Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 вер 2024
- This is a feature we did on Robert Marjan's R32 GTR in Motive DVD. At the time it ran a 10-flat on a slippery runway surface. The car has since run a 9.28@155mph at WSID.

And people still say money can't buy happiness.
Only broke people say that.. Lol
its always temporary happiness, people get bored of material things quick. You want what you can't have and when you have it you sell it for something else, we are never content.
@@ademiteshut up
"i already own a very quick silvia. Actually, the quickest one in the world"
Phil haha i laughed when he said that........ so modest
Quick flex
Even has a millennium jade green r34. Damn
Props to you guys, looks awesome cosmetically as well as what you got under the hood
Never have that approach towards life! I had a similar way of thinking, but I never gave up, and now I have an S13, which I improve every month from my salary . I don't know, what your capabilities are but believe me, if you'd buy a cheap, not in top-notch state car, and then start repairing and improving it month from, month, you'll feel like you are getting somewhere. It may take years, but WHEN it's finished, and you look back, you'll be the happiest man on Earth, seeing your achievement!
Croydon Racing Developments are very well known in Australia and have built more then just one car with 1000hp
Jesus i just had my 32 in for a full rebuild. its pushing just shy of 500KW at all four now but JUN is an amazing piece of engineering. good job guys.
@fcukimrad bear in mind, the veyron was probably tested on a prepped surface. FYI, there was a 0.8sec difference on the 1/4mile between the runway and a prepped surface. Freaking insane!
"After one run it is now banned from the track"
Nice, mission completed!
gosh i love that sound when that skyline passes by the camera...
An RB26 with a nitto stroker kit. weren't you listening when thy read that out?
Actually a BNR32 GT-R in full street trim (such as 'JUN') Weigh in at 1440Kg's (Have a 32 GT-R so i know its tare weight) and according to most accurate weight of a Veyron (roughly 1900kg). Each car is completely different. One powered by a Quad Turbo W16 8.0L engine the other, an I6, 2.6L, Single top mount turbo. 400kg difference but at the same time the Veyron's displacement is also 3 times larger. Not to mention engineered to perfection.
1. In Australia, any car that runs 10.99 sec or faster needs the appropriate safety equipment installed (a roll cage being one of them).
2. If the car has never run before they don't know how fast its going to go - if the car runs 10.99 or faster its not allowed back until it complies to safety.
3. In the video he states he doesn't want to put a cage in it, so he gets 1 shot at "giving it all its got".
A true engineering masterpiece...amazing.
I love this car! I would say you have done something amazing if you can beat a Bugatti Veyron.
i can't describe how much i want this car.
@MrVanq
Usually anything that runs below a certain time (in WA it's around 11's) requires a cage. This ran well below that so it's possible that's why.
love youtube bringing back 10 year old Ol' school vids !
Lol. I love it when people that think they know a lot but cars, but actually don't have a clue, comment on these videos. Makes for good entertainment. Just in case you didn't realize, you are one of those people.
I havn't touched my suspension at all in my 32, i currently run 420AwKw, so long as i keep my 60ft time down i should be into the 10's as well. A 385AwKw R32 GT-R with the exact same set up as mine has run a 10.4 (with a 1.1 60fter). That being said this particular 32 has run a 9.28 on the strip which is closer to the times you would expect from it. That being said since i last had it. It has been in the shop as now has a 2.8L stroker and runs completely different to when i last drove it.
THat is insane! I LOVE IT!
Because it currently runs on pump gas, street tires, suspension on the rear is soft hence the front end is lifted during brute acceleration thus reducing traction. Give it some race gas and some slicks... it will run like low 8's or probably 7's...
ONE more video before I sleep...GAWD. That was 1 hour ago. FML feeling sleepy at work tomorrow but with a big smile and dreaming again.
2020 and still beast
when they mentioned Os giken for drive train i was like hold up....... this just got real lol. Best Nissan ive ever seen built and its a street car.
