I love Spain. I cant wait for go again. My father was sick of the lungs and cured with the calm and the weather in southern Spain. Thanks Spain... you give a second chance to my father. Gretting from Norway.
I am an American I lived in Salamanca, Spain when I was a foreign exchange student. Best time of my life! If I can get a job I will move to Spain. Salutations from California, USA!
I would like to try living in Spain but I would hate to be somewhere where there are lots of English people who refuse to learn Spanish, integrate in to the community or are a burden on the health service in later life, have to rely on interpreters etc. People have no excuse to learn a language these days, specially if they are retired and have nothing to do! There are lots of resources available for learning. As an English person I am embarrassed by my fellow natives that are too lazy or ignorant to learn the local language and try and integrate in to the community, cultures, etc.
wauuu you are one of the very few people I've heard say the same as you ... I live in Barcelona and as you know here there are many English, most do not even try to say the greeting in Spanish! I do not say that they speak perfect, but if the basics! because I do not believe at all that if I go to the United Kingdom to have a coffee in a cafeteria they speak to me in Spanish ... and I do not talk to you about young people who get drunk, they make a fool of themselves! huvo once they made a musical event in the street on the beautiful church and the typical drunken English guy got in the middle doing the clown, a shame and disrespect, I do not think that the Spaniards lack the respect towards your customs, parties things like that and if I saw him I would break his head ... I'm sorry for my English, I hope you understand :)
That was a lovely video, the people you interviewed are so nice, very lovely people, I'm so glad they like the Spanish and that they chose Spain the country of my ancestors.
Having traveled quiet a bit in my life I must admit Spain is still one of my favorite places.. I'm from the UK and have lived in Florida for the past 9 years.. I've just moved to Trinidad and Tobago (work related) and with luck will be moving to southern Spain for good next year.. I cannot wait :)
Hi there, we've been enjoying watching this. It's so good to discover how we can share and learn so much from each other through channels such as yours. Look forward to more from you.
Living Walks Thank you. So nice to get good vibes on UA-cam these days! Btw, I checked out your Granada walkthrough video and I really liked the shots and smoothness of the cam. Any reason you’re not doing audio commentary as you go?
Hi there, good to hear back from you. We agree it's good to have dialogue and share generally, which is why we are here. Feel free to subscribe if you'd like to support us, it's free of course, no agenda but you get to see more of this area, as we'll soon put more up. Regarding no commentary - We're very interested in 'slow TV', no presenters, muzak, opinion, just an unchanged and immersive walk with natural sounds and real time sights. We may be adding some subtle words to future video's though, just to give salient information. Thank you for adding your video's we look forward to sharing more content between us.
Hello there, do you have a central heating in Spain? is it warm enough inside houses or apartments to be sleeveless?Everywhere inside apartments - including bathrooms. Have houses or apartments the heating floors? thanks for respond.
Take a look at the Canary Islands, the weather there is ALWAYS nice and, since the islands are far from Spain mainland they have "soft" taxes and its quite full of british and germans. I lived there for 7 years. My best wishes and a salute from Valencia, Spain.
What is really funny is that when you ask a spaniard that lives abroad what he misses most about spain we usually say food, people, lifestyle, etc. while in this opposite case most of them say the don't miss anything in particular. It's interesting.
I'm moving to Spain when um 18 because my mom doesn't want to move from America. I tell her its beautiful and the people are not ignorant and that we ourselves are Spanish. My grandparents are from noja.
@eltanonn Thats crap, they are the same with all nations .they are out to get your money,in fact they call the tourists and people who live their credit cards on legs.
haha I like your sense of humor. Those guys that I know of and who have been to this country numerous time can't say spaniards are more friendly than other Europears. Whether some person is friendly or not only depends on the person, not on what nationality he/she belongs to.
Some like simple people cos when you're going on holiday to another country, you're going there to relax, you don't want things to get too complicated there, the same is for people.
Well, in my experience Italians are more friendly than Germans, I´d feel more comfortable amongst the former, but yes, it depends on the individual, and we all have our own preferences. Nordic people are cold, reserved, introvert, but not Syrians, Moroccans, Mexicans who are quite the opposite.
she was joking lol this was that kind of a joke which you're unable to understand. you know, when some person wants another person to give him/her money he/she will try to be friendly.

