Scott Sawyer - 5 Spot Rehearsals - November 2006, Go There Recording Sessions

These are the rehearsals leading up to the recording of Scott Sawyer's original composition, '5 Spot', during the 'Go There' album recording sessions that took place November 27th - 29th, 2006. Scott Sawyer on guitar, Kofi Burbridge on organ, Oteil Burbridge on bass, Kenny Soule on drums, and audio engineer Chris Garges. It was the first time Scott & Kenny ever played with Kofi & Oteil, and there was instant chemistry. This recording is 5 shorter tracks cut together and not mastered in any way. It's basically rough mixes of studio chatter, them fleshing out the song... I find it interesting to listen to, all these years later... Although this was Scott's album, he bounced ideas off the other guys throughout these sessions, and you can hear Kofi "directing a lot of traffic", so to speak...
