Dan Andersson is one of my relatives. The hotel didn't evacuate in a proper way. He left a wife and infant daughter behind. He is also one of Swedens greatest poets.
The statue of liberty was actually a gift from the French for winning the revolutionary war. It wasn't always greenish-grey either, it's made of, I believe, bronze, so it's current color is just a couple centuries of weather wear. There's a colorized photo of it when it was new, it's a rich vibrant golden color.
No worries, I do the same thing. Sometimes I'll go back to those I'd watched and hit that like button, while I'm there I'll just watch it again anyway.
That one where the guy shot himself and killed the wife is actually true.... It wasn't that guy hut it was someone else who shot through the ceiling and killed a family member upstairs but didn't die from the self-inflicted injuries. 😑😔 17:10 - I get what Austin is saying, it was a thing back then to have a cool story about people in war... That is definitely true but I'm trying to imagine that was his way of being cocky while kind of trying to get shot. 😂 Also the sword swallower guy also died by cutting an artery... The car one is funny as hell too. I remember the car was only doing like 12mph too.... 😂
It was neat to hear that tidbit of information on Jessi Combs but also sad to hear her name brought up here in this context, as with many of us here who were interested in cool special effects and science from a young age her name is one that's hard to forget at the very least because of the shows she was on; namely one that was a foundation of mine and many others' childhoods although she wasn't on it for long... Jessi Combs was Kari Byron's replacement on Mythbusters for the second half of 2009's season when the latter was away while pregnant with her first child.
As an aside, Wim Hoff also gave himself an enema in a public pond and the water pressure on the jet was so high it sliced his bowels open. This was -possibly- because he was trying to get sympathy from his kids who he had abandoned.
The story about a man who commits self delete and pew pews himself and his lady is an urban legend. Basically, it was a smear campaign created against the ATF at some point in history. It's also a Mandela effect thing, since some swear they remember seeing news articles for it. Very interesting story.
whoever was writing for this game was was probably a metal head. They had to bring up Randy Rhodes, and they named someone K.K. Downing in one of their made up scenarios 😆
You guys joke about the guy being in sight for 1 day, when the Hard Rock Hotel in New Orleans collapsed in 2019, a construction worker un alived in the accident and layed in plain sight from the street for 10 months before a crew was able to recover him
Jared just casually missing Austin's killer Bad Dragon joke.😂
Underrated joke
i almost spit out my coffee, austin is such a funny dude
Or his carbon dating joke
i cant believe nobody noticed that when Jared turned the spin wheel it moved to another option, it originally stopped at "Austin does impressions"
YEP LMAO, I figured the guy behind the camera would've pointed it out but he was probably looking at his phone.
That wheel did not stop on Death trivia 😂😂😂
LOL this is so funny in hindsight
Am I the only one who thought this was going to be Jared quizzing Austin about the band Death?😂😂
I thought it was gonna be about generally death metal
@@marcelszekowski315they would fail terribly

The hotel didn't evacuate in a proper way.
He left a wife and infant daughter behind.
He is also one of Swedens greatest poets.
The automobile bit was one of the funniest things on this channel. I’m so glad that you guys are back.
"They couldn't hit an elephant from this distance"
No, but they could hit you.
The fact that Randy Rhoads was on there 😂
21:32 "What does that mean?!"
"I don't know dude, I'm just sayin' stuff..."
Austin is genuinely like one of maybe three youtubers that I actually laugh with. Would love to chill and have a beer with the guy.

Famous Last Words was the phrase I think you guys were looking for during the general's death by sniper question
I think the Statue of Liberty was like a centennial gift or something so around 1876ish
Oh
Sometimes I genuinely forget to like the videos.
I’m going to try and do better for the boys. Keep it up guys!!!!
No worries, I do the same thing. Sometimes I'll go back to those I'd watched and hit that like button, while I'm there I'll just watch it again anyway.
Of course it's false... K.K. Downing was the guitarist in Judas Priest, he's still alive I think.
Came here to point this out hahaha
thats what i was was thinking!
I for a second thought it was a stage name named after this dead guy lol
Bro Jared thought the Statue of Liberty was built in the 1960s😂😂😂
That part about the car around 19:42 was brutal. 😂
1:24 hey austin, watchu smokin on? hope it´s some of that good sh.. 🤣
Always uploading bangers!! The Dickey Dines show is better than internet television 🤘
12:23 “he died from it cause like, wtf” by Graystone coming soon
Actually you can't miss with bad dragon: they have a nice "scale image to a credit card" feature.

