The lorry is a 4x2 tractor unit which usually means it's foreign, so would be left hand drive. Those mirrors on HGVs create big blindspots because they block the driver's view when looking to passenger side. That's probably why they didn't see the cam vehicle.

Sorry but I don't agree with the point of view that the nissan driver was cut off The be was indicating to turn left off the roundabout, and the nissan was being aggressive by trying to get past on the inside, but didn't have the room or enough opportunity. Although, even if a Cyclist breaks the rules of the road and you collide, it could be considered that as a car driver or especially hgv driver....you should know what could happen and prepare to avoid it! A Cyclist was run over by hgv as the cyclist just hopped from pavement to road right infront of hgv...driver had no chance to avoid him! In his statement, he said bloody Cyclist, they do it all the time! It was that comment that got him jailed! Judge said...if they do it all the time, why were you not prepared for it!