An amazing car and a world class piece of engineering! CRD are a fantastic company with a rich history of developing and building world class racing cars! They will only go from strength to strength!
this car is crazy! i love it. i dont have a skyline but i have the s14 with a built RB25
NOW THATS A REAL CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow... Guy must have a good amount of money to be able to have a sequential manual in a STREET car lol. Props!
that is so badass. Technically by numbers it is faster than a Veyron. That is impressive.
I love how the drivers head gets THROWN back @ 3:30 on every single gear shift, even over 100mph+ its still throwin him around!
r32 one of skylines best street car. especially in granturismo r32 mines skyline
WOW!! that gave me goosebumps seeing that go down the strip, awesome car :)
I swear hear this exhaust note in my dreams.
Damn what a beast.
Real dreamcar.
@MaxiTheTaxi have a looksee :) the reverse lights aren't down near the plates like jdm cars but instead are where the indicators usually reside. the indicators are moved to take up one of the stovetops: one red stovetop, one yellow. looks a bit funny to me, but distinguises your car as aussie. other differences already mentioned inc the antenna, the box/xfer cooler etc. really miss my old 32 :(
rb26 and 2jz are indestructible!!
R32's are the best skyline IMO. My fucking dream car right there.
Also i might add Nick (The original Owner) of JUN lives about 4 doors down from me and he has a white 32 now. I believe its up to at least 550KW and still going. Interesting to see what he does.
If i recall correct Glen Suckling from New Zealand has the record for quickest manual shifted gtr.
@MotiveDVD the alpha 12 gtr from ams is a 8 second car, i live 5 miles from AMS here in west chicago trust me it would blow this thing away, its got 1300whp
It’s not an R32 tho, or an RB
Nitto stroker is around 7K AUD. Custom bits and labour = dunno. Gearbox would be around 25-30K. But as you said, it was in an awesome state of tune beforehand, making about 730whp.
Back when Robert had hair lol. Had to come and rewatch this after all these years. Crazy he’s still shattering records. Damn I had hair when I first watched this too 🤣 sporting the shaved head now 😢😂
You Aussies know how to build a gtr!!! very sweet!
@MaxiTheTaxi yes its an aussie delivered car. has teh yellow/red stovetops too
@RicerEater1978
that's because it's a drag car, if it were a track machine it would most definitely be sporting a huge spoiler and "fugly bodykit."
that iss thee madddddddessssttt sleeperrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing build, amazing car. A lot of money.
Great!!! I always wake up late to work I need one of those to get there in the morning soon ............
Quicker to 200 then a veyron? fark that is insane. love the whiplash from the gear changes. Sucks it isn't caged to see how far it can be pushed down the quarter
Fucking MENTAL!!
Proud to know these cars can be built here in Australia, even though we are that lonley island down south.
@nickster1318 No mate it is street registered, try pulling up next to cop or the EPA and see how long it stays on the road without a defect ticket or worse.
didn't you watch the video? the owner said he specifically owns the car for the street and nothing else. if you were to bump up the power to lets say 850-900hp on pump, reliability issues come into play such as detonation, overheating and drivetrain weakness, also pump gas doesn't have the additional internal cooling abilities when compared to race gas. I respect the japanese way of tuning cars but it's all up to the owner and what he/she wants from their car :)
Yeah true. In Australia i think it's any faster than 11.99 seconds or certain MPH and you need a cage or theyll kick you out. You also need a tailshaft loop if you run faster than 12.99... but hardly anyone runs tailshaft loops lol.
My mate ran 11.8 @ over 130MPH+ and he didnt have a cage, so no more runs for the day for him lol
What a beast!
Skyline GT-R (R34) is legal in Canada in 2014. Can't wait.
R34 rims on a R32 looks prety cool as well
@gofastkid92 i guess it looks like rwd cuz the weight is shifted to the back end and the smoke seem to appear more on the rear wheel do to more friction
skyline r32 GTRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! the legend...
r32 say i kill youuuu!!! ¬¬ ferrari, bugatti, evo and the other cars...
nice body nice sound this is the amazing machine...
