It's very hard to pick a favourite when every rescue is an amazing rescue. Fully admire you guys' true guts and determination. Every life saved is a favourite moment. Countless amazing moments. A true blessing is what you all are!😊
That’s always my number one question why do people come to Bondi Beach, which can be one of the most ferocious beaches with the rips and as soon as the wave comes and they lose footing and they can’t swim? Why? Is it a dare thing or is it a stupidity thing? ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!
It only takes 1 inch of water for a child to drowned. In my 22 years as a paramedic I can’t tell u how many bodies I’ve had to pronounce because “the phone rang” “I just left for a second to get a towel” “ someone rang the doorbell” don’t take your eyes off your kids folks! Take everything you need in the bath before you start and do not walk away from your babies! Or pools, that’s a whole nother comment but Jesus, it’s hell to have to do CPR on an infant, toddler, child, teen, adult, whomever I’ve pronounced 41 kiddos in 22 years, done CPR on countless others, and saved quite a few but it takes 5 seconds and an inch an INCH of Water to drowned!! Parents please watch your kids!! 🥺 it’s an awful part of the job for sure. These life guards are super hero’s for what they do every day! ❤ know your limits and if you aren’t a strong swimmer don’t go into the water past your knees! Love you guys! Keep up the strong work! ❤
As a long time surfer, I realise you guys have the skills to recognise a swimmer in trouble. But its a subtle art. It seems to be as much about about 'what you don't see, as much as what you do see'. In other words, what you would like to see a swimmer doing, to stay afloat or get back in, from a rip or off a sandbank, but arent seeing. Have you considered doing a video for surfers, on what the telltale signs are that a child (or someone not asking for help), is in trouble. Have learned a lot from you guys already. Thanks. Appreciate you guys!
Amazing stuff everyone. Very important job and you do it so superbly. The amount of lives saved is outstanding 👏 🎉 such wonderful, kind, caring people. Theres no words that can give enough thanks and praise for the thankless task. Well done everyone! Take care. Stay blessed 🙏😊❤️
They say "If you're not a strong swimmer don't go there", but sadly people tend to think they're better swimmers than they are under Australia's conditions. Drowning is not a good way to find out. Just Listen to the Rules, + pay attention to how busy the Lifeguards are every day! You're all amazing!
Oh my...I loved Harrison, I loved Chapo, I loved Mario...oh my I loved them all! Well done to the Bondi Beach lifeguards!!! Hope to meet all of you 1 day!!
I'll never get why people don't know how to deal with rip current, or people who can't swim going into the ocean that has waves taller than they are. Rip current you swim to either side, parallel to the beach, till you left the rip current, swimming against it will be your undoing. I'm a greater swimmer, been swimming since I was a toddler, and even I don't try to swim against rip current, always swim to the side never against it. Also if you find the waves are battering you, dive under them, it's better to hold your breath for 5 seconds to avoid a wave than to try breathing with a wave hitting you. When I enter the ocean, I treat it like entering the bloody jungle, danger is hidden but never far. 🤣
Definitely would not take the black cloud away it would only massively reinforce it! It's not that the rescues are unsuccessful that he got the nickname is that when he's on there tends to be very chaotic days.
coming from the most terrifying white woman jumpscare of a pfp ive ever seen 💀💀 99% of people on this show have been white people so maybe do a lil more looking ☹️
Join us in expressing gratitude for the dedicated service of Bondi Beach lifeguards! We'd love to hear about your favourite rescue moment! 👇

Not the first time I've seen Harrison go for a boardless rescue, bouncing off the bottom with his own head going underwater. He really is selfless
Oh my...I loved Harrison, I loved Chapo, I loved Mario...oh my I loved them all! Well done to the Bondi Beach lifeguards!!! Hope to meet all of you 1 day!!
Kudos to Harisson
Great job, Mouse. CPR is especially tough with tiny kids. It's hard not to get emotional and panic
Never never leave your little ones out of your site please. 🙏
Agreed! Always keep an eye on your kids - even your friends and family, if they are not strong swimmers 🙏
Calling the rescued people patients seems wrong. But I can't think of a sensible word.!!!!!

WHY DO PEOPLE WHO CANT SWIM GO TO BONDI BEACH? Or any ocean 🌊 beach?
Way to go mouse. I hope this takes the black cloud name off of you.

Does anyone know what binoculars they use, they seem to be really high powered compared to regular ones

It's not really funny. It's lack of experience in the water, and lack of knowledge. They just don't know, because they haven't been taught.
99.9% of the time it is
I think that all of the time when watching this lmao. They need to take a swimming lesson or something before going to the beach
aaaaaaa i cant waittt
