can be ignorant and not know anything about it & only have “good experiences” with the police is because he is in a place of privilege of being a white male. The reason he doesn’t know anything about it, is because he’s never experienced racism/ discrimination from the police, therefore he’s never had to worry about it, therefore not even realising it was a thing because of his privilege and that does not deserve pity. I am mixed, I live in England, and I’m also younger than tubbo. The people getting “mad” and being “offended” are just mad because a lot of us are the actual victims to what ACAB stands against and people like tubbo would NEVER be a victim to it so he wouldn’t understand and he does not deserve pity for that. I don't know if this applies in the UK, but in America I can tell you for sure how to approach a girl.
First, for you in specific Tommy, only talk to girls who are either wearing sweatshirts or look like they wish they were at home. That will boost your chances of being liked. Pretend you know her from one of your classes, because if she's polite she'll ask where she knows you from. Then you can sneak in a bit about yourself, like "Aren't you in my theater class?" When she says no, you can walk with her wherever she's going. If you're at school, try to get her to walk a little slow so that you'll both be late. Trust me, nothing is more cute than a guy smiling at you before rushing off. If you play your cards right, she won't even mind being late! On the first time you see her, don't mention anything about your youtube or anything. If you bring it up later, you'll seem really humble. Try to get her to talk about herself. If she's wearing a college sweatshirt, ask her about it. If she's wearing a sports team hat, ask her about it. Try to carry the conversation as best you can. People love to talk about themselves, but you need to be reassuring. Especially when she's a quiet girl, you have to make sure she knows she isn't talking too much. Look at her as much as you can, smile whenever you can, laugh as much as you can, and add those little nods and comments like "yeah" or "that's right." Also, try to figure out her schedule. This will be very important later! Be funny as much as you can. I don't know a single girl that doesn't appreciate a funny guy. You kind of have to judge her sense of humour as you talk. She may like the clever kind of jokes that take you a second to understand, or she may like the more slapstick kind of jokes. Call it like you see it for that one. Also, try to laugh with her, but not too much. If you tell a joke and she doesn't laugh, don't laugh. If you tell a joke and she laughs a little, don't laugh. If you tell a joke and she laughs a ton, make sure to laugh with her. I know me and my friends tend to get really self-conscious when we laugh to much at a joke, especially a stupid joke, especially in front of a guy you like. So laugh as much as she does so she doesn't feel bad for finding something funny. And keep smiling!
And when you finally have to part, casually suggest that you too should hang-out sometime. Don't do it awkwardly (not that girls don't love a good awkward boy [see also georgenotfound]) because they may take it too seriously. If you say it like you're embarrassed, they will feel like you're asking them on a date, and they will be more nervous. Be super casual so that it just feels like your hanging out with a friend. You can build on the relationship from. Hopefully when you ask her this, she'll suggest a time and place, or even just give you her number, but if she doesn't, you have to rely on what you learned from the conversation. Try to "accidentally" bump into her at some point the next day (don't do same day that's awkward) and continue the conversation. Suggest again that you should hang out sometime, and maybe even suggest a place yourself. See how it works. This took 10 billion years to type, so if you made it this far, bless you and have a nice day!

i really appreciate what they were saying about acab when the topic came up. I'd like to give my own perspective, someone who IRL is very passionate about activism, but is also working to become an established content creator and entertainer.
it truly is a sensitive subject, something you need to tread very lightly on, because it's extremely important to a lot of people for a lot of reasons. However what i'm about to say is purely from my perspective, so take it with a grain of salt.
Spamming things like "BLM!" or "ACAB" or "TRANS RIGHTS" or anything like that, in something like a twitch chat, does not help the image of activists looking for change. There's a time and a place for things. I'm someone who in his personal life, is very politically charged, and i'd consider myself to be an activist, however when i'm on the internet it's a different story.
sometimes i feel like two different people. I have a personal account, where i talk more about politics and important issues, and i have a brand account, which is this one. I make minecraft videos, my goal is to entertain and let people escape from the real world. I want people to be able to forget about the heavy shit in the real world for a little while, because at the end of the day it's all a block game made for kids. I personally think pressuring creators to be vocal over certain issues when it isn't the main focus of their content is a bad thing. Whenever i see people like Dream get donations like "can you say trans rights?" it irks me. Not because of the fact it's trans rights (something i support), but because it's completely unrelated to his content. All of his videos are him having a good time goofing around with friends in a videogame, so why would you take that and cram real issues into it? It's harmful.

I totally agree with this but with one note: Sometimes people will say ‘Will you say trans rights’ in donos for validation. I know well before I have asked creators to say I was valid because I hold their opinions high as someone who has shaped my childhood, it’s less about the political aspect with a lot of those particular donos but more of a validation aspect, your wording was very well thought out though :) also I want to check your content out it sounds nice :D

@@lilalovesu3373 Well a lot of People will say “all cops are bad” but the acab movement is about reforming the police (to the best of my knowledge) and it really stands for “all cops are bastards” (in a bastardized system) and the people fighting for this are fighting for relocating police weaponry funding into better training for situations and academies to root out the “bad apples” (because in such a profession there really is no room for “bad apples”) The people fighting for acab understand that a lot of cops __are__ good, and __are__ fighting for what’s right, it’s just their system that’s having them participate in corruption, and even the police officers who are good apples are pressured into covering up for their coworkers misdeeds. That is just my two cents, this was meant to informational and I hope it didn’t come off as hate, sorry it was so long :)
i think nagging nonpolitical content creators to get political is annoying, but its ok to say lil political taglines in their chat. especially trans rights. i dont know if saying trans rights in a twitch chat is positive towards the progression of trans rights, but maybe not everything is about optics, maybe its just some kids having a good time and they get something out of vocalizing support for some movement. maybe it could make certain people feel more included in that community