It was a drink called radium or something like this and, Dicky's right
7:50 featuring Kmac2021
I was going to say isn't KK Downing a guitarist for Judas Priest?
The most unknown gnarly metal history trivia. From past to present of metal lore.
The pickle moment always cracks me up
9:00 "Did we even have records back then" Jared... wtf
I tried to follow Austin's advice and not look, but then I realized it was going to be an integral part of the show.
As an aside, Wim Hoff also gave himself an enema in a public pond and the water pressure on the jet was so high it sliced his bowels open. This was -possibly- because he was trying to get sympathy from his kids who he had abandoned.
wat?
For Bridget Driscoll, the car was probably going no faster than 10mph
Asking if the statue of liberty was built in 68 is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Bro I just got this game as a Christmas gift 😂

Yo that's crazy I had sepsis back in may from my motorcycle accident. Literally almost killed me but thank God for modern tech and medicine.
K.K. Downing from Judas Priest isn't dead you silly!
Lmao Austin’s casual vape hits. I see you 👀
Martha Jones? Someone making this game is clearly a Doctor Who fan or it is a really common name.
You know what? Death Trivia sounds like a killer band name. (Although they sound like a split cover band between Death and Trivium.)
Which Death though? Early metal or proto-punk?
Scavenger of the Conflagration in my Eyes
bro, Austin's Aussie accent killed me, what a moment xd
whoever was writing for this game was was probably a metal head. They had to bring up Randy Rhodes, and they named someone K.K. Downing in one of their made up scenarios 😆
that accent was so fucking bang on
Awww....I thought this was about the band "Death" 😅
You guys joke about the guy being in sight for 1 day, when the Hard Rock Hotel in New Orleans collapsed in 2019, a construction worker un alived in the accident and layed in plain sight from the street for 10 months before a crew was able to recover him
Jared needs to be the smashing pumpkins new guitarist. On the real.

"your wife has been pickled" austin dickey, 2024
It's time to spin the wheel of dickey-cality
The moment i saw the thumbnail Elvis Presley came to mind.
Yikes lol.
Austin was right lol she got run over at the reckless speed of 4mph 6.44kph and died from a fractured skull 😂😂
The statue of liberty was a gift from the French in the early to mid 1800's. I don't remember what year exactly
And that's what I get for pausing lol
Bro the Lazarus effect lol
Hey since Wim Hoff was mentioned look up what he did after seeing his soon in the park for the first time in a decade or so
OK I know Austin is funny as hell, but it seems like Jarred ate some gummies before this one or something😂
Statue of liberty was built in 1886 then restored 1934, 1984, and 2011 to answer the question, not that it matters.
This channel is just a friend simulator.
That jesse combs joke was out of pocket bro 😂
Austin sounded half new zealander half irish.
commenting for the algorithm to push my favorite channel
wasn't the flat earther who crashed his rocket not actually a flat earther? wasn't he just using flat earthers to fund his rocket hobby?
Jessi Combs actually was an awesome woman. Such a tragedy about her accident
The girl got killed by a car going a reckless speed of 4mph.
the statue of liberty was built in Paris in the 1800's and moved to new york city
ALSO it wasn't 1876. it was built between 1881 and 1884.
Umm it didnt land on that one it changed when u picked it up
K.K. Downing by the way famously one of the guitar players of Judas Priest. Could there have been multiple KK's ehh uhh uhh 👎
Edit: other metal heads were already on the scene
As a history teacher, your guys’ lack of any historical knowledge hurts my soul 😂 love you guys though
A pickle solution, would imply that it's not all pickle 🥒 wtf😂😂😂😂, sometimes it's the name, or stuff like the pickle
Snaak
