i'm a lesbian but i see your point, Rcbquark.. i mean it helped me a lot when i discovered others living "normally" despite being gay.. but i sometimes think: why do you have to exaggerate? that's why some people don't think homosexuality is normal.. in this clip i actually think it's hilarious because it's obviously a show for gays :D
but i think about the competition: straight people do it all the time! so i think it's only fair if gays do it as well.. if only in a little gay show :D
I can sort of understand that it helps people have confidence to come out or whatever when others display being gay with pride, but it still kind of bugs me when people make a big deal about it. People will say its cuz i must have a problem with it but that isn't true. You don't see people playing who is the most female. Its like an act of rebellion or something, oppressed groups flaunting their status as an F U to their oppressors. That must be it. I however am bored.

Actually, Im fairly sure tegan was slightly intoxicated in this. In the later interview with both tegan and sara, she alludes to it. They seem to get along fine. I don't know what you're talking about. I've seen far worse interviews.

so i just talked to liz tonight (oct 16th) at the tegan and sara concert in LA, and she told me that she had just finish shooting an interview w/ both tegan and sara.... so keep your eyes open for that coming soon!!!!!
