Stone Henge is a national heritage site, and before you could go up to the stones and stand among them, but people being people, stole pieces, defaced and trashed the place so they put up barriers and prevent people from gettin close. When I went as a kid we could do a small circle around the perimeter of the stones, but couldn't go up to them, I remember getting snow globe from the gift shop and some of the 20 quid is to pay for the up keep of the grounds. It's still a cool place to see at least once.
People are so flippin' disrespectful. I am again reminded of this incredibly old tree, which was practically a landmark, getting burned to ash because some lady decided to smoke in it's trunk and sparked a fire. People just don't...think about the world around them.
This reminds me of that beach that had huge crystal rocks, called Bubble Beach I think. It used to be beautiful but people go there and steal the rocks, Turing a beautiful millions of years natural beauty into a polluted beach. Disgusting.
At Stonehenge festival we could do ceremonies among the stones ,couples had druid wedding amount the stones . The damage was caused by tourist chipping bits off as souvenirs, ruining the mystic experience for all those who treated it as a sacred site .
@@Niki-xr6cwI guarantee it was mostly American “Christians” who have no respect for anyone else’s beleif. A marriage at Stonehenge with people probably dressed in fantasy elf style clothes sounds awesome.
This comment has both taught me something new and ruined a large part of my child hood lmao I did not know that reboot happened😂 Edit:Reboot not rabbit
Mr. Ballen actually talked about Snake Island in one of his videos of Places You Can’t Go To. Also 60 Minutes Australia did a segment on it as well and is on youtube very informative.
the stone henge thing is not clear cut, as it is likely to fall under the national trust (an organisation that upkeeps historical buildings mountains etc) the price was probably the entry fee as they weren't a national trust member (which gets you access to national trust properties without said entry fee) tldr: they ain't a member of the organisation that upkeeps the thing most likely
The stone henge is pay for now and fenced of because a couple years ago people vandalised it so the also have security to watch it all day everyday now not 100% sure but the fee is probable to pay for restoration and the wages
They have to charge if you’re actually inside Stonehedge because they have to have workers making sure no one puts up graffiti or breaks off chips to have a cool Momento. They don’t come free, these are like park workers.
There still is a Gum wall in San Luis Obispo, I saw it recently. However, it's not called The Gum Wall, it's called Bubblegum Alley. Look up SLO Bubblegum Alley there's plenty of stuff on it.
The thumbnail of his video showing the review by a pat davis, I found a guy who's a local guide with that same pfp but his name isnt pat davis, its lewis bone and the actual review is different. So Jon took the time to change the name and review of a review someone left but kept the pfp.
stone henge is owned by the nation al trust foundation who own all old manor house and some castles gardens ect the money paid to go to any of their sites funds the trust

The explanation i remember hearing about Osama being dumped in the sea was to prevent people trying to get to his burial site if it was on land.
Magic short bus’s intro is 10x better than the entirety of magic school bus rides again

Heaven forbid you go and pay a fee that goes towards a fund for preservation and upkeep of national monuments.
Jontron is like my dad I only see him 3 times a year if I’m lucky
JonTron's like my dad. I'm still debating whether he's my dad or not.
I wish for this except never seeing my one just ever.

I enjoy breathing too much to go to any place named after a dangerous animal.

Not all heroes wear capes!
Shame that the guy who guest starred died not too long ago. Dude was funny and it would have been great to see another collab video with him.
Oh dam that actually looked like a action movie the intro 😂

Nah, it's 1: Ms. Frazzle, and 2: she's strawberry blonde at best.

If someone complains about the part where you were searching the review, don't give in to them.
1. It's pronounced Mol-deevs
2. It's pronounced War-rick
Just saying.
Fun fact the gum wall needs to be cleaned once a year because the gum is so acidic it eats away at the walls
