- I love visiting the NEC Toy Fair for vintage toy hunting. It's usually a good hunting ground for me.

Great video VTR, I was very tempted to go along myself, but decided not to. Next time I'll make more of an effort! It's a shame, that the Barry Potter fairs used to have a few each year in my home town, but for some reason stopped.
Hey Dez, it would be great to meet up at the NEC 👍 Seems a few fairs are struggling with the costs. Now, I just wish I hadn't picked up a bug too - this one being persistent!!

Lots of great stuff, yeah Mego did some interesting magnet toys bitd.😄4:57 Actually picked up that cartoon Beetlejuice recently, first time with BST AXN, bit of a mixed bag, nice sculpt, decent pricing, with some good and bad articulation heh. 9:41 Hope nobody tries to eat those lol.🤢 Nice pickups, some nice Rambo bits.🙂
Hey Logan, that Beetlejuice is a great pickup! I don't have any myself but love the film. It's amazing what you find at these fairs - vintage Yoghurt is definitely a niche area of collecting 🤣 Hopefully, will complete the Strike HQ one day, there's so many accessories in that set!! 🤘
You have to go for the early bird entry it gets so busy later on it’s hard to have a good look at the stalls. I was there early but didn’t see you otherwise would have had a chat. Some great pick ups there👌 I managed to pick up the Action Force command centre, and telephone set for my collection.
Completely agree, early bird is the only way to go, and everyone else now thinks that too 😎 I saw both of those pieces, congratulations on grabbing them 🤘Hopefully we can meet up next time 👍

The Early Bird at least gets you early item access, but yes, still very crowded! Great work covering this giant show. Those Super Naturals & Visionaries carded figures look good along with those MASK boxes and more. Nice bronze D&D Dragon. Logray was a favorite Ewok, cool to see it there carded. Captain Scarlett vintage Yogurt, ha, I guess it's packed with even more bacteria cultures now. SlimeHouse's monsters collection is great, yes. Cool Lego Lamborghini. Nice Rambo items and Cloud Cars. Nice, thanks Dave! Feel better soon.
Yeah, early bird still the way to go - I can't imagine not using it. There's no doubt though collecting is much more popular than it was say 5 years ago. Plenty to see this time, but you've got to be committed to collect the Yoghurt 🤣 Thanks, and unfortunately the bug is kicking butt today 😞
@@VintageToyRush Thanks, Dave! When I feel ill, I usually put on a lot of blankets and sweaters to stay very warm and then just rest the whole day watching TV. The extra warmth usually is the key for my fast recovery, though everyone is different.

On ZSR last Friday. I was talking about one of my favorite toys as a kid. It was the Moonraker space space gun. And at 8:04 in your video, there it was! Still boxed too!!! Wow! That really was a blast from the past.

Hey Shabby, you can't beat that Moonraker gun!! I love it so much I picked one up several years ago from the same guys and it's been on the Bond shelf ever since 👍 Ha ha, now the horse I decided to skip on but it must have been.a sight watching two guys holding and comparing a load of horses 🤣 Trying to recover, but this bug is kicking butt!!

That looks like a great toy fair, but I think I'd find it too overwhelming, and I'd constantly be thinking "what am I missing on the other 500 tables"! Glad you had a good day Dave, although those General Madine figures were definitely following you.

Cheers Dave! 🤘 Usually, I'll do a fast lap to start with, then take it easy after that. But this time, I didn't even make it round all the stalls before the early bird finished. Just took it easy and chatted with everyone on the way round 🤣 I keep seeing Madine even at home - maybe I have the problem 😎
NEC looks awesome, however meeting the other creators, followers and sellers is as much fun as the toy hunting. Cool pickups Dave, love the Rambo line. Well actually most of that vid was plastic porn 😅❤😊
You're not wrong there - it took ages to visit all the stalls as I spent most of the time having chats with everyone 🤣 Another Rambo fan! Awesome, I've done a few Rambo vids 👍
@@VintageToyRush yes yes, ive watched, i think, a mail opening, where you had purchased some on card series two figs 😁👍 They're so super hard to find in Oz. But i have a few to make me smile every time i see them there. You probably dont realise i use to watch your unboxings all the time, so was a tad sad when u stopped 🤣👍

Another great video Dave. Really cool seeing all those vintage action man goodies, I'm working on a custom Mandalorian uniform for my own Action Man at the minute.
