Tony i had the same thing happen to me. The bolts snapped off in the diff housing on me. The front is probably going to be the same way as thats what i found on mine.
Buy a new front axle for 4ws, if you chose to go that route. Also check out Large Scale Forum for info on the diff mod (grinding the case) and putting a brass bushing between the two bearings on the output shaft of the axle. Rick Dizzle goes into it pretty deep on Large Scale Forum.
The screw/bolt heads fell out of the ring gear and seized the works, after they sheared off. Method of Big Hammer should do the trick, to get it apart.
the bolts probably came loose some people grind the case then nut and bolt it. Tig welder would get those bolts out :)
These things are to me what a Clod Buster was when I was a kid. Huge, super cool, I want one but , no way could I afford one. Awesome job guys.

Milwaukee 3/8 drive impact and some 3/8 drive long hex wrenches are the ticket for working on the Primal

Maybe you guys can help me with mine. It is not priming at all. I replaced the fuel tank and fuel lines.
Little work with a dremel and that half of the diff and wold be ready to roll again.