@redae71 almost everything on the car is custom made haha plus the first reply was that the cam specs are custom. For lift, idk either (i admit that, worth some credit right?:) ) but i know its got to match whatever the flow rate of the car is. (or higher) depending on how much lift the car's valves give. For Duration, they probably lengthened the time that the valves stay open to inrease the power of the car. but not to much as to hamper low end power ;)
The sequential gearbox from HKS is $18k alone.... never seen one on an actuall car...awesome
WSID's rules are if a car goes faster then 10.4 or something it has to be caged, and over here you cant have a street car with a cage, the epa would love this car.
Every Upshift the Neckbreak-Saga continues...
looked like it was gonna take off! all it needs is wings !
Skull Crusher Approved!!
Correct Josh the government here in the states are snatching up the motorex GTRs. There is however the Silvia route with a RB26 swap and a GTR body kit.
If you guys still have this car can you please make a video of the 0-200 with the camera on the spedo
GTR MY DREAM CAR!!!
@gofastkid92
all wheel drive still
living the life of luxury which includes heaps of YUM AS FOOD!
It depends on the spec, UK has a bigger variety of power level choices than europeans for example.
Very very nice, I have one myself. I love it but having a few issues at the moment with turbo surge, he's a very naughty boy. Only hope I can make it back to half as good as JUN, well done guys awesome.
What people forget is that the bugatti veron ways something like 3 tonnes or somthing like that
and that r32 only ways about 800 kgs so really its power to weight ratio
@nickster1318 and @redhot it might be registered and 'legal' but it isn't.
Just because the EPA and RTA decide it is a special case means nothing, it is technically against the law. That was the only point I was making, I do agree it is still 'street' and awesome...
@RG5EX11
The car/video are in Australia
What an amazing car.
I saw my first r32 today lol but it was so brief and I didn't recognise it until the tail lights XP
This is just sickening. I'm glad they are still using the R32 platform. It really is a true sports car.
@domestickilla That's because they need more fuel per cylinder. 2150cc x 4 = 8600cc
1650cc x 6 = 9900cc. Still, bloody insane regardless.
@nzdrift777 Don't underestimate the veyron, it has a brilliant drivetrain, the DSG box is so efficient, has brilliant traction and has ballistic acceleration. I've seen a vid of it doing the 1/4 in 9.8 seconds.
this thing....WOW!!!!
If you bought it from someone built already, i'd say about $40,000-45,000. If you wanted to build it up to 600hp it would take about $20,000 in engine parts and tuning alone. Thats not including the price of the car or upgrades to the suspension/brakes.
OS Giken. Usually they are shipped from japan, price is about 14000.
I'l prove you wrong once i order my R34 gtr from you guys
GT-R POWER
its trying to fly! Dat Power....
@kwbassacoustic torque lifting the front end, watch any high horsepower supra or import, and you'll see the front end drop once they let off the throttle
Would be a perfect car for Texas Mile type of event.
they said that they had some secret on building the car, setup and the mods.in japan, most gtr can tune up that hp or even higher, why don't use them as reference? Also, tuning car are not aim at peak power,it's the way it drives and handles!
I love this car
wow that's an amazing machine ,well done .I feel like I shoulda had to pay to watch this clip.
That's what makes it such a GODZILLA monster to drive... any GTR with 700+ is not for the faint hearted ;)
@MotiveDVD
Considering the alpha 12 run 8's i would say it has nothing to prove and doesn't ahve to show up. Having said that this is prob my fav 32 gtr
Holy Moly
The cobra jet is a production car and is in the 8s stock
Beautiful r33 love it
10,000ks on the clock, fucking brilliant!
Here we go again.. another hopeless night of watching videos of cars i will never own... depressed at the moment...i would sacrifice my sack for this
"with better surface we'll be well deep into the 9's" the car could run 9's on a proper track, not bad for a street car with full interior, working AC, no tubs, etc, also in Australia if you run faster then a certain time you must put safety equipment in the car before they will let you run again
sounds so nice
new Bugatti Veyron Supersport with around 1200 HP.
The 0-100 km/h sprint is made in about 2.5 seconds
but 0-200 km/h takes just 7.3 seconds and to 300 km/h in just 15 seconds, this being possible because the new Bugatti Veyron is lighter with 50 kg then the previous version.
