This song makes me think of Easter Sundays as a child. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I was trying to think of a song to sing to my unborn baby and i immediately thought of this song!.

We used to sing when I was growing up at My. Carmel Baptist Church in Roberta GA under the direction of Mrs. Annie L. Colbert! Thank you Mrs. Annie Lou. You definitely are a part of my foundation serving The Lord.

Only glorious joyful grateful Fellow Saints singing the praises of Christ our King of kings and Lord of lords forever. :) He is Risen indeed and is coming back to set up his New Heavens and New Earth where we will live with our glorified bodies forever.
I sang it 60 years ago in the Cherub Choir back at Beulah Baptist Church. I was all of 8 years old. Still remember it every Easter weekend. Some things never change☺
It's not Easter if I can't hear this even if I have to sing it to myself. I learned this at Monutental Baptist Church in Chicago at 5or 6 years ago in Sunday School and we sang it to the adults in church on Easter. Learning to love christ at a young age. ❤🤎😻💯
I have great memories from this song right here, I can remember singing it with the wrong words as a very younger child, me and two of my younger siblings we were maybe no more than; 4, 3 & 2, just singing our hearts out and the ppl laughing we thinking they laughing cost we singing so well, I can still see my Big Mamma, smiling so proudly @ us...I miss her soooo much she knew how to make me feel good about myself, I loved her so much...RIP Big Mamma Maggie.