@karezza6 You probably visited Andalucia which is the most poor and uneducated region in Spain. Catalonia or Navarra are completely different to Afro-ndalucia
Eso de afroandaluz ??? Lo has soñado. Vete a África y compara.
If Germans or British, or Swedish are introvert, reserved, unfrriendly, shy, that´s not my invention, I used to be like that when I was a child, when I was immature, so I used to be a German when I was a kid, ha ha, that´s simply psychology.
beautiful country indeed, but with a terrible economy. a co-worker that lived in spain from 2000 to 2011 said to work in spain is hard because of a disasterous economy.
Am I glad to be Spanish!! i live in United States many nice people here also, i also know fluent English and well as they say here Freedom and liberty!!. I wonder how much money will i need to live in Spain???? If i had 15,000 dollars will it be possible to live in Spain comfortably or will i have to be a millionaire? Oh well at least visiting is kind a cheap.
Yes, Nordic people are more rational, more modern than others, but also they are colder, more distant, reserved, like a child or teenager should be compared to the adults. Every nation has good things and bad qualities. I wouldn´t say Nordics are nice, people to share something, to be comfortable around them, to do something with them, but they have the other qualities like everybody has.
@buscotrabajo28 You can learn to speak another language in less than a year if you go to that country, learning at your own country with zero interaction with the language and culture will take years upon years and half the things you learn from books are outdated.
I enjoyed very much watching this video. it's great. I'm from Spain. I didn't understand quite a few words because the people interviewed spoke too fast!! but OK! it's fantastic! thank you very much
@buscotrabajo28 Whats the point, most of you speak english. Sorry, only joking. We have the same problem in England. Unfortuantly its the way of the world, so try not to let it make you angry.
Not for them really, foreigners have it easier to find a job related to their language and even more so in a coastal small town that benefits from tourism the difference would be for Spaniards really.

Not for them really, foreigners have it easier to find a job related to their language and even more so in a coastal small town that benefits from tourism the difference would be for Spaniards really.
I had heard that Spaniards call a foreigner *"un pájaro migratorio"* (a migratory bird), if they travel to their home country for a period each year.
cool
british food is really nasty and expensive
I don´t wish too cold.

That`s true, actually. I`m Mexican, and they don`t really like Mexicans either.
Yes, there are hot pretty women in Turkey, India, Brazil, I love them too, although those places are not the best at night life, freedom, tolerance, but their women are the most beautiful in my own opinion.
Yes, because here we have the climate, the food, the lifestyle, and pretty hot women, do you see it now? The problem is work, jobs, the only fault.
Food in other countries is not very good, they like a bad simple insipid sandwhich and that´s all, they are good for music and films, though.
I don´t agree with you about other non Spanish women, I don´t fancy them, I prefer national produce.

@DinoSmurf1You're so wrong!!!!. There are Ignorant, arrogant, violent and racist people everywhere in general. Just because you found 2 or 3 unkind people doesn't mean every Spaniard is the same. Anyway, you've been to the two cities in Spain were people are a bit "weird" in the sense that they don't open up to people until they get use to them. You should have come to the Canary Islands or should have gone to Andalusia.
PS: Are you an angry Dutch or something?, hahahaha...
LEARN SPANISH!
I agree with you except for the women. There are hot women pretty much everywhere... and also not so beautiful everywhere as well lol
have you tried others? Maybe you were not lucky enough ;-)
...and why do the Brits walk around with expressionless faces if they like the place so much ??...come over and you'll see them...lol !!
Maybe because the Brits aren´t generally very expressive or extroverted people ;)
but they are very loud when they mix with folk they know...have you noticed that ?...insecure race of colonists...lol !!
Its probably part of their upbringing, showing emotion makes the person look weak, and with poor manners.
We are talking about people here, not about weather. Reserved, introvert etc are the labels that you keep pinning on people that you aren't able to understand, for your own excessive narrow-mindedness.
